Anyone who has ever moved knows that, of course that would happen that week! Fortunately, we found Zohr on Yelp and it was a mixed bag but ended up working pretty well. The bolt was discovered on a Saturday and we couldn't get anyone out until Monday around lunchtime. Not a huge issue as we have two cars and could ride it out, as long as they were on time... More about that in a sec. They were on the ball and said they could likely patch it, but got the tire size in case they needed to replace it on the spot. Their idea is genius, by the way. They'll come to you wherever and remove your tire and get it all fixed up or replaced, saving you the danger of driving on a wonky tire. They rescheduled us for Monday evening which didn't work with our closing/moving schedule, and called to have it at the original time. They didn't show during the window, and we had to call more than a few times to confirm they were still coming. Definitely frustrating to deal with, and I was ready to go to Plan B, but fortunately they ended up not being too late (about two hours after the window). My frustrations faded once they got someone en route; they became very responsive, communicative and let us know exactly when they'd be there. When they arrived, they said that since the bolt was in the tread they could plug it and be done in 15-20 minutes. Really grateful because we need a whole new set of tires on this car sometime soon, but would be a bummer to buy one and then have to buy a set again. Their tech was friendly and quick, very efficient, and the price was fair (I want to say around $85 out the door). They were a bit confused with the Yelp check in offer of 20% off, but I'm not sweating it too much. All in all, I was not the happiest camper the way it was going around appointment time, but they stepped up and totally redeemed themselves! Would use them again, but hopefully won't have to.

Price advertised for tire repair is $45 and was quoted a price of $189.00!! Don't bother to make a call to these folks if you are in a jam.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!!!…read more Stick to keeping your hands on wheels bc alternators isn't your strong point. I will be taking action against you and your LLC on 06.17.26 i asked dirty hands on wheels if he could repair my car. he said sure. I asked if he has done this type of work, he said yes. the alternator was needing to be replaced. day 1 it took 5.5 hours to have my alternator removed however it was removed. I took the alternator to have it rebuilt day 2 it took 5 hours. dirty hands on wheels was running behind and was bringing a little one. I said no problem. I can understand. the baby was crying which I totally understand. Today the alternator was installed however i wondered how the mechanic was going to be able to focus on putting my car back together and keep an eye on his toddler. there was an incident at the location of where my car broke down. it was the feds arresting an employee. during this intense altercation instead of the mechanic working and focusing on my car he runs towards the altercation involving the feds. once he saw their guns he came back towards my car. finally he said he needed to put his child to bed. I was very understanding and said ok. Granted my car has not been put back together. Day 3. he still working on my car and putting the serpentine belt back on. So the mechanic kind of just sat there at my car looking under the hood. all this time I'm thinking is every thing OK. finally I saw the mechanic putting up his tools but my car is NOT repaired. He meaning the owner of Dirty Hands on Wheels stated that he could NOT finish the job. He wasn't able to put the serpentine belt on. i was very upset it comes to find out that Dirty Hands on Wheels LLC was in over his head. he took apart a lot of things that didn't need to be removed being the oil filter and didn't put the radiator fan back in place. the actual radiator had dents in it from trying to remove the alternator I was unable to find any mechanic that was willing to come behind the sloppy work performed by. Dirty Hands on Wheels this mechanic damaged my vehicle. he definitely didn't have the correct tools for the serpentine belt. After dealing with this I sold my car bc I couldn't find a mechanic willing to touch my car after this so called mechanic totally messed up my car. I wish he had NEVER touched my car

My preferred garage was open even if a lot of businesses were closed. Pro-Tow was also open and, as promised, they had a truck here in half an hour. The driver asked what was wrong and I told him my car wouldn't start. I thought it was the battery, but I had tried to jump-start it from my wife's car (which was parked right next to it in the garage) and he told me to hang on a sec. He went to his truck and came back with a mobile jump battery pack. He connected it and started my car right away and explained that cars like my wife's (a Lexus) have protections built in to prevent too much of a surge from going in or out or else their on-board computing systems could get fried. He said that I was never going to get enough of a charge from her car to jump mine. I thanked him profusely and asked what I owed him and he held up his hands and said "Nah. Don't worry about it. You have a nice day," got in his truck and drove off. I hope I never need a tow truck again (don't we ALL hope that?). But if I do, I am calling Pro-Tow.

I didn't catch the guy's name, but the customer service was awesome. He helped me jump my car, towed it, and went into the mechanic with me to find out where to park the car. I found it strange when they asked, in advance, for my credit card number but I was foolish enough to give this information to them. They told me that I should be towed within 30 minutes, and they quoted me a price of $150.00 (I only had to have them tow my car about 15 minutes away to a dealership close to where I was parked). After waiting over 2 hours for the tow a co-worker was able to give me a jump start that allowed me to drive to the local dealership. As I was driving, Shannon, at Overland Park Team Tow called me stating that the tow truck should be at my location withing 15 minutes. I told Shannon that I no longer needed the tow and I needed to cancel my request to be towed. Shannon asked me why I didn't need the tow, which is another red flag, what difference does it make that I no longer needed to be towed. Anyway, I told Shannon I no longer needed their services, the tow truck wasn't at my location when I canceled the service. Shannon stated that since I ordered the service I will be charged for a tow. How can this be? A service was not rendered, the tow truck was not at my location, they were still in route. Also, no one at Overland Park Tow Service explained when I arranged the tow service that I will be charged for a tow even if I canceled the service. Much to my surprise and anger I received a credit card statement and Overland Park Team Tow charged me $369.61, more than twice the quoted rate! I am not an attorney, but this is just outright fraud and an injustice. I hope people will be aware of these charlatans, these crooks. I learned an invaluable lesson; I hope I never offer my credit card number to a towing service before the company tows my car. I am just OUTRAGED!
