First off I used to come here often but I stopped because of the surprise upcharges that would magically appear when it came time to pay. I only returned to get a pedicure after almost 2 years of not coming here. My mom and I are going on vacation so we decided to get some pedicures. We were totally rushed! Our feet didn't even get a chance to soak! When I mentioned that I felt rushed, the nail tech got an attitude with me and gave me horrible service. The energy was unacceptable. I got gift certificate from this place, and I think is the worst nail service I ever had! To start as there working on my nails sitting upfront, to do my pedicure. They have me twisted to the right to do my toes. It was very uncomfortable. I didn't finish pedicure service, because my toes nails were not clean and file properly. Horrible establishment! I've been here three times. Each time I've received three services. Each time, they are inconsistent. Fill: I've been charged three different prices. Initially I thought it was because of my nail length. So this time, before I went, I cut my nails down. I was charged even more! They up-sale you on standard maintenance services like cutting your nails down. I also requested that my fill not be thick with acrylic. To which the tech responded by not fully coating the nail at all. I pointed it out and was blamed for requesting a thin coat. Pedicure: It took all of 12 minutes from start to finish. And again with the up-sale. She didn't bother to buff my toe nails. File lines are visible through the thick rich cobalt polish that I chose! My cuticles are rugged and the skin on the sides of my toes are mangled due to her plucking away with the cuticle remover (yet not REMOVING the damn cuticle)! Brow & chin wax: My brows are as thin as pencil markings. They're inconsistent and choppy. Were it not for the Benefit brow kit I keep on hand, I might have demanded that she put my brows right back where they came from. More than anything, the place is unsanitary! They use the same brow waxing tool and pedicure kits on everyone. The last visit, I payed close attention and noticed that there wasn't any sanitizing liquid used to soak tools. Same with the brow waxing. As for my chin, I ended up going to Whole Foods and purchasing a kit right after my service. The health department should look into this establishment! read more

Summary: Don't come here! A $30-50 service ended up being $72, without tip. 1. Inflated prices 2. Lack of transparency regarding their prices 3. No documentation provided to the customer for proof of service My #1 problem was lack of transparency. I am born and raised in LA and have gotten my nails done at various places and have never spent this much on a FILL for my acrylics. Today, I needed my nails done and had nowhere else to turn. They weren't too busy which I appreciated. When I walked in, I told the lady in front I needed a fill. One of the manicurists came to see what I needed. I showed her a picture and she said she could do it. When I sat down, I asked about how much she thought it would cost. She responded with she had to do it to see, which I thought was odd. While getting my nails done, there was a young lady behind me getting a pedicure. A regular pedicure with a design costs her $40, which she mentioned was an outrageous price. When finishing my nails I thought they were okay (I later found a hair stuck in the polish on one of my nails when I got home) and they really only took 30 minutes. She told me it was going to be $72! I asked her why. Her response was... I got multiple colors, I cut them down, and diamonds are $15. They are a cash only establishment and they do not have an ATM so I was asked to leave my phone as collateral and I had to go to the bank. When I came back I gave her the money and requested a receipt. Then she said no. I then responded that I needed a receipt for my records and she responded, "sorry, no". She didn't want to give me my money back or fix my nails after I confronted her about disliking the job she did! The lady who did my pedicure did it so quick it looks like something my five year old could have done for me with a much better attitude. Worst customer service you will ever experience at a nail salon. The manicurist "Amy" cut the plastic nails threw the acrylic powder on top and shaped the corners. That's it. In that order, NO trim of any kind. She didn't trim the top or made sure they were nice and even. Some nails where thin some were thicker. Just very careless. She was done in about 15 min. To top it off she was rude and aggressive. I'll definitely pay those extra $10-$20 somewhere else for better service and a better manicurist. read more

The first time I visited this shop, I was happy about my nails. They looked really nice. This time, this guy did my nails. When I first walked in the store, I was quoted $24 for chrome nails, when the guy finished the horrible job on my nails, he told me that I owed him $35. I was pissed but still paid and told her to never do that again. The man who barely spoke English, put a color on my nail that I didn't ask for but I told him to finish because I didn't want to be difficult. In the end my nails were done very rushed and sloppy. They looked better before he added color. It was bumpy abd he didn't fix it. Needless to say, I am very disappointing by his work and he will never touch my nails again. DO NOT COME HERE. I wish the lady (I believe her name is Kelly) would've just told me they were busy and come back. I came in for a pedicure and I would've been better off doing it myself. After about 20 mins wait I was told to sit in a seat. While she already had a customer at her desk whose nails she was doing, she came over and started my toes. She went back and forth between me and the customer in her chair, NO GLOVES. The entire pedicure from start to finish took maybe 7 minutes. What a joke. She began painting my toes with polish. When I asked her where's the base coat? She said, "oh you want a base coat?" It was honestly laughable. $18 down the drain. Never again. The seat nor tub nor tools were even sanitized when she told the next customer to sit in the chair I was just in. Beyond unsanitary. Pedicure sloppy. Nastiest place I've been to. I went to get my armpits waxed and she made me pull my shirt down with no type of privacy just in the middle of the nail shop. Then she waxed my armpits and would dip the same stick multiple times in the same wax she uses in people's face. On top of that she charged $18. It was over just ratchet! I'm never getting my nails done here again! I went 3 days ago and I just can't believe how awful they left my nails!
