Entering the new year I experienced great pain in one of my teeth. The same tooth that for years I would tell other dentists about that I had sensitivity. They all said that it looked fine, no cavity, no chipping, could be normal ware down from coffee, tea or stress. Was recommended to used sensitive teeth toothpaste to help. My last dentist appt. was in may 2021 for cleaning and exam. There was nothing out of the ordinary that I didn't already know about. 6 months later turns out there must have been a fracture or chipping on my tooth that allowed bacteria to go in causing the amount of pain I was in. Dr Hailey and Dr J explained everything to me in detail. Took an X-ray and explained it to me. They answered all my questions and made sure I knew what the next steps were. I did end up having to get a root canal, but I NEEDED it. They did some tests on my "dead" tooth to confirm that indeed the nerve was very sick and dying. I usually feel very afraid of the dentist due to past trauma. How ever they all made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions, and explained everything to me. I had a great experience with all their staff, including their front office ladies. They were a pleasure to talk to and work out payments with! They also understood the urgency of my appt and made sure that if something opened up or if there was a moment to squeeze me in they would! Thank you for working as a team to get the job done right! Today is the first day after my root canal and I am experiencing NO PAIN! I haven't had to take any pain relievers, and the pressure I was feeling from the infection is gone! read more

I've been coming here for around 10 years now and have always had a great experience! The staff is professional and friendly and they've always been prompt with the appointments and are great at getting me scheduled in. This is a horrible place. Stay away! The dentist put 2 crowns on and I have been in pain for months. The owner takes no responsibility for the work that her dentist did. She only blame you as the patient saying you are negligent because you didn't floss. 12/13/23- it continues to get worse with this so called dentist. Prior to me leaving her office she claimed that I needed a tooth extraction and the she would give me a referral to her oral surgeon. I declined after the mess that she created. I have been calling the oral surgeon that my insurance recommended and they reached out to A Pus and they refused to give the surgeon a referral. I ask my self what is she afraid of? Is she going to be called out for the mess she created? Regardless this story will be continued to be updates. Her practice should be A Minus!! Not A Plus because you going to be scammed by her practice!!! 1/1/24 Starting the new year great! I went to an oral surgeon and had my tooth extracted, what a difference. One star is for the staff ... poor ladies! A minus 10 for the lady that calls herself a passionate dentist and owner of this dental cabinet. This individual was so rude and unprofessional for my first visit and overly rude for my second and last one! I am a 60 year old female that have been dealing with dental issues since I age 14. What ever could happen to my teeth happened. This visit was for another issue in progress. I was bullied by this professional. Her words and mannerism was so demeaning that I blushed of embarrassment the first visit and that same night her words and negative energy haunt me that I couldn't sleep. Faulty root canal, and the dentistry does not stand behind their work. Crystal clear images showing they missed a whole canal. When I called to ask about what they could do, the front desk is zero help and says I just need to come in and be seen. I stated I could send images first. When asked what they do in these types of situations, the front desk is like a broken record stating I just need to come in and be seen. I refuse to give them more money. I am seeking legal help and BBB reporting and insurance complaints now. I am beyond frustrated with A-Plus Dentistry!! I recently had braces removed and went to them for dental work. The dental work cause pain when I eat and cause my retainer to no longer fit which caused a shift. They wanted to repair the shift their work caused and charge me $6,000. I declined to pay the $6,000 and went to my old orthodontist. They refused to clear me for my orthodontist to do it at a cheaper rate but cleared me fine when they wanted me to do the work with them at $6,000. They are working on multiple clients at the same time and rushing the work. Trying to claim you need a lot of work just for money. This is why it's causing issues in patients' mouths. I have been a patient of A Plus literally since they opened. I may have been one of their first. Even after moving 30 minutes away- I still come here. The main reason why is because I 100% believe that the staff does impeccable work. I read the reviews about some of the pricing and treatment options and yes-I can say that I have had more treatment conversations with their team as opposed to my old dentists - but I never felt any undue pressure to get a procedure. There were times when I had to prioritize other expenses and they understood. And every single thing that I have had done - from implants to root canals to cleanings and even them taking out my daughters wisdoms teeth went Well. The work done is always top notch and the staff is accommodating to my schedule as well. Bottom line- If you want your teeth taken care of ... Then you are in the right spot. read more

