Home Instead provided Care Pros that were trained, professional, and on-time. They have given my family the peace of mind knowing my dad is being taken care of when we can't always be there. Staff really do seem to actually care about you. A ton. Place is of course clean, but even the areas for waiting and non-patients is wonderful. They have like a dozen different places to eat here. Made my husband really happy. He didn't have to leave the hospital to get food. Plus they offer super cheap housing for family of patients. And since we live 2hrs from here, having that was great. I go back about every 3ish weeks for procedures and I don't exactly look FORWARD to it, but I'm not anxious or anything either. I don't want to use hospitals in my hometown anymore for anything.

I truly could not have gotten through that week without her. She is the most caring, compassionate, gentlest, sweetest person there is. She said she loves her job, and it shows in everything she does. While working I would peak in from time to time to see her gently rubbing my moms leg, or head, holding her hand, or reading to her, always staying right by side comforting her. I spent a week in and out of St. Joseph Villa while my grandma was there in hospice. My family and…read moreI spent from morning till night here so I was able to see a lot while here. The staff was really nice, supportive, comforting and helpful. They treated my grandparents really well and made my family feel welcome. They would bring us carts of beverages and snacks and they let my mom and aunt stay overnight with my grandma. The staff really seemed like they genuinely cared about us and helped make my grandma as comfortable as possible. They have an ice cream parlor and they allowed my whole family to get ice cream. And we all played bingo in the dining area with my grandpa. There is a sheet they hand out daily listing all the different activities and meals for the day. They have movie nights, bingo, singers, nail salon days and other things to do. There's also a barber shop where my grandpa was able to get his haircut. Overall, I was really impressed with all the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. The only thing I'd say that I can see needs an improvement are the rooms. They could use a fresh coat of paint, new carpet, shower tiles, little things like that. And we had trouble with the power on my grandmas bed, with being able to move it up and down. But I think this facility has what matters most, great caregivers, and I appreciate everyone for showing us all care and compassion during such a hard time.
