I truly could not have gotten through that week without her. She is the most caring, compassionate, gentlest, sweetest person there is. She said she loves her job, and it shows in everything she does. While working I would peak in from time to time to see her gently rubbing my moms leg, or head, holding her hand, or reading to her, always staying right by side comforting her. Saying Amanda is the best of the best does not do this young Lady justice. She is far beyond that. Amanda was a true Blessing to our family, sent to us by God.

Her CNA was Michelle and she came M-F. Michelle was awesome and fit in with the family. Showed us how to do everything and was very reassuring. Mom loved her. Madi was her nurse and wow! Madi, thank you for you. you are amazing!!!!!!!! You truly have a gift. Sarah and Reid were also involved and so kind. Mom was in hospice for about three weeks. But those weeks went smooth, stress free and mom was at peace. Our hearts are broken since we lost mom but, Suncrest made it easier. Thank you

My sisters and I were involved every step of the way. After meeting my mom they decided which caretakers would suit her needs and personality best. The care was extraordinary and my mom (who can be difficult to please at times) had a great experience with each person. Together, we set a schedule so that she usually had the same caregivers which helped on days when my mom's dementia was at its worst. She especially loved Kendyl!! My mom, sisters and I are grateful we were recommended The Key.

It's just so nice to forget you're in the hospital sometimes. I was having some testing done a couple of days ago and my Nurse Shamika, and radiology is the best. She was comforting, helpful, calmed my nerves and chatted with me while I was waiting for a quick test. Well not that quick. But she helped make me comfortable, I was able to relax and set my mind at ease. The other gals in radiology were also just as friendly and compassionate as Shamika. Oh, and I added pictures of my favorite cafeteria. If you're ever at this hospital for a long stay or at least a few hours. Stop by and visit the cafeteria on the third floor as you head to the lead Transplant center. The official name of this cafeteria is Nebraska Café. If you get lost, just ask someone for directions.

The doctor was excellent, describing the treatment options in detail and asking for my input. He provided full notes and I could also access everything in the UNMC MyChart app later.
