Unfortunately, since Linda, the owner, decided to remove reviews off of her business page and block me completely, I was left no other choice than to post my review here, in hopes of saving others from having the same horrible experience as I did when I contacted her business, distraught and overcome with grief, the day that I lost my beloved 11 year old German Shepherd. I am attaching photos of her response to my review before she deleted it as well so that everyone can see who she truly is. My sweet beloved fur baby crossed the rainbow bridge on Tuesday. I messaged my vet and she recommended that I call A Pets Memory and said that they would come to my home and pick him up. At 2:33pm on Tuesday, sobbing and crying, I placed the call to them. I explained to the kind girl on the phone that my sweet baby had just passed away at my home and that I was referred to them and told that they would come and get him for me. She then asked me to hold for a minute so she could speak with "the boss" in hopes of seeing if there was anything that they could do to help me today because they closed at 3pm. She didn't physically place me on hold, she just set the phone down, so I could still hear the conversation between her and "the boss". As soon as she explained my situation, I hear "the boss" RUDELY say "WE CLOSE AT 3!". In other words, she wasn't willing to help me. The girl apologized and told me that they closed at 3pm and that they would not be able to come and get him today. She then asked me if there was any way that we could bring him there by 3pm. I said no ma'am, I live about 30 minutes away and I am waiting for my husband to get home so that he can have time with him and is able to tell him goodbye. She then asks me to hold on again and she tells "the boss" that I cannot get there by 3pm. I hear the boss angrily say "I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO! I CAN'T PICK UP THAT DOG!" and repeats herself several times. The girl then tells me that I can call them back after 3pm and I will get their after-hours answering service and can ask to have someone meet at their location but I will have to pay an additional fee for someone to meet me "after-hours". She then asked me if I have a cold floor that I can put him on. Confused, I said I'm not sure what you mean by "cold floor". She said "do you have a tile floor that you can put him on overnight until we can get to him in the morning?" I said no ma'am we have vinyl plank flooring. They literally suggested that I leave my sweet, lifeless, fur baby, laying on a cold floor for 18+ hours, with another pet in the house. She then asked who my vet was and said that I can bring him there and they can pick him up from there in the morning. I told her who our vet was. The second she repeated my vets name out loud, "the boss" erupted in an angry outburst accusing my vet of sending ALL of their clients to another company, which had NOTHING to do with me or my situation but frustrated me to the point that I raised my voice and said "MAAM, THEY ARE WHO SENT ME TO YOU!" I told her I needed to talk to my husband would let her know what we decided to do. We made the choice to bring him to our vets office. I did not notify them of my decision nor did I give them my name or my pets name. Upon arrival to our vets office, I explained to them my experience with A Pets Memory. When I mentioned the girl talking to "the boss", our vet said oh that was Linda. I said who is Linda? She sweetly said that she is the owner. Then the receptionist tells us that Linda had already called up there and told them that they were coming to get my baby. At this point, Linda REALLY made feel like all of this is a money grab to her. In the end, we chose to send our beloved fur baby to another company as our baby deserved the BEST! Linda IS NOT suited to handle anyones beloved baby AT ALL. You are a pet crematory, compassion is VITAL to your business! People ONLY need your services when their pets pass away! I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone who is in need of their services. read more

We lost our 15-year-old Boston Terrier, Darwin, yesterday. Through our devastation, the staff of A Pet's Memory was absolutely wonderful in helping us deal with our loss and get our boy taken care in both a compassionate and timely manner. Since we live close to an hour away from them, it was wonderful that they were able to get Darwin's ashes to us in a little over an hour so that there would be no going back and forth in the coming days. The staff listened to our grief with open hearts and were wonderful listeners. As hard as this experience was for my family, I am so grateful to A Pet's Memory for the ease of this transition and the wonderful service they provide. I would immediately recommend them to any family struggling to get through the loss of their furry family member. read more

I lost my girl Sunday morning unexpectedly. APM was caring and compassionate from my call for info Monday morning (yesterday) to picking her up today. While the prayers and bible verses they enclosed weren't big for me as an Atheistic Pagan, I understand since I'm in the Bible Belt that the majority of their clients feel otherwise. I DO greatly appreciate them clipping some of both colours of her fur. I wanted cremation because she origionally was adopted by my late wife, and didn't want to just bury her in the backyard and she be stuck here when I move. I have another two boys, and as long as still here on the MSGC when their time comes, I WILL DEFINITELY be using APM's services again, and will recommend to anyone I know who loses their furkid. read more

When I lost Zeus, they made dealing with the cremation and dealing with his remains a smooth process. Because of Pets Memory, I was able to focus on my grieving and loss and was able to rest knowing that he was being treated with respect and dignity. I had him cremated and his ashes were returned to us in a simple yet elegant urn and even provided us with a paw print to remember my best friend. I still miss Zeus and it is making me teary eyed writing this but I don't know what I would have done if they were not around to help me through my hard time. read more

Linda and her staff has been there for us 3 times now. Each time she has treated us and our pets with love. Knowing that they are taking care of our family member makes it easier. They listen and grieve with you and you know they feel what you feel. They have always given us the options to choose from and even when we change options at the last minute, they understand. Hate being a repeat customer, but love that they are there when the time comes. read more

This week we lost our precious cat, Max. The people at A Pets Memory were amazingly kind, understanding and compassionate. I will be forever grateful for their help and guidance. They were there for me when I had difficulty making decisions due to my grief. Absolutely amazing!! I am so so so pleased with everything. It was super quick (within 2 days.) They sent along comforting poems and how to handle grief. I was extremely upset because I forgot to get some of my dog's hair before he passed. I was super happy because they sent some of the hair!! My husband and I recently lost our 20 year old chihuahua Santino. We were inconsolable after his death. A Pets Memory picked up our little one and had him back to us the very next day. He is now in a different form and we know his little soul is in heaven, young again and happy but somehow having his remains here with us has brought us some relief and we feel that he is also here with us again, at home were he belongs. On top of A Pets Memory returning Santino to us so quickly they sent home with him some beautiful poems and information that are helping us with our grief. Reading the poems was hard at first and seeing some of his hair they clipped for us made us really emotional but I am SOOO grateful for it. When I talked to the staff on the phone they were very kind and empathetic. Everything they did was thoughtful and professional. I recommend A Pets Memory 100 percent. read more
