I usually stop in weekdays and Michelle helps me out. She's super friendly and makes me feel like a valued customer. men's shirts dry cleaned and ironed are cheap because they machine iron them and break all the buttons. they will replace the buttons but charge you "that's why it's cheap". if you want them hand preaaed it would be $15 dollars instead of 5. or you can replace 2 to 3 buttons every time you pick up a load how unprofessional I can iron them myself read more

I recently brought a dress in to be altered for my son's upcoming wedding. I was told the dress would be ready to pick up on Monday, May 2. I came in to pick it up on that day and found that it was just basted and the plan was to check on the work and the finish the hem. I was leaving for the wedding in NC on the 4th and was concerned about time, the manager was very defensive with her response and made me feel like this was my fault. I was very cordial in our exchange and not angry , but found her harsh and snippy. I picked up the dress the next day and found that I was missing a spank that had been in the garment bags with the dress. When I called to see if it was there, the manager got very defensive and told me I had left it in the dressing room and she had no idea whose it was. I get that, but again I just was inquiring and felt she was super defensive and rude. The alterations were fine, but I will not return based on the managers attitude. read more

How dare I bring this woman a Halloween costume!! Foolish me for thinking that because I had brought other costumes here in the past with no issues, that this simple onesie would be a breeze. But no, how wrong I was. I walked in and when I didn't recognize this seamstress I simply asked if she could shorten the torso on a store bought costume. I was immediately berated by her with all the things that had to be done in order to shorten this costume. (which I was already aware of since I had this done before) She rattled off prices at me like an auctioneer. I could barely get a couple words out. She just kept barking over me. She then quoted me this exaggerated price, which I would have happily paid to support a small business in town if she didn't sass me like I was beneath her. If she couldn't or wouldn't do this, a simple "I'm sorry I can't help you" would have sufficed. Instead she treated me like I was insulting her for having this costume in her presence. I called and spoke with manager after picking up a dress to ask about a guarantee as I couldn't find that listed on their website. I was met with "It depends." My tip: Always ASK and CONFIRM the price. We were expecting to pay $18 and upon arrival it was $30. This was harshly told that it was MY mistake for not paying close enough attention to their slip. Okay - fine. Lesson learned and wouldn't have been a big deal if the work wasn't so poorly done. They needed to take in the dress and adjust the shoulder. Where they took it in it's all bunched up. Some of the sequins fell on and other were actually sewn into the seam. When my daughter tried on the dress the gathering is obvious. I was very kind through the call and tried to explain but the manager was very abrupt, continually interrupting me with a harsh tone. I told her that I was speaking to her kindly and with respect and asked that she do the same for me. She again told me I was wrong and that she's a very nice person. They did offer to fix it but honestly I don't want to go back after the way I was treated so if they're interested in seeing the quality of work they put out they can look at the photos I've attached and decide if they are proud of it. read more

The ladies who work here are so friendly and helpful. I've brought a variety of items here to get tailored - a bridesmaids dress, flower girl dress, jeans, and 2 bras. I'm a certified bra fitter and occasionally need to have a customers bra altered, this is the only place I'll trust to get the job done right. My 2-year-old and I were recently in my brothers wedding and we both needed dress alterations. It's worthy to note that I was 7 months pregnant at the wedding so alterations had to be done as last minute as possible. My dress had to be ordered from the bridal salon about 6 sizes too big to accommodate my growing belly, needless to say the proportions of the rest of the dress were ENORMOUS and there was a lot of work to be done in a short amount of time. I was really nervous about it (and the anticipation of a huge alteration bill), but in the end I was thrilled with how the dress fit and my wallet was very happy :) Great service AND fair prices? This is a win in my book! read more

Just took my sons 1st communion outfit to be pressed. This had to be the worst job ever. I even had them dry clean it first so that we would be sure there were no creases. They still have creases and are more wrinkly than when I dropped them off. Will never go here again. read more

This place was recommended by True Religion at the Wrentham Outlets for hemming. I bought a pair of TR jeans and I needed to get them hemmed because I'm not a "Hollywood star" and TR doesn't make shorter lengths. I was really nervous because I paid over $100 for the jeans but I had to get them hemmed fast on a Saturday before I went back to school. It was $12 for the reattached hemming and $2 for the rush. I had to call to ask for them earlier but they were already done! It costs $30 at Nordstrom's according to the cashier so I think this place is a steal! It was a busy day but my only complaint is that the woman barely looked at my hem. I put them on and she folded them under roughly and put two pins in one leg. I got even more scared then because it didn't seem like they'd do a good job. I asked for them a little longer because I hadn't washed them and they did a perfect job. The jeans are a little long in flats but that's fine with me because it gives them more versatility. The hem is great. With designer jeans, they cut off the original hem and reattach it to the bottom. You can't even tell it's hemmed except for on the sides if you hold it up to your face. They also serged the fabric on the other side so it won't fray. You can see all the people sewing in the back so you know they do it there. This place was professional, did a great job, and I'd definitely go back. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE....I had been going here for a while and I brought in a shirt that i just purchased 2 weeks prior to get 1 button replaced and came back a week and a half later to find out they did not have my shirt, they informed me that it may be at their other location so I dropped more cloth off and returned in two weeks to pick up everything again to find out they still do not have my shirt and this time around the person (this girl was pleasant and seemed to know what she was doing) had no idea what was going on so she took my name and number and said she would call back in a few days to let me know what was going on. I heard NOTHING so i called back a week later and yet AGAIN they had no idea what i was talking about , i left my contact derails AGAIN so they could habe the owner\manager call me back to see whatcwe can do to resolve this. HEARD NOTHING BACK FROM THEM. I called again today to be asked what it was about, what the shirt looked like and they asked me my contact details and was also told that after 30 days they are not responsible for lost items. read more

