They made recommendations taking into account both our budget and our safety. On our first round of tree removal, I stayed home from work since I'm the paranoid type and wanted to watch the process in action. If you've never watched tree removal, you should. It's like an elegant dance watching men guide huge limbs with rope and climb up trees with chain saws. They clearly knew what they were doing. There were no "close calls" even though they were removing huge trees near a fence, deck, and several houses. Their cleanup is superb. An added bonus was that they even cleaned up some brush in our yard that was already there before they arrived. Score! My one complaint is that they left large, deep tire marks in our yard last time. In their defense, our yard is pretty crappy and it had rained a lot in the days before that round of service. Note, they do have a $500 minimum.

A second car was also underneath the carport and trapped but not badly damaged. A Richmond representative was at my house the day after the hurricane to give an estimate, and the next day a work crew and large crane showed up to remove the fallen tree and associated debris. The crew even figured out a clever way to free the second vehicle, and that vehicle is now back in service. The work I described above was paid for by my insurance company, but we also privately contracted with the Richmond crew to remove three other trees that was leaning and to pick up debris in our back yard, which they did to our complete satisfaction.

The crew did a good job of cleaning up and cutting what they could from the cherry picker. Believe they had 6 people cleaning, 1 in bucket, and one supervising. The issues I have is not only did they remove a tree, but it's now 11/29/18 and i have heard no mention of how they are going to fix my problem. Just said they will get back and no return calls. This was my home they impacted and devalued and they just went ghost. I will say that people need not worry too much because in 15 years I was the only person who had got his tree cut down on accident. (Such a great thing to hear after you destroy my property). Unbelievable how they used hoists to hold the tree up while they cut it down.
