My newly…read more4-year-old and almost 6-year-old kids are on their second session of classes here, and I've loved all of their teachers so far. There doesn't seem to be a majorly competitive/pressure-filled vibe here at all. There are kids there who have never taken a class, and some you can tell who have been doing gymnastics since they started walking, but everyone is given the same amount of time and attention. When a child masters a new skill, they get to ring a bell and everyone there claps for them---it's really cute and a great way to build self esteem in these kiddos. Classes are fairly inexpensive, as well.

Every Wednesday and Thursday from 10-11:30 a.m. is the drop-in time for young kids, ages 0 to 6. It's $5 per child. Kids are free to try everything that the gymnastics studio has to offer: trampolines (there are several in several sizes), foam block pits, swinging ropes, balance beams, uneven bars, soft mats, ramps, balls -- it's all so fun. It's a great place to come when the weather is cold and your child needs to run around and burn off energy. The drop-in time is especially great for toddlers and preschoolers. This is a pretty big gymnasium, so there's lots of space to move around. It can get crowded at certain times (like during Christmas break and spring break), but there's plenty of space and it never feels super crowded. They play fun Disney music, too!

We had outgrown the tiny YMCA program and were looking for a place to tumble. My daughter has learned technique, leadership, team work, and most importantly sisterhood. To think she was too afraid to step on the mat at the first practice, now she's a tumbling machine. It's a great place. I signed up my son who is 4 and he learned some tennis techniques throughout the summer. Only negative is that as the only black family out there the kids tennis program manager Melissa told me that toddlers younger than 3 can't play but allowed her friends kids to do it while watching my daughter sit on the sideline and couldn't play the entire summer. Is zero Star possible - Avoid If You're a Mom or Value Basic Decency…read more I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this gym was so disappointing, it deserves to be shared. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this place is not welcoming to mothers or families. I came in hoping to prioritize my health and set a positive example for my kids, but instead, I was met with eye-rolls, dismissiveness, and an unprofessional attitude from the staff. Not only was I turned away for bringing my child--despite their so-called "family-friendly" policy--but the tone and behavior of the employees were downright rude. No empathy, no explanation, just a cold, "You can't be here." One worker even muttered something under their breath as I left, which tells you everything about how little they value their members, especially moms trying to balance fitness and parenting. Gyms should be places that empower people, not shame or exclude them. If you're a mom, or honestly just someone who expects respect and courtesy, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. There are far better options that actually treat their members like people.

Erin is the instructor, and she is such a great motivator! She makes you feel right at home in her class, and makes sure that everyone knows that this is a judgment-free place where anyone can feel comfortable. These 1-hour classes are usually held in the Whitestown Municipal Complex, but sometimes they are held in other areas in town. Sign up is a breeze, on the PunchPass website which is linked to her Facebook posts. Erin is very thorough in her social media posts so that you can get all the information you need for her classes very easily. Schedules and locations of her classes are also posted to her Facebook page. She also has text and email that you can sign up for so that you never miss a class or a bit of DanceFit news. Don't feel intimidated by not knowing the dance moves right away. Just move at your own page, and most importantly, have fun!