Would never return here. I had a dress that was supposed to be altered and steamed for my son's wedding. While there, I specifically asked for the bow to not be untied. When I went to pick up the dress, the bow was untied which they claimed happened during steaming, although the dress was not yet steamed. I was to return in a day or two to pick up the dress. The manager was not there and did not call as she claimed she would. The dress below was left untied and this was what they said was steamed. They said nothing could be done and it was just a bow. I took the dress to several other businesses who helped repair what they could, who said the dress wasn't completed on the inside, seams had popped and they used red thread. When I called and spoke to the manager, she was incredibly rude and disrespectful and said to YouTube tying a bow and this was not in a tailors speciality to tie a bow. Macy's tried to help fix their mistake but was unable to. In the end, David's Bridal who did not fix the dress or sell me the dress, fixed the bow and completed the job. read more

My husband brought his two Burberry shirts for dry cleaning along with a pair of ripped jeans to be stitched. When we got home and opened the clothing there were stains put on both shirts and the pants didn't get stitched!! When I went back for fixing the woman working was extremely rude, wouldn't let me speak, and said the stains were there before he brought it in! Horrible costumer service. Pick a different tailor. I brought three suit jackets there based on a recommendation of a friend. All three needed sleeves shortened and one had a fold of fabric behind the collar that needed to be tailored. They did ok on the sleeves, although the buttons seemed to be put back very hastily on one of the jackets ( fabric was bunched up around the buttons). The other jacket that needed the back of the collar tailored was the biggest issue. First of all the tailor didn't even take any measurements, just eyeballed it. The first time I picked up the jacket it looked like nothing had even been done to it. Picked it up the second time (after she eyeballed it again) and it was no better. I had a horrible experience here today. I just wanted a pair of pants hemmed two inches and the woman who waited on me was so rude and disrespectful. She argued with me and treated me like I was a child. I am a grown professional working in the client service industry for over 21 years and I have to say this was probably the worst interaction I have ever had in a place of business. Needless to say I did not leave the pants and found another place that was happy to take them. She is rudely open the door and said they close, I asked why the the door say closed at 630pm. I would never bring my stuffs or recommend anyone there. I dropped off 3 skirts to be hemmed. We knew we wanted 3 1/4 inches hemmed before we went. I still had my daughter try on a skirt while we were there. Three times I told them how much to hem. They never wrote anything down and put a few pins on the skirt. One week later I went to pick up the skirts at 1:45PM. They said the skirts wouldn't be ready until 3:00PM even though they had the skirts for one week. After I picked up the skirts the next day and came home, I measured the hem to see they only hemmed 2 inches not 3 1/4. I tried this place because they have 3 locations and figured they knew what they were doing. I would never go there again as they are extremely unorganized. read more

If it was possible to give this place zero stars, I would. I called ahead to ask if they did wedding dresses & was told yes. I attempted to make an appointment but was told they don't do that. I went there anyway because I had a good experience with prom dresses there about 8 years ago. I attempted to get my wedding dress altered here 4 months before my wedding date. My mother also tried to get her dress altered. While the seamstress was pinning my mothers dress, she asked when the wedding was, and when I told her 4/3.5 months away, she suddenly became extremely rude. She said "I'm not doing this" and just walked away, leaving my mother with pins still in her dress! The owner argued with me for 10 minutes as I confusedly stated every bride I knew and every website I saw said to get multiple alterations and begin 3-4 months before your wedding. Eventually I stopped responding to her and just looked at my phone while she continued arguing at me. At this point my bridesmaids had arrived- they had also been planning on getting their alterations there! I had to wait for my mother to change out of her dress, so I awkwardly stood near the door while they talked about me and how they couldn't believe I was there to get alterations. What a shock I was there to engage them in business that they advertise that they do!! I left trying not to cry. Thank you for that memory, A plus tailors!! All I can say is thank god they hadn't already permanently altered any of our dresses. I was a repeat customer and was treated horribly. They have permanently lost me as a customer. I still cannot understand why they would turn away a job that would have made them hundreds of dollars! read more
