WOW. I stopped in to get my german shepherd puppy groomed - waited for about 10 minutes while the manager sat there on her phone. I waited, and then I immediately LEFT as soon as I saw her yelling at one of the employees, who was actually very sweet! If this filthy looking shop has a mean bully manager who is nasty to her employees, how will she treat our beloved animals??! No way, I will entrust my boy to them. Furthermore, the music was blasting so loud that I don't know how any scared puppy could feel relaxed and safe. I hope the owner is able to read this, and I will most certainly repost this message on review sites, to warn others about this so-called "spa". It also has a bad smell as soon as I walked in and everythihg looked dirty. Just so unprofessional and unclassy. I will never take my precious fur baby to an unhinged groomer like this. Manager was an uncaring, nasty woman with a chip on her shoulder. I feel very sorry for the employees working there, and the other pups who have to be scared of that chaotic environment. I do NOT recommend this facility to anyone who has a sweet, anxious or scared fur baby that they want treated with nothing but compassion and dignity. Fire the manager and clean the facility. We brought our older dog in after hearing about The Paw Spa from a Samoyed owner at a local park and all I can say is our days of home grooming are over! When we picked up our boy he looked fantastic and was so so happy! He was showing off how good he looked and felt. With the cooler weather this summer, and our boy's age and arthritis, we haven't bathed and groomed him at home as much as we'd like as we groom outdoors and prefer 90+ degrees so he doesn't get chilled or his arthritis aggravated. So the old boy's coat was a bit impacted and needed a good professional grooming. The Paw Spa gave him 2 treatments of deshedding conditioner then blew out the impacted fur. When we got home our boy was dancing and prancing all day just running around showing off. And for 2 days he would stand next to us for us to pet him - I think he was showing off and letting us enjoy his fully deshedded coat and soft silky fur. A week later and he's still walking up to strangers to let them enjoy his fresh, clean coat. The staff at The Paw Spa were nice at drop off and especially friendly when we picked up our boy (he loves charming folks and wins over everybody). As our old boy needs to meet new people every day or he gets very grumpy his clean soft coat draws everybody who sees him to pet him and be charmed by him. Our clean boy is getting so many new friends we haven't heard a grumpf or grumble or complaint in the week since the grooming. So, so nice for us! We're planning on becoming regulars and will be bringing both dogs in the future for regular grooming. One funny thing is the way we tell these 2 dogs apart is the color of their heads, dad is darker. Well, after dad's grooming he had lightened to match his son's color and for a week we couldn't tell them apart. But, this breed is known to change color often, and after a week he's starting to darken again. read more

I normally come here and never have a problem but this last time he just doesn't look groomed as usual. There is a significant amount of hair in and on his ears with a sticky knot in his ear. I would hate to think my dog was only shaved on his body just cause that's the obvious visual. But overall just doesn't even looked groomed at all. read more

I've taken my dogs to the Paw Spa for over 14 years. I initially took them there because the price was very reasonable, though the price has doubled since. Robin does a really good job grooming dogs. But her interactions with my dogs can be off-putting at times, to where my kids would question why I continue to patronize the Paw Spa. My last visit to the Paw Spa was the last straw. Sadly, I won't be bringing any of my pets here. Robin charged me double without warning, knowing our senior dog had special needs. This was not the first time for her. Robin basically penalized me because two of her workers called out and she had a hard day. I said nothing. I paid, and I left. That experience did not sit well with me. read more

If you don't care for customer service and just want a place for your dog to get groomed, then this is the place for you. You would think, as fellow dog lovers, we'd be courteous to one another, but this wasn't the case. I've taken my dog here multiple times, and I've had an okay-experience every time. It usually takes a few hours for him to be finished, but I was told I was going to get a call. This grooming appointment, however, was taking a bit longer than expected and I wanted to check to see what was going on. When I walk in, I was told that he wasn't done in a tone that I did not expect. I'm not sure if these ladies were having a bad day, but I did not do anything to warrant this behavior. I am so so happy!!!! We rescued a pup may 12 and she was in need of a grooming. Hair was matted up and just needed some TLC. During COVID19 I was running into so many issues finding someone who had any appointments. Everyone was so friendly and got us in within 2 weeks. We brought our girl in and again she's a rescue so she's scared of everything still. She was terrified when I left but by the time I picked her up she was soooo happy and calm and looked so amazing. We started bringing our Samoyed here about a year ago on the recommendation of some other Sammy owners. Samoyeds are super fluffy but can't be shaved, and some groomers make that awful mistake. Robin laughed when I confirmed with her on the phone that they wouldn't do that - she was super knowledgeable about what this type of dog needs. She also warned me that because he's got such a thick coat it would be about a 3 hour appt, and pretty much every time we've been here (maybe 10 times now) it's been 3 hours on the nose. She also takes the time to carefully pull out foxtails and always gives him a cute bandana :) She and her staff are super sweet to our dog and also very easy to make appointments with on the phone. This place is a Mom and Pops place. Small nothing fancy. But its the love that goes with the service. The lady "I think owner" she is firm with my dog at time sounds mean...But not at all my dogs is to spoiled and do as she wants. The lady had help me with some issues i had, she always gives me good advice and i always end up going back. $25 bucks to groom my dog and 40 to Cut and groom is not bad at all....It might be a small not fancy looking place but my dog gets a great treatment....And i am all about my dog.... I took my dog ophelia in for the first time for a nail trim, something I can't do because she is so squirmy and just hates it. Very unhappy--brought my dog in as a walk in to get his nails trimmed and not only did they cut two nails too short and make him bleed, which I know can happen especially with dark nails, they weren't very concerned about it distressing him. I wasn't able to be back there with him and though they were faster than most places it's obvious why--the nails are very raggedy and some obviously hardly cut at all. I used to use this place exclusively because I was able to drop my girl off and pick her up after work. A few years back I would call to make an appointment and the owner would not return my calls. When I finally went in she said she didn't want to work on my dog anymore because she was too much work. I took her on monthly to ensure that she didn't mat or get too fluffy. I finally got ahold of her and the LAST time I dropped my dog off she was rude and judgemental for no reason. A friend of mine also had a similar experience. Now I look like a liar! 5 minutes ago you just tried to eat your vet and his receptionist! Very unhappy. Brought our large dog in to have his nails clipped. Weren't allowed to stay with the dog. Behind the wall all we could hear was the owner yelling at our dog and calling him names like "retard" "stupid" "idiot" etc. By the noise we could tell our dog was in great distress! By the time she was done the nails had hardly been shortened. We just paid and got out of there. Don't know about shampoos, etc. But we would NEVER go back nor recommend this place to anyone. read more
