Gel nails & pedicure from 4/14. No damage to cuticles. Great outcome
    Jamila C.

Prices fluctuate with each visit for the exact same service. So VERIFY before sitting down. Gel needs to be added in 3 layers to get a solid color before the clear. I can say my nails never lift during the standard 2 weeks. Nail polish needs drying in between as well to get a solid color. Pedi's are basic & pretty quick, but gets the look u need until next service. Last visit I got 3 nails replaced, two nails acrylic overlay & the other 5 filled w/ gel. It was $40. This visit....just a fill & gel...$48. Doesn't make sense. This time 3 cuticles were cut from the electric filer..ouch. I paid & left. I never remember which lady does my nails when I come. But I hope next visit it will be more gentle. I like this place cuz they are really nice & my nails last as far as not lifting.

Polished only the top half of my nails trying to rush to get to a walk-in that walked in 75% through my service.

I usually like this place but this time I went was not a good experience. The manager who is usually there, Dee was not there. And when he's not there there's a different vibe in the place. Everyone is more lackadaisical & non-chalant. The woman who did my manicure literally started rushing once other people came in, and left a few of my nails half polished, and I am not happy with the results. I could have done a better job myself. The one who did my pedicure kept tapping me instead of speaking to get my attention which I found weird! She also had an attitude when I asked her to put the fan on my toes so they could dry. I usually tip but today there was no reason! I doubt I will be back!

    What I asked for...

My pedicure went great! The lady took her time & made sure I was satisfied. BUT for my manicure, it was rushed. Those pics are a day after I did my nails. They look like press ons & he didn't bother to asked if I liked the shaping or design. When I noticed, he was already done with my nails. I think they should consider asking the customer if they are satisfied or not while doing nails.

    Ugliest nails ever

Nails are the worst I've ever gotten, fat bulky. Even after I showed her the picture of the nails I expected she said she could do it. Did was not able to do the design I wanted not the shape nothing I'm so mad. Wish I could give them negative stars. She cut me in 4 fingers please don't go to this place

Worst nails I've ever got she didn't cut my nails or cuticle and the gel chipped off the same day!

    French tip

This place has a very cozy and relaxing vibe. It's very cute and clean. I didn't get the lady's name that did my toes but she was sweet and did a good job. For sure considering on coming back to see if they do toe nail art

I loooove coming here. It took me SO long to find a good nail shop. I've been coming here consistently for over a year & a half now. I go to Nancy and Rose. Nancy does my pedicures, she's SO good. She takes her time and her massages are amazing. They offer a jelly pedicure and nobody does it better than Nancy! Rose does my nails. She's a BEAST at shaping! I'm really particular about my stilettos and she gets them right every time. She doesn't really do designs but other people in the shop do. My favorite part about this shop is they offer a gel hybrid instead of acrylic. Same look as acrylic and holds up just as well but SO much healthier for your nails!! With acrylic I can only get 1-2 sets and then i have to take like a 4 month break because of how thin it makes my natural nails. With the gel hybrid i can get them consistently! It does still cause a little damage but nothing compared to acrylics. The shop is also very clean and they always have relaxing music playing. The guy in the front is really nice and helpful too!!

Great place for a simple pedicure. Nice background music. The people here are not loud talking in foreign language ball the time.

I honestly was nervous because it was my first time with a new nail tech and I was really happy with my results thanks to Rose. She's very fast and does a great job will come back here again soon ! Thanks Rose :) I recommend going early because of the limited parking as well.

I'm seriously in shock. Just had my mani and pedi done here for the first time and can't remember last time I was so happy with the results. Shelley and Nancy are AMAZING

Last time I came, I left with my nails snagging one day later. I figured maybe this was just a bad day, so I came back this morning. I called and asked do they take credit cards, the guys that answered the phone said yes. Then I walk into the spa and get my temperature check. Thank goodness I try to scan environments for anything important upon arrival, as there is a sign on the desk saying cash only because the credit card machine is down. Sir... you got me out my bed at 830am on a Sunday to not be able to help me. Just a waste of time to drive over. I asked him to confirm if they can take credit cards like I was told on the phone, he said no, go to the at in the back. Are yall just trying to nickel and dime people.... I prefer a place that I can trust.

Perfect toes she also fixed a broken nail

This place has a jelly pedicure! That really moisturizes your feet on another level. I highly recommend this service.

The Good: To start there is no business signage on the front or any type of indication that this is " Uncovered LA" literally just an all black storefront, with blacked out windows and a black iron gate door. Once you walk in though, it is very nice and looks neat and clean. Max who usually does my waxing, is pleasant. She does small talk to catch up and tries give breaks to relieve you through the waxing process which can be painful. The bad: she doesn't use any type of protective barriers on the waxing table which i find very unhygienic. I remember she stopped investing in the paper roll that you use to cover the table similar to what they use in a doctor's office before you sit on the examination table. She started reusing towels instead which i still think is pretty unsanitary. She also use reuses wash cloths to wipe your sensitive areas down and that just freaks me out every time. I've never had someone reuse wash cloths always a fresh warmed wipe. I even thought about bringing my own supplies like I do at the nails salon to not get a fungal infection, but I shouldn't have to do all that. The Ugly: my last visit I unfortunately received a bad bacterial infection after getting a wax from Max. I remember her looking for a towel to put down on the table and couldn't find one and i was in a super rush to catch a flight later that day so i just had her wipe down the black waxing table with a sanitizer wipe and i got it done. She used this same white wash cloths as per usual to wipe me down afterwards. Later that day I started to feel uncomfortable "down there" and had discharge that hasn't stoped since I go back from my trip. When I got checked, I was told it was a bacterial infection and I wont go into to much details, but I find myself having to wear a pantie liner EVERYDAY which is something I've NEVER had to worry about before. I waited a long time to post this review because I didn't want to negatively impact her business, but this experience has really changed my life and the money that I have to constantly spend on liners was definitely not worth a $60 Brazilian wax. Needless to say, I was naïve and really should have voice my concerns, but what an expensive lesson to lean. Ladies please take care of your health and always speak up if something doesn't feel right to you especially when paying for a service.
