The person that answered (Bobby) spent 30 minutes on the phone with me going through various options, and I text him photos from their IG page of arrangements that I wanted. I am so disappointed in the courage and boutonnière from Elegant Flowers! I paid $65 for the smallest flowers, there was no baby's breath until requested at pickup even though we requested it when we ordered and I believe had to pay extra for it! We had to take the whole set to Flowers and More where they made an entirely new courage within a few hours and then added to the boutonniere in order to make it look halfway decent for $45. We ordered this set a week in advance for prom!! Upon expressing our disappointment the staff person at Elegant Flowers tells us, "next time make sure to ask for larger flowers". Next time??? Ha ha--there will never be a "next time." I prefer to support local business but not when it is overpriced and below standard. read more

My experience with Elegant Flowers was severely disappointing. I ordered flowers two weeks in advance, and at that time, I spent 10 minutes explaining the importance of the event. It was a 95th birthday, and I ordered these flowers on my dad's behalf, as he attended this party. It was his first time meeting this group of people, and I explained that it needed to be a showstopper. I stressed that I wanted hight, drama, all premium flowers, and no filler. My budget was $150 (not including tax or delivery). I was assured they'd do something special, and that the designers took special care with big birthdays. To be sure, I called the day before the event to once again stress the importance of this bouquet and my request for all premium flowers and no filler. I repeated that I wanted drama, beauty and scale. I even asked if $150 was enough to cover the bouquet. They said it would be done, and they offered to text me a picture of the bouquet before it left the store. The picture arrived and the bouquet was absolutely mediocre. It was not particularly big, and it had daisy filler and green fillers. It was forgettable- not the show stopper I had requested twice. I immediately texted back asking them to change it, and it had already left for delivery. Why send a pic for approval if it had already left and they were unwilling to make it right? I felt like I was punched in the stomach. The salesperson assured me it looked bigger in person, but it didn't. And it wasn't what we requested. My dad trusted me to find a florist (the party was in Madera, and I paid extra for delivery because I thought I'd found the best designers in the area). He wanted to do something very special, and despite my efforts to communicate this, our requests were ignored. Further, Elegant only offered to pick up the bouquet Monday (party was on a Saturday) and drop off a replacement. I explained that everyone would be gone by Monday and it wouldn't matter. We had one chance to nail it- Saturday, and we were just severely disappointed. Out of the over $180 tab, I was refunded $75. This was no consolation as I essentially got what I paid for, and at the end of the day, the product was in stark contrast to what I ordered in my first phone call, and iterated in my day before check-in phone call. read more

I looked on their website and found that they had some lovely arrangements at reasonable prices, so ordered online. The website is a little outdated, but easy to navigate, and not so old that I didn't trust it was working or anything! I made 2 orders, one for each, and the whole process took less than 10 minutes. You can select from the arrangements on the website, customize a little and add options, and pick your delivery date. I wasn't sure how far out I'd have to plan, but there was a delivery slot for the following day so I took it. Delivery was $10. Since I had them sent directly I didn't see the final product, but trust it lives up to the photo on the website. Both bouquets arrived the next day, as scheduled, and I got a couple of delighted messages - both of the recipients seemed really pleased with the flowers.
