I had my mattress store there while I was moving for one month, just to come and find out that it was chewed up by mice and or rats, totally dissatisfied,The owners refused to pay for my new mattress and they were very rude and upset in my wife, never again. read more

I currently am using Safe 'N' Sound Self Storage and find this to be extremely reasonable and very clean. The storage units are all temperature controlled, under video surveillance 24/7, have gated access and the manager that works there is very friendly. U-Hauls are available for rent. read more

I used this storage facility for about 8 months while I was on deployment. When I returned to have the movers pack up my stuff during my move, I discovered that the roof had leaked all over my furniture causing hundreds of dollars worth of damage. The manager, Dave, took pictures and said that he would talk to the owner and get back to me about paying for damages. After weeks of not hearing from him, I called him. He told me that the owner had not been in, but he expected him in a couple days. I called back in a few days and he told me the same thing. This went on for a month before I had to threaten to talk with a lawyer to finally get a response. Dave told me that the owner had agreed to pay $260.00. Although this was at most half of the damages I incurred, I agreed to this since I am now stationed overseas and could actually do little about it. When the check finally came 4 and a half months after my initial discovery, it was only for $130.00. I agree with the other posts that if you are lucky enough to not have the roof leak all over your stuff, then this place is clean and reasonable, but I also agree that the owner/manager does seem sketchy and cannot be trusted. read more

My boyfriend and I rented a UHAUL pick up truck from here today, upon time to return the truck, we went to get gas as the contract stated we needed to and come to find out, we were rented a truck with a broken floater making the gas nozzle not be able to fit in the tank. We returned to the location and the woman (Rose) was extremely rude. She then gave us a screwdriver and instructed us to use the screwdriver to push it in to fill the tank. So we went to the nearest gas station and did as she said. Once we arrived for the second time, we waited for a good amount of time. She then continued to act unprofessional, and had a worse attitude and told us that we had not filled the tank enough, when we knew we did. The woman was trying to blame a new employee for the issues and told us she had only been there for 2 hours and we needed to more or less get over it. She proceeded to try to charge us for all these extra things which I then argued because of the horrible service and the principle that a truck with an issue shouldn't have been rented out. I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone I know, as the service was extremely poor and beyond time consuming. I also recommend that the company hire someone more customer service oriented and professional. read more

I have been using the facility for several years and think very highly of the service. Knowing there are retired Navy personnel on site gives me comfort that daily management is in good hands. Really doesn't deserve one star but had to to place this comment. I was quoted one price over the phone and when I got there I was told there is no such price as quoted. Even though the lady was very nice by giving me a discount she told me my contract would change once management gets there due to her not knowing how "set me up". When I was due nothing was done and no one knew of my situcation(no notes/comments on my account). I was told that the young lady messed up on other units as well and for me to have understanding and sympathy (while still set up to pay this high rate) Why should I show compassion for something that's not my fault. Errors/Mistakes especially due to the staff, sympathy should be shown to the CUSTOMER'S (for their inconvenience)! You cannot get in touch with the owners. The staff would rather take the beating and call/email them when you leave. As a result with having you leave with no solution and waiting on a call that will never come (unless your due) IF they have resolved the issue in the first place. I decided to go with this place for conveniency (1.3 miles away from where I live).but now I'd rather spend a little extra in gas to venture out for quality service. It's sad because I have no comfort in knowing my belongings reside here. I definitely will be leaving! Nice staff but no sense of organization read more
