These has been little warning via her office of these cancellations. However, the cancelation today was beyond a rude inconvenience as I was only informed of such upon arrival -- and was told that, as were the other incidences of cancellations, she "called in sick." I was told that she "had left me a message of the cancellation on MyChart." I don't log into my MyChart on a daily basis. And, when I do, it's usually because I'm informed via text that I have a new message regarding an upcoming physicians appointment. This behavior from a clinical mental health professional in unhealthy and immature.

High turnover rate for therapists, supervisors just show up "whenever" or cancel or do not show up at all. Very poor business practices and unprofessional. Poor communication. My son attended this clinic from December through May. During that time, there were three separate incidents that I felt were unprofessional. I overlooked them because the clinic's location and hours were incredibly convenient. It was right next door to my son's speech therapy, which made our lives much easier. My son is a Level 3 three year old autistic child who is nonverbal. While in their care, he suffered a scratch on his cheek that has since healed into a permanent scar. When the incident happened, no one called either parent. Instead, the staff called the owner of the business. My husband happened to walk into the clinic, and that's when he learned about the injury. The incident report stated that a phone call had been made and that my son received medical care after my husband arrived. In my opinion, the priority should have been to immediately provide first aid, notify the parents, document the incident, and then inform management. Instead, we were told that parents are only called if something life-threatening happens. My child was at the clinic, not at home. As his parents, we should have been notified as soon as he was injured, especially when the injury broke the skin on his face. That was my son's last day at this clinic because I no longer felt he was being properly supervised. I also had concerns about the safety of the environment and the equipment. When I raised my concerns, it felt like the focus was more on protecting the business than acknowledging that my son had been permanently scarred. They treated the injury as though it were nothing more than a scraped knee, when in reality, he now has a scar on his face that he will carry for the rest of his life. I'm sharing this review so other parents can make an informed decision. Every parent deserves to know how injuries are handled and what to expect if their child is hurt while in the clinic's care.

We then received a bill for $300 and called back and were told that we needed a referral. I then called again on July 28th, 2024 and asked them for their provider code for Tricare and then they told me that I need a referral from my daughter's PCM to be seen there. So I asked The associate Mika (don't know how to spell it) to review the phone call since they are recorded and if she can't I want her supervisor. They reviewed the phone call and the supervisor (Jocelyn) confirmed that the associate told us that we DID NOT need a referral and had Mika ask us "what do you want to do" and I said since you misinformed us and gave us false information to dismiss the bill because knowing if we needed a referral we would have got one prior to coming" I was told that "we cannot do that since care was already administered" so that is fine. Your business needs training and are inadequate in your regulations and rules and I feel it was intentional on being misleading to get money from your patients pockets. See ya in court