I was a new patient because I was searching for a new dentist, so I went into to get a cleaning and that was what they had me on the schedule for. They did x-rays (except panoramic) and then sent the dentist in. She told me that I needed a deep cleaning (which I've never been told before and I go to the dentist every 6 months) and explained the process. I asked about the cost, so the check out woman came in to go over everything with me. They quoted the price of $450 plus dollars including my dental insurance portion. I told them I'd have to discuss it with my husband and that I'd call them back to schedule the appointment. I called back a few weeks later and explained due to some financial issues (AC going out, refrigerator dying, and my daughter's upcoming wedding) that amount was just too much right now. I requested a regular cleaning and asked to schedule the deep cleaning for the next, which would be in 6 months. They told me they couldn't do that because they have me a treatment plan and that they would have to stick with that plan. They flat out refused my request, for a cleaning, for MY mouth. If they really cared about my dental health, you'd think they'd want to do a regular cleaning to tie me over until I could afford the deep cleaning. It really appeared as though it's all about the money, not what's best for my mouth. A few months ago I had work done on a couple of my teeth at this place spending about 3K out of pocket. Within second month of the root canal procedure I started having a minor pain from one of the teeth and the pain has increased since then. Now I am at a point to get same tooth reworked. Although I have complaints about their work at the time of procedures they have ignored my complaints/concerns but only concerned about the money that they were making of that work. I give the two Brooke's (both dental hygienists) and Dr Haley an A+ for their talent and treatment. They are pro's and could easily branch out to their own practice. Now let's get to the not so nice experience- Based on prices and the extremely aggressive "used-car salesmen approach " A+ gets a failing grade and I cannot recommend them to my family, 5,000 FB friends or my community of Creekside with 173 households. This is very shortsighted on the part of A + and not the proper treatment of a patient, especially one in pain from a cracked tooth and from financial pain from this pandemic; for shame. A+ prices would even be exorbitant in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, in fact it would be less expensive to fly into NYC and have the necessary work done there. You cannot be overwhelmingly aggressive with new customers and charge them over $10k for ONE implant. I have a family of four and am seeking a new dentist since mine wouldn't see me during Covid, even though I had an emergency. In my two visits, I spent $1800 out of pocket for a deep scaled cleaning , CT scan and the start of a root canal ( I simply wanted to fix a chipped tooth and replace a cracked filling). As a former journalist, I asked friends and neighbors about their dental dilemmas and some similar price gouging stories, while others found Dentists that understood financial constraints and not doing unnecessary oral surgery. I called one of the recommendations and have an initial consultation set up for next week for my entire family. I also told them about the litany of work scheduled and they were concerned. Their prices for the same extraction, bone graft and implant is $4500 less. Fool me once, shame on you! There is too much pressure on big ticket items and a long maintenance plan. I take care of my teeth so I am very insulted with this bullying tactic. If this practice really wants me as a customer they will cut these ludicrous costs in half. Suffice it to say, next week we will be looking for a nice family practice that treats you more like a person than a Dollar sign. I am willing to amend this harsh, but truthful review, if A+ rethinks their marketing plan and doesn't try to up charge a person and put the fear of God into their pitch for continued business. I would not recommend this dentistry. Especially when you have an Office Manager, Ann S, who tries to steamroll you and flat out lies about a situation when the dentist says otherwise. She is supposed to be a face of the office. My daughter got a root canal and crown done at A+ (F- is more appropriate) and is now having a bad tooth ache and headaches. Tooth ache with a root canal? She goes back in and the dentist says "looks like WE didn't get out all the infection". So my daughter has to go to a specialist for $$$ to get the root canal reworked. I called the Office Manager to ask if they insure their work if there is still a problem they need to correct and she tried to talk over me to the point to get me off the phone - she wasn't interested. I was just a stupid customer to her. She actually told me it was another tooth and not the one with the crown they did. I thought good enough, let's get it fixed. My daughter told me it is the one they did the crown and she called Ann. This lady talked down to her and CONFIRMED it was the same tooth; my wife is a witness on speaker. So she lied to me. Then told my daughter they are not financially responsible and infections grow back. On a root canal with a crown - really. Very rude. Very unprofessional. Let me look up the definition of Dental Malpractice. Let me call my attorney too. We will not be back