The staff is very accommodating and they let us go inside the building with less wait time as expected. There was a tight security check in process. We were seated right away, entertained while waiting , audience seats have good views of the beautiful set, huge stage space for the entire production crew , and it has sufficient lighting. Everyone knows how long the taping will last and all was grateful for the free pizza and water as dinner treat. The cast were very friendly and we ended the evening with happy experience. Definitely coming back if given another chance.

Free parking…read morewas provided on site. 1iota handled the ticketing and audience check-in process quite efficiently. Both the studio and audience holding area were at a comfortable temperature. Bathrooms were one of those fancy trailer bathrooms, that I did not use, but people who did use it seemed to be impressed. Unlike other show tapings that I've been to this taping had a DJ in addition to the usual audience warm-up guy (Joey Kola). It made a big difference in terms of keeping the audience energized and engaged. A few games (name that song, singing to a song) were played as well with $25 gift cards to various stores as the prizes. The whole experience lasted 5 hours so the audience was given pizza, water and candy. The cast and crew were friendly and even offered to answer questions from the audience during the breaks. At the conclusion of the taping Kevin James signed autographs and took pictures with fans.

I've also never enjoyed the recording process more than at MEI Studio. Conveniently located just blocks from the Westbury stop on the LIRR Engineer Anthony makes you feel comfortable and at ease and is truly interested in helping you complete your project and will work hard until you get the best possible product. I've done simple singer-songwriter projects there to full albums with full bands in all genres. Never been more satisfied.

This place is not like it used to be since they changed owners. I'm very disappointed with how I've been treated. I'm just very appalled that the owner treats his customers this way. The owner wouldn't let me rebook my time since I was unable to cancel within the 48 hour period. I was willing to rebook for any day, but he wouldn't budge. So I was charged 84 dollars and didn't recieve any service. I was going there every week for the past month, and tried to rebook any day for next week. He refused... He talked down to me, belittled me over the phone and took 84 dollars for no service. He was inflexible and lost my business permanently. I've been coming here consistently for many years, this happens to be the first time i had to cancel. I was willing to reschedule any day within the week, but he was unwilling to work with me. Each week he greets us and sets up the mics and sound in of his 4 studios. The place is fantastic. The sound doesn't leak out from one studio to the next. It is a great vibe as many musicians in Long Island rehearse here. The studios are well equipped with stools, mics, drum sets, keyboard stands, amps and a digital equalizer for the vocals. There have been times when I have forgotten a chord or power supply and Mike has gone out of his way to help me and literally "save the day"! I have to say the place is perfect for our needs and many of the working musical stage groups of Long Island. Congrats to Mike and his professional staff for a well run operation!!
