Brought my dog to daycare today. I got a call at 9:27am that he was attacked. On the phone she told…read moreme they were playing and it got out of hand. Later when we went to pick him up the manager looked at the cameras she said my dog was in the corner and the other dog came up and attacked him. So she lied on the phone. I asked her if it was bad and I needed to pick him up. She said it was a little scratch. He sat in a crate the entire day. When we picked him up he has a gash that was bleeding and goosing everywhere. We brought him to the vet right away and he now has a staple in his nose, is on pain meds and antibiotics. He is so lethargic and nose is swollen. I am deeply disappointed with how they handled the situation and lied to us multiple times. We've known him for years and have been taking our two 16 year old cats to him for a while. He has helped manage one of ours with a thyroid issue. We've gone through all the various options and try and reassess as we go along. He makes recommendations as if it were his own pets and always gives the full picture with all the possibilities. The test results are quick and we usually hear back within 3 days. The hospital is big and looks and smells clean. We also love the 4 resident rescue kitties that roam the clinic. The entire office is caring and professional. They make scheduling online or over the phone easy. I like their appointment reminders. It's convenient that they're open 7 days a week and before and after work. They are on time and we never run into more than two people in the waiting room, usually one going and one coming. I appreciate they have specials like a free first exam for new patients and $25 credit to your account for referring a new patient.

We started going there when our last pup starting having heart murmurs. The vet that we had previously was super expensive, over charging for services, over medicating our pup and we decided to get a second opinion. When we first walked into Stevens, we saw a battery operated candle with a sign that stated that is the candle was lit, someone was saying goodbye to their companion and asked all those in the lobby to keep their voices low and their cell phones on vibe or silent. I knew we had found the right place. They took care of Rockie's every need until his passing last February. Rockie had heart issues and was given one to one and a half years and nearly lasted two bc of the guidance and care received from Dr Chris. The entire staff is extremely friendly and caring of our little fur babies and they offer a myriad of services such as non-sedation dental cleaning, grooming, boarding etc. The facilities are clean and they immediately disinfect any "accidents" that may occur. We have since added a new family member named Chloe. She has already had her first visit with Dr. Chris and she is on track for a healthy and happy life. Did I also mention that they help out with rescue facilities? And did I mention how reasonably priced their services are? Well, now you know! I can't imagine taking our fur babies any place else.
