I've taken my four legged furry baby to Quality grooming a few times now and I must say I'm pleased with the amount of service he receives each and every time he's been there, the staff is awesome and the owner is a master in her craft and it shows. I will admit making an appointment was slightly more difficult than what I'm normally use to due to there hours of business and my work schedule, but being new to the city and after the horrible experience I had using petco's dog grooming salon in Vallejo, I figured it couldn't be that bad after all so I was patient and it payed off. My baby has a reoccurring first Saturday of the month appointment where he's pampered like the spoiled furry ball he is.. My wife and I are extremely satisfied, Louie is happy and we love the attention he gets after a visit to Quality.. read more

I took my pooch there once and it was a job well done. I've been trying to get back in for an appt but no one returns my calls. That is SO BAD for business. Even tho my last visit with them was great the fact that they won't return calls is making me seek pet grooming services elsewhere. Hopefully they will get better with answering and returning clients phone calls. read more

Have no idea if she does quality work because she stood me up on my appointment. Waited 20 minutes, still the store wasn't open. So, went home, waited an hour, called, left a message wondering where she was, offered to reschedule, and 3 days later, still no call to apologize, reschedule. That is abysmal customer service. If she doesn't care about her clients, I'm guessing she won't be in business too long. read more

Yelp, why must you constantly mislead me! +1 star because my dog came out looking great +1 star because she was a nice lady and she was sweet to my dog while I was there -1 star because this location is the epitome of GHETTO: bums sittin on the side walk, group of guys chillin near the store smellin like they havin a good time with Mary Jane, hollering at you while you walk in and out of the shop. I had a "baby on board" sign on my car assholes! I almost drove away because i was so scared i was going to get jumped (but then again it's vallejo, what a surprise). And the inside of the store is not well kept at all! Hair everywhere, dirty floors, so unorganized & goodness knows if she cleans her tools. Why do I question that? Because when I checked my dog the next day he had skin rashes all over his body. -1 star because although my dog looked pretty, when I took my poor baby home and took a closer look, nails were cut too short and left to bleed, no sign of styptic powder to stop the bleeding and razor burns all over, and she cut a piece of skin off under one leg and neglected to mention it. She just handed my dog over and said nothing. -1 because she sometimes doesn't answer her phone and when she did she was rude over the phone. I called to make sure she was open as I sit in front afraid to go in bc she still had her closed sign up and bc of the said group of men staring at me through my window. And she goes "uh yea I'm open, I'm in the store" and I saw her rude body language through her window with her hand on her hip and waving it around like I'm the idiot with the closed sign up. I can say that I could tell she was a nice lady, well in person, and she's good at what she does with dogs that don't move, but overall I just didn't feel comfortable with the entire experience. I've gotten my dog groomed by many people from LA to the BAY and this was by far the worst experience all around. I should've just given 1 star, but i see her potential. If she would just move her location, clean up a bit, invest in a business phone (not a cell phone), maybe a cash register, not her pocket so she can give the right change, and a real receptionist, not her boyfriend whose friends hang out outside and scare away customers I think she could be really successful. I came here bc of good reviews, obviously I should've known better because it's Vallejo. Making the further drive to Napa next time. It's not worth it to not feel safe :/ read more

I am sooo disappointed that Angie's shop is in such a scary neighborhood. I took my dog there almost a year ago and Angie gave him the best haircut he's ever had. Seriously people, Angie is a real artist. These photos on her site attest to that. However, I was actually afraid to leave my little dog there. She doesn't lock the door and the people loitering on the block are getting high, drinking, jiving, etc. See Lyn's comments below. What if some idiot opened the door and grabbed a little dog? Little dog's are easily sold and the dope fiends along the block are hardly trustworthy. I have tried every other groomer around - even gone into Emeryville and I live in Benicia. All of them have been a huge disappointment and NO comparison to Angie. Why, why, why doesn't she relocate to a better area? She could raise her prices and get rich - she's that good. Angie, if you read this, could you let those of us who appreciate your talent know why you don't relocate???? PLEASE! read more

A friend recommended Angie and I just took my Yorkie to her for the first time today. I will definitely be back. Angie and her receptionist are friendly and accommodating. My puppy looks adorable and was not at all stressed when I went back to pick him up. They have an open area in the shop where your dog can hang out with other friendly dogs rather than being stuck in a crate. This is a one groomer shop and because she is so good they book up quickly. You may have to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment but she is totally worth it. Just book in advance and you won't have a problem. read more

Angie is amazing!! She is so good with our dogs! They all 3 love going down there. Our Bichon Friese goes on a regular basis because of the type of coat he has. When I take "Benny" down to get groomed, I also bring our 2 other little dogs. Angie lets them hang out while "Benny" is getting groomed! She is such an awesome Groomer! I see other people who have complained about the neighborhood her shop is located in (I live a few blocks over and our neighborhood is really not a drug infested gangland!! Benicia Rd is a busy street, but it's not dangerous or scary!!). And I completely disagree with the negative comments about Angie. She has always been wonderful with the dogs and with us. I can tell you that we have been nothing but extremely pleased with Angie's work and her love of our animals. She is the Best and there is no other groomer for our fur babies!! We love you Angie!!! My husband took our dog to get a haircut, bath, and nails trimmed. It took about an hour and our dog looks amazing! The shampoo that she used smelled awesome on the dog. this place is great! very close to where i live, the service was awesome (they answered every time i called i dont know what happened with everyone else) and they are literally the ONLY place in town that grooms guinea pigs! i had just adopted 3 that were in really poor shape, and angie had them looking great by the time she was done. its was very reasonable priced, my piggies were treated so lovingly (guinea pigs are prey animals and spook easily, but she did really well with them) and everyone i met there was really friendly and nice. i loved that all the dogs there were roaming freely around with each other instead of locked away in tiny cages like you sometimes see. couldnt recommend this place enough! read more
