He gave me the best, most accurate quote to remove roughly twenty trees that had either fallen or were leaning dangerously after Helene, in addition to the one tree which had fallen onto my roof. Jose came out and provided great advice on what was needed. His crew came out a couple of hours later and did an amazing job! They took care of my tree issues (Big Branches leaning over the house) and cleaned up! They also even cleaned up some dead leaves that I had on my walkway!! I highly recommend Apex. Apex is my new go to for anything tree related and I'll always reach out to Jose. Last year I got tired of huge branches falling every time a storm blew through so I called my old tree guy, but he says the job would be too big for him so recommended that I call Jose at Apex. This was during the height of the pandemic and was leery of calling anyone to my home, since a couple of other's such as my plumber and A/C guy showed up maskless. Even though we were outside I wore a mask and loved that Jose respected my health and also wore a mask. They gave me the best of 3 quotes, the best advice and best communication. They showed up quickly with a gang of busy worker bees to cut back a ton of limbs from my mini forest. They are quick, efficient, and most importantly, then clean up when they are done. read more

I called Apex after receiving a referral from my friend. After requesting a quote on their web page they called me the next day to set up a walkthrough. A couple of days later they came out to provide an estimate. I assumed it would be a while before the work could start but it happened that they were able to start the next morning. Based on the job size and price estimate I expected 3-5 workers but about 8 showed up. They removed a large dead tree and a couple of smaller trees, trimmed back a few branches overhanging the roof, and removed two large branches that had fallen and become pinned in another tree. With our house backing up to a sloped river bank, some of the removal work was complex but they had more than enough people and equipment and it was handled quickly. From prep to cleanup took about 2-1/2 hours. Before they left, they cleared all of the twigs and sawdust off the roof and deck. They even cleaned out the gutters and blew the leaves off the front lawn, leaving it better than when they arrived. I would definitely recommend. read more

After doing plenty of estimates to remove a tree, stump, shavings and limbs, Apex tree removal was who I picked (they were also referred to me by Pike's). A person came out and did an estimate and all sounded great and we made an appointment for when it would be done. I had to leave work three hours early that day for that reason. They never showed up. But then I was busy for the next 10 days, not having time or simply simply forgetting to call and ask what the deal was. I got a couple more reviews and they still sounded best. So I called him once again, left a message asking that we make another appointment. That was five days ago and I have yet to hear back from him. read more

They were the most professional tree service I've ever experienced. They cut back some very large branches that were hanging over our house from a mammoth sweet gum tree and stump-ground a couple of stumps in our new yard. They came in with a big crew and full equipment, required permits, explained what would happen, checked in twice to make sure we were pleased with the progress, and cleaned up immediately after. Needed four trees removed, one a concern as several large branches hung over the main power line and the home. The estimate included tree removal, stump grinding and total cleanup and was very reasonable. After an initial bump over the scheduling, about 10 men showed up and worked responsibly and diligently, even through rain, to get everything done in less than 4 hours. They accommodated me to run some previously downed branches through the chipper and climbed to my roof to blow off debris already there from overhanging branches, which I very much appreciated. I was very impressed with their skill and management of the job. I will definitely call them again for future needs and highly recommend. read more
