Our first interaction with A-Z Driving School was with Erin, she was very helpful and thoroughly went over all the options of service they provide. The prices are fair, they offer continuously flexible session times, and their cars are clean and recent models. Something has definitely changed over the past 10 years. My child was not as prepared. My husband and I had to do most of the training. We were expecting A-Plaza to teach/guide my child in the following skills: parallel parking, reversing, etc. Basics- we were hoping they would reinforce what we were also teaching. My child stated they did not help with those skills. My child was to drive wherever the instructor suggested- straight driving. Another note- instructors would be late as well. I canceled right away in the DMV parking lot with 24 hour notice. They tried to charge me $189 for the cancellation! The reason I booked the lesson before him passing the test was because their availability is very poor. I didn't want my son to wait several weeks to get behind the wheel once he passed the test and the day after his test was their only availability for weeks, so I had to take it. I'm cancelling the 6 hour driving lessons and going with a local company down the street that has better availability and better customer service. I'm not giving this company any more of my money.
