If I could give zero stars, this place had earned it. Save your money, go elsewhere! I have a 8 month old cat that wouldn't be alive if I wasn't persistent. She had puss pouring from her body for almost two weeks before I was listened to about my worries. This vet can't even tell if a cat is spayed or not! Which resulted in a 2,000$ surgery that could've been prevented if they actually examined the animals properly instead of leading you to believe that they did.

I definitely followed her! And I would have never met Dr. Hladio if it wasn't for this practice......SHE'S THE BEST!! And Dr. Trail too! But the staff is beyond AMAZING!! ESPECIALLY Christa, Jake, Francesca, Lindsay, Christian, Megan......I'm sorry there are too many people to list and I apologize I don't know everyone's names! They are all the most compassionate people! But this is the only office I'd have take care of my babies! THEY ARE BEYOND THE BEST!!!

This vet is insanely priced. I was aware at a teeth cleaning $1750 (quoted $1450) and several of the other appts have been way more than I've ever paid. I pay for insurance on both dogs but the fees charged are well beyond any place I've ever been (my dogs are 8 and 9). Today I made a quick nail trim appt for my two dogs. $95. Took 15 min total. I've had dogs my entire life and french bulldogs are expensive as is...but $48 for a nail trim is crazy. SF pricing and Park City Utah - all $15. The receptionist told me I was getting a nail tech and it's $25 for the 5 minutes of their time for each dog - plus the cut. Look elsewhere if you want a vet that isn't trying to price gouge you. Upon leaving they called and asked if I wanted to schedule another appt for a teeth cleaning - we just had one done 4 months before. Ridiculous. We will be switching vets ASAP.

What a horrible experience- this place has gone downhill, fast…read more Our beloved German Shepard, Ziggy (almost 9 years old) became sick on 4/16 and was seen at urgent care at Rivers. Based on bloodwork and X-rays, we were told he likely had a terminal tumor on his spleen. We then followed up with our regular vet, Cheyenne, on 4/21. After spending nearly $900 on an ultrasound, Dr. Gross told us our dog had no life-threatening concerns. He specifically stated that his kidneys, liver, and small intestine looked fine, and that there was no mass on his spleen. We were told to simply return in one week for follow-up bloodwork and a urinalysis. Just five days later, on 4/26, our family -- including my 12-year-old son -- watched our Ziggy pass away suddenly in our driveway. When I called to inform Dr. Gross, he didn't even have the courtesy to return my call for 10 days. He finally called back on 5/6 and admitted he would need to follow up with the ultrasound specialist because "something was missed." He told me he would get back to me by 5/8. Of course, there was no follow-up, and when I contacted the office again, I was simply told he still hadn't heard anything. As of 5/22, there has still been no follow up. After our visit to Rivers, we were emotionally preparing to lose our dog. However, Cheyenne gave us hope and assured us he was fine and had no life-threatening condition. Clearly, something major was missed, and our dog died traumatically in front of our family. The lack of compassion, communication, accountability, and follow-up from Dr. Gross is beyond unacceptable. I would strongly recommend taking your pet elsewhere. I would never want another family to experience the traumatic loss that we went through. To place your trust in a veterinarian and then receive no closure afterward is devastating. His actions -- or lack thereof -- only reinforce that something was seriously overlooked. Shame on you, Dr. Gross

Dr. Carly saw him first and was super helpful and easy to talk to--she explained everything in detail and I felt much better about what was going on. We followed up with Dr. Kellie, who was just as kind and thorough. I just love these two! Everyone was really communicative the whole time, which I appreciated so much. The facility is also super cute and clean! The entire staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!

And they said "pay what you can" Fast forward after losing those two babies ( same day) to my two new babies of three years. My little American bully had an open pyometra infection. VEG in shadyside was cool letting her bleed out for 5 hours as we waited on a dog that ate ONE GRAPE so when it stopped we left and these people got her. Got her set up for an emergency hysterectomy. Saved my girl and she's as good as new if not better. The staff is always wonderful the veterinarians are always wonderful and the price .... it's almost unbelievable for the amount of care you receive even when they're busy. out the door $1200. VEG wanted 1700 just for an x-ray and bloodwork and it would be $4000 for the Emergency hysterectomy two - 4 days after the fact of her bleeding out. She's a tough cookie and this will always be my go to place. this is the third baby they've saved for me. Deeply grateful.