for sure. I never write reviews but feel it necessary to write this today. We are beyond frustrated with A-Plus Dentistry!! Our 19yr daughter has been seen there many times!! We've spent crazy money here!! She's gotten root canals, crowns, and cavities filled with them. All was good until our daughter started to experience severe pain in her jaw. She made a visit only to find out that a tooth that had a root canal and crown is now infected! My daughter asks how this could be. Dr. Haley responds with..."I may have left some bacteria behind!" They then refer her to a specialist and send her on her way. Today my daughter calls and asks to speak to their office manager, Ann. She explains what occurred and questions whether they are now obligated to pay for the specialist. Ann proceeds to bully my daughter and I know this because she had the call on speaker. She responds with ...."that doesn't sound like Dr. Haley's verbiage. I will speak with her and get the accurate story and call back!" Umm excuse me, is this how an office manger speaks to their patients!? You bully them?! Imply that she's lying!? She was VERY rude and that steamrolling behavior does not look well for a person that is a so called "Office Manager!" In the end, she called back and said they would not cover the cost of her root canal rework. It's absolutely ridiculous!! They claim they "might have left some bacteria behind" and we've spent our money there for the work! Shouldn't they cover the cost?! My wife and I both had work done here spending a couple thousands of dollars out of pocket. They couldn't finish the work the started on me and I'm glad they didn't because they didn't really seem like they knew what they were doing removing wisdom teeth. When my wife went to have a root canal she still had issues after in places she was assured she wouldn't. The first procedure they didn't get it right, same issue persisted. They basically said they fixed an area that appeared to have a problem but my wife didn't come in for that. Then she goes back for another procedure (more money) in the actual area of her mouth that needed resolution. Still having issues after procedure and when we ask they resolve it they refer us somewhere else!? They up charge you on services, charge you for services you don't need, take no accountability and they are unprofessional. We won't be spending our hard earned money here and neither should you. This was the worst experience ever they told me I needed a root canal and teeth pulled also wanted me to take a loan out for the work to be done. Wanted money before they would put me on the books. pay before any work is done. well lucky for me I had a second opinion because I didn't need a root canal or any teeth pulled I only had a few cavities and they told me I need thousands of dollars worth of work when it was only a few hundred. I have been going to Dr. Farhang for a couple of years now and love it here. First, the office is clean, great and easy parking, and the front office staff is always super friendly and welcoming. They offer you a water every time and during checkout, sometimes they offer little things like chapstick or something like that too. As for Dr. Farhang, she is amazing and a perfectionist and I'm able to speak of her because I've had to do major dental work recently and it has been a very long process. With that, she takes the time to do the work correctly, answers all my questions, helps reassure me that I am in good hand by taking the time to show me what she is doing and explaining 'why'. Her assistants are great too because they are also very nice and caring! Lastly, I cannot say enough about my hygienist, Brooke...she is great. Brooke is detailed, speaks to you the entire time to ensure you are comfortable, not pushy and gentle on my teeth as well, love her! A+ Dentistry, My Story I grew up in a large family back in the late 50's and early 60's. My Dad worked hard, but going to the dentist as a teen usually meant getting a tooth pulled or something drastic. "Cleanings" were not a part of my schedule in the day. Once I took my first good job in my twenties, the company paid benefits so I could have inspections and later, "cleanings at intervals". Found a great father/son dental practice and stayed with them because I felt they were taking care of me. Moved to the north side of Atlanta and was fortunate to find another "good" dentist. I remember, they were all impressed how long my crowns had survived at that point. Moved once again into a different apartment and found a dentist that was conveniently close by. I was getting regular cleanings, but was abruptly told my teeth were "failing" and then, on another appointment, that I should have a wisdom tooth pulled... it wasn't bothering me and I thought, time to find a new dentist. At this point, I'm 65, with a few crowns and not toothless like my parents. I was mailed a flyer from A+ Dentistry, and as it happened, they were close by to where I live now. I made an appointment for an exam. Yes, sticker shock at all the work I needed done... but so many years of neglect and not knowing what was lacking in my daily dental habits was now in my face, literally! The doctor spent more time explaining the problems and options than all of my previous dentists put together. Typically, dentists will shake their head disapprovingly and decide for you what the corrective measure(s) will be. The staff at A+ Dentistry are all top drawer. The facility is immaculate and they are all