My mastiff went in for a removal of a fluid collection on her elbow. Typically 2-3cm incision. She…read morehad imaging done prior so knew it was fluid. They cut her completely open with a 6cm incision and sutured her and didn't even approximate the incision. She's a large dog, 125lb, they squeezed her into too small of a cannel and she tried to lay down and cut her foot open on the cannel requiring another bandage. They also sent her home with no pain medication. Only gabapentin I'm so upset and really don't understand. We will be calling tomorrow to get some answers. She's miserable. Pat and his wife were excellent, however their focus is on equine and breeding horses so whoever is left in the office is very green and not experienced enough to be completely procedures alone.

My cat died because of them…read more I brought my cat in who was not eating or drinking (he was 6). They kept him for 3 days, I was told "dehydration", sent home with crazy expensive food that he barely picked at, and I watched him RAPIDLY waste away in the comfort of my own home, where he passed away with me 2 nights after I brought him home. Moving forward - got a new dog. She's small and feisty, but as long as you respect her bubble and earn her trust, she warms right up to anyone. I was at a shared appointment - my mom had her dog, and I had mine - same room, just to have a quick thins done for both. While My mom's dog was being treated, Dr. Shlenker came in unannounced, walked right over to my dog who was facing me on my lap, and jabbed her with a shot - no notice. My dog LOST IT. The entire thing was HIGHLY unprofessional. Not to mention, when we were greeted initially, it came with a lot of attitude and absolutely NO effort to help my "more than vocal" jack russell comfortable in possibly another area. Since they moved - quality in care has TANKED. Prices have gotten absolutely OUTRAGEOUS, so for the horrendous cost (of ANY treatment/food) paired with absolute GARBAGE care..........we are SOOOOOOOO DONE. My family has been going their for years - maybe had 10 pets there over the years? I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to them now. They run like a careless factory and nickel & dime you for the most ridiculous things. I've actually spoken to several other PAST customers recently who shared similar stories about pets getting horrible care, randomly dying, employees being heartless and mean. I will NOT be back. And I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY encourage anyone else to spend time looking elsewhere. There are plenty of other vets in Lincoln that offer far superior care & pricing. Clocktower has lost the pot. STAY FAR FAR FAR FAR away.

About 3 years ago one dachshund,12 yrs old, was having heath issues.The doctor was so patient and forthcoming discussing our pet's end of life care. We are so grateful for how the doctor and staff helped us during this difficult loss of a special pet.
