Trina was a Godsend when my elderly dad had to go into rehab for six weeks due to an injured back. There was no way I could provide the daily care and attention his cat needs. From the start, Trina was prompt, warm, and clear in all of her communications with me regarding the process and what to expect. She is a personally sweet and delightful person--immediately put me at ease when I arrived. I've only seen one other cat boarding facility, back in San Diego county, and it was supposedly the best: but it was just a series of stacked cages that the cats were basically imprisoned in until it was their turn to come out to the little play area. On the other hand, Trina has managed to create what I can best describe as "tiny homes" for cats within a building on her lot. Each cat room is very tall, with lots of ledges for cats to clamber up and down on for exercise, and most have big picture windows to keep an eye on the wildlife outside in the big yard. My dad's cat was super happy and pampered there. Trina takes a lot of photos and shares them by text most days--it was obvious he was having a great time. In addition to providing the nicest possible housing for the cats, Trina also grooms them, if they let her: She performed a miracle with my dad's cat--he never looked so healthy or so sleek as the day I picked him up to go home! I highly, highly recommend The Whisker Haven, and feel blessed that it's as close as it is. But even if I lived 250 miles away or more, I would travel that distance to leave my cat with the sweetest "cat lady" in New Hampshire! read more

I cannot say enough great things about Trina and the Whisker Haven! I needed a last minute boarding for my kitty for a few weeks and found The Whisker Haven. Trina was incredibly responsive and immediately got back to me. We talked through all the super reasonable price options and what is included and I immediately booked a room. From the moment I dropped Luna off till the moment I picked her up, Trina was helpful and in touch. She sent me daily pictures and little updates daily. This was such a huge piece of mind, I didn't have to worry about whether she was properly taken care of and loved. There are tons of toys and climbing poles and big windows for them to watch the birds play outside. Trina went above and beyond not only taking amazing care of my cat but she was wonderful to communicate with and when our flight was a little delayed coming back, she stayed open and changed her plans so she could be there when we picked her up. We even went home with a little box of goodies for her!! I am pretty sure my cat had a better time on vacation than I did!! We recently left our cat Kevin in the care of Trina at Whisker Haven for three weeks, and we could not be more thrilled with the exceptional service we received. Trina is a true cat lover, and it showed in the care and attention she gave to Kevin. Throughout his stay, Trina kept us updated with daily photos and texts about Kevin's activities and behavior. It was great to see that Kevin was not only being well taken care of but was also being entertained and loved by Trina. It was obvious that Trina understands cats and their unique personalities. She took the time to get to know Kevin and his preferences, from his favorite toys to his preferred sleeping spot (not to mention his favorite hat!), which helped to ease our anxiety about leaving him in someone else's care. When we picked Kevin up after our trip, he was happy and relaxed, a testament to the wonderful care he received at Whisker Haven. I just picked up my little girl, Marsha, today from Whisker Haven after a three week stay. My experience with Whisker Haven was very positive. Plenty for kitties to do in the thoughtfully decorated cat rooms and the large playroom. Trina is a dedicated cat lover. She really loves the cats that stay with her and goes above and beyond to make sure each kitty is comfortable in a new environment. Whisker Haven is a cross between a gym and a spa. It makes me smile to know Marsha adjusted so well. Trina sent beautiful pictures of my cat every other day along with an update of Marsha's activities. Trina has the most tender heart for cats. We were blessed beyond measure to have found this cat boarding facility. We were sent photos and were texted with continual updates. She even dressed our two cats in patriotic garb to celebrate the 4th of July with photos. The Whisker Haven is spotless and well organized with ample spaces for play and alone time. Each cat condo gets a giant window with a birdfeeder for entertainment. Trina even took care of our Lion head rabbit for us. We can't say enough about The Whisker Haven and Trina and would absolutely use her services again! We have passed her name along to many people. We always had someone come to our home and look after our cats. When we moved to an apartment, the building arrangements weren't the best for non-residents so we needed a place to board our scaredy cat Felix. Trina and The Whisker Haven proved to be fantastic. Trina took to Felix immediately, pampered him and made us feel right at ease. She is the nicest, most considerate person to work with. She will cut claws, give your cat a spa treatment and even tried to put Felix in his harness for us! I just picked my kitty up today after a 6 week stay at The Whisker Haven and I'm so glad that we chose them to care for him, this was his first time being boarded. Trina sent us pictures almost every day of him playing in the big play room, she doesn't allow the cats to mingle with one another. but they get plenty of attention, she brushes them and they get special treats. It's only for kitties so don't call her for your dog. I will definitely use them again and have recommended them to others. You won't be disappointed. read more

We were going to Florida for 2 weeks and needed someone to care for our two cats Boo and Hannah. We heard of The Whisker Haven and went for a visit before deciding to board our cats there. Trina was very sweet and showed us the Deluxe Condos. We decided to board our cats there and needless to say we were quite happy. We received updates and photo's of our two fur babies.
