My dogs were loved, bonded with, and cared for while getting incredible training. They allowed my dogs to sleep together at night which made me feel extra comforted while they were away. I didn't know what to expect when they started and being without your dogs for that long of a time requires a lot of trust. There was so much care put into communicating with me during their time away, including occasional video updates showing me how they were progressing. I would say my dogs were pretty well behaved before going to training, but theres a lot of prejudice in the world against pitbulls. Thanks to Joe and his team I now have the confidence and comfortability going to public parks, beaches and even being in my own yard knowing that when I call they will come. They were trained to walk on and off leash and to respond to commands necessary. They came back calmer, their coats were shinier and looking healthier than ever. Not only were the dogs given the training, but Joe then took the time and care to ensure I was ready to bring them home and keep the work going. He has taken many phone calls from me with questions and continues to work with both myself, family members and my dogs post the 7 week training. I can't say enough how grateful I am for how they have cared for my dogs. I highly recommend K9 to anyone who needs boarding or training.

All because she had an offer for dog walking. at the same time of our 30 minute orientation appointment. we couldn't believe a business owner would decide hmmmm should I cancel the appointment with the client who is giving me several days of business next week or should I tell this other person that I can't walk your dog at that time but I can come 30 minutes later...? LOL. To do that once is bad enough. To do it again 3 days later - the day before the rescheduled appointment __ is just laughably bad business. We were fed up and canceled her. i can't comment on what anyone who works for her is like because we only dealt with Kim even though she wouldn't be doing the actual pet sitting. She's unreliable, rude and unprofessional and hides behind email replies even when you say please call me. INSTEAD, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING The ROVER app to find a local verified RELIABLE pet caregiver to come to your home or to take in your pet while you're at work or on vacation.. we're VERY happy with the pet professional we found on ROVER who is also local and are delighted to give them out repeat business. A silver lining after the nightmare that was Kim. when I explained why we were canceling her services she just deleted our account instead of emailing and apologizing. One day at our vet he asked if they boarded cats, they gave us a pamphlet that was just dropped off and said The Whisker Haven had just opened up. We immediately called and asked to see the place. Trina was so great and understood why I would be nervous. Her place is strictly for cats so it is a nice and relaxing place for them. She showed us around and we even met her two cats that were there. Trina put so much thought and care into her place and it can be seen with all the little details I would never have thought of. I was so happy that we booked four days with her for the July 4th holiday. She asked if it was OK if she texted us updates, and of course, we were happy to get them! While we were away we received pictures and updates. Our Agnes was doing great and looked so happy and comfortable. When we showed up to pick her up, she didn't want to leave! She was walking around and enjoying the large cat tree that is near her large window in the back. She was so happy and enjoyed her time there. Trina also brushed her, which we were able to tell because she felt so nice and well taken care of. Surprisingly, we put her on the floor and she walked back into her "cat condo", ate, and went to sleep in the bed! This is truly the best place you could bring your cat. Trina cares for animals and is a true cat lover. She has thought of everything possible to make your cat's time there enjoyable. She even will give your cat their medication for a small fee, this was great because our cat needs a pill twice a day. We have already booked future dates because we feel she will be booked up once the word gets out! We highly recommended bringing your cat here. It is like an affordable spa vacation for your cat. You will be so happy with The Whisker Haven, Trina is the best!