professional. My hygienist said, "First we need to get your gums healthy, then the rest comes after that." She insisted I start using an electric tooth brush. At first I thought, what?, then imagined myself wearing dentures. I bought one and it took a little getting used to, but my mouth has never been this clean. I have read some of the other negative posts on the costs, but frankly, if they had taken care of their teeth in the first place they wouldn't need all the work anyway. My dental plan is not the greatest, though the A+ Dentistry staff all worked as hard to keep me in the driver's seat making go forward decisions as they did actually working on the issues. In fact, they found some ways I could save costs by changing up the sequences and timing of my personal repair plan. There is no comparison on the quality and knowledge of the staff, the level of technology they employ, and how much I am now motivated to improve my daily habits because they take the time to educate you on every visit, something no other dentist I've gone to has ever done. I just couldn't have found a better dentist at this point in my life. This is a first-class provider. Not the cheapest in my history, but then, I always got what I payed for... I trust that they have my best interests at heart and you will too. read more

Everyone was very friendly but I felt like I was at a used car dealership. Everything was an up-sell. $30 mouthwash recommended, appointment for filling cavities had to be paid for in advance. Lots of "cavities" found that no other dentist had ever found before. And they provide lots of photo backup to make it look believable. I felt scammed. I had my first visit at A+ Dentistry this morning. I was a little nervous because although I'm a dental hygienist myself I had gone way too long for a cleaning and check up. Brooke J took my xrays and cleaned my teeth. She was amazing and made me feel so comfortable. Sometimes in the health field we take care of others before we take care of ourselves. Brooke was so sweet and professional and never made me feel bad about neglecting my own dental health. After a superb cleaning and more intraoral photos she had Dr Haley come in to do the exam. Again what a wonderful experience! She was so sweet and non judgemental about my own neglect but instead showed and explained in detail what dental work I need to have done. I was thoroughly impressed with both Brooke and Dr Haley (not to mention everyone at the front desk and the sweet assistants) and would highly recommend this awesome office to everyone! read more

Had an awful experience with the doctor and the staff. One needs to be extremely cautious about their procedures and estimates if he or she has no other options but to get the service from this place. They don't provide a comprehensive estimate, is it not their practice (that is what they claim), prior to treatment. Lots of hidden and unnecessary procedures imbedded in their treatment plans. I felt like I was robbed. On the first day of my visit I insisted on getting a full estimate of the treatment that they were proposing, not only I didn't get the full estimate but I got a piece of paper with some procedure codes had written on it. At the end, I found out that I was charged for many procedures that I was not aware of. They have no sense of transparency, it is all about your money and how they will get it from you. read more

Worst experience of my life! The dentist/owner is RUDE and VERY aggressive! She makes it seem as though the minute you walk out the door that all of your teeth will fall out. She starts IMMEDIATELY telling you about THOUSANDS of dollars worth of work you will need on your teeth. When you question her or tell her you want another opinion, She goes crazy, telling you how awful your teeth are and how that you have bad oral hygiene. She uses what I would define as bullying tactics to get you to agree to the treatment AND then tries to get you to pay for them immediately. If you like being shamed and charged for work you don't need, this is the place for you. My oral hygiene has been great, I was almost 45 before I had my first cavity and haven't ever had anyone mention gum disease until my visit here. Due to this dentist, I now have dark areas around a tooth she was "working on". Per 2 other dentist I have seen, the dark area is due to DAMAGE that was caused. Your first visit you will be seen by one of the owner/dentist for initial visit. after your cleaning you will be shamed and guilt tripped by the owner/dentist into signing an exorbitant treatment plan before you leave the building. I signed a treatment plan, and was almost done with all my treatments when the account manager pulled me into her office and wanted to revise my treatment plan which was a $500.00 increase difference. After much pressure from the accountant I still refused to sign and i could tell she was not happy. Next day a called the receptionist Colleen and she told me my balance which reflected my first treatment plan so I ask her to send me a copy of that plan which she did not. Weeks pass by so I call Colleen again and obviously she had been schooled by the account manager because her sweet demeanor shamefully became condescending and lying about our conversation weeks prior. I gave it one star because after the initial visit with the owner/dentist, I had a good experience with a different dentist and hygienist, and I feel sad for them that they have to work for a money grubbing business. read more
