On the way out the guy behind the counter politely asked what we were looking for and said they had a ton more at home. He said they had more at home than in the shop. I'm not sure if they are holding back for personal collection or if they are selling on eBay. Either way, it would nice to see some fresh titles in the store and weed out some of the tired stock that isn't moving.

The great thing about this bookstore it that anyone can shop and have their orders ship to them at home or students attending the college can have it picked up at the school. This is the number one recommended bookstore by professors to their students at the college because if you shop at the bookstore there is no way you can buy the wrong book or the wrong edition of books because whatever books are there that's what the professors are using. The bookstore also allows you to rent a book and this is a good thing because if it is a book that is not in your major and you feel like you would have no need for it in the future you can rent it and save money. As everyone knows, buying text books can be really expensive and to help with that, Siena College bookstore sells previously used books that are in good condition to students to help save in the time of spending. Personally, the prices for text books are the same or maybe even better when students shop at Siena College bookstore than other online shopping site e.g. amazon, because as a student attending this college I don't have to pay for shipping and handling and I do not have to wait for it arrive, I just go to the bookstore and pick up whatever books is needed. If you walk in Siena College bookstore and looked at the price tags some might think that the cost of an item is too much but every season the bookstore has sale and the same high priced item are marked down to 75% at most. And to add, another great thing about this bookstore is that it does not just sell books but other things as well, such as clothes, snacks, school supplies and other personal items. The only downside is that the store is only opened on weekdays. So it is not always convient for students living on campus because if you want to buy something and its the weekends you can't. Overall, it is a great place to shop for books. I would recommend it to any students attending the college or others.
