I have gone to this alteration business for a couple of years and I have never been as disappointed as I am. My dress does not even look like it was hemmed and that's the only alteration I needed done. I was still tripping on the front of the dress but the back was shorter. It was also not ironed and there were random stains all over my dress. I just bought this dress. I wasted $110 for a simple hemming, definitely overpriced. 3 family members were all working there and saw me when I brought in ONE pair of pants to hem length. Went into dressing room and put pants on so he could measure the length, the whole bit. Charged me $18 up front. I did lose receipt, but he had already told me I just needed to have I.D. to pick up pants. They couldn't find the pants. They said they hung all clothes up by customer name and didn't see it. They apparently don't even have their copy if receipt or some record of it on computer or something$! Then, as I looked in car for receipt, they all came out, saying "we're closed." They kept the money, saying they would call me IF they found the pants. They never did. Yes, I lost receipt, but they remembered me, especially the guy who measured the pants, collected the money, gave me the receipt, and told me I didn't need it. They could have at least offered to hem another pair at no cost as a good faith gesture since I lost both the $18 I paid them, but also the $40 pair of Levi's. I have 10 more pair I took to alterations place at McClintock and Southern N. E. corner who didn't even charge me upfront. So, don't go here, but if you do, put your receipt in your wallet or purse! read more

I booked online for a "30 minute free consultation" (which is a service I noticed they took away since I visited 3 days ago). When I got there, one of the ladies had me try on my dress and was nowhere to be seen when I needed help putting it on. The dressing rooms are insanely small for a wedding dress and it was very hot in there. When I finally got my dress on, she came and asked me what I would like done. She started pinning things and kept asking what I would like done. After about 45 minutes, she said "be right back" and came back with a marker. She said "I'm going to mark up some things, but it'll come out when I wash it". I stopped her and I said I was only in for a quote and consultation, which is what I booked for! She said "I wish you would've asked sooner, but that's okay". Of course I didn't know to ask since I figured she's the professional and she knows what I booked for! She quoted me an arm and a leg. I'm glad I stopped her before she marked up my dress. I was very very upset with the service here. She also said if I go anywhere else, they won't do a good job. She even insulted the woman who sold me the dress by saying that they don't know what they're talking about when I told her what I would to like have done based on what the woman at the dress shop told me. They were able to fix my wedding dress under 3 weeks out from my wedding. It looks and fits so perfect.

I brought my wedding dress to them, for a hem and to slightly adjust the sleeves. They charged $400- there were 7 layers to hem. But they didn't need to do anything other than cut them, was a mesh fabric so didn't need any sewing on that part. The one thing I asked was to keep the extra fabric (it's a pearl mesh, so I was going to make flower girl bows out of it.) and they told me they would keep it for me. It was there for almost a month, would've been ready the 30th and I picked it up on the 29th. I called them and they said it's been ready but never told me. They told me that they get rid of the extra fabric after a couple weeks. Gave me two tiny pieces of the extra, not enough to do anything with. (Which they had to dig around for, they didn't save anything) after telling me they would save it. They made the sleeves too tight, but I don't want to let them touch my dress anymore. Overall, the hemming is good, the sleeves are something I'm going to have to figure out. It's frustrating that they were so unorganized and didn't listen, when it was so expensive. If you go to them- they will do a good job but beware they won't follow instruction. Just don't bring a wedding dress there, or anything too sentimental. It was NOT a cheap dress, and I really love my dress so I'm going to make it work, even though they made it so the sleeves won't fit. read more

I have been going here for 4 or 5 years now because I really TRY to be a loyal customer. I can't justify spending any more money here. 5 years in the owner is nice to me, but still doesn't know my name. I go there 10 times a year minimum - so it shouldn't be that hard to at least RECOGNIZE me. I decided to have my wedding dress altered there this year because I knew and trusted her. She made a big to do about my dress and my wedding, but when I stopped by with my ENTIRE wedding party to pick up ALL of our dresses, she had no idea what we were talking about. "Dress? What type of dress?" Uh, my WEDDING dress? The only one in the store? Hanging right there? Every pair of pants she has hemmed for me - from jeans to slacks - has been too short, by over an inch, and she charged me SIX dollars to sew a button back on... when I brought her the button. I purchased a dress for a wedding and wanted the hem let down. The dress also was a little big on top so in addition to the hem I had her take the top in. However, when I got home and tried the dress on I found that she'd taken it in so much that I could hardly breathe standing up and was even more uncomfortable sitting down. I could not wear the dress to the wedding as I planned. I called the next business day and she said to bring the dress back in but made it sound like I had gained weight or something so that was why it did not fit. I'd actually been trying to lose weight for the event so this was not true! When I went to the shop she was short with me but then there were other customers around. In looking at how much the dress needed to be let out she unzipped the back of the dress all the way down with two men standing behind me - - they could see my bra and underwear! I was very embarrassed! I picked up the dress today and it is sewn with a completely different color of thread which you can see at the seams and it is wrinkled. I feel like this new dress is a piece of trash now and am just sick that I spend money on the dress and an extra $40+ for alterations that just are not professional at all. I will never go back and I also plan to tell the salesperson at Dillards never to give this woman's card to anyone again! read more

i needed three slacks and one pair of jeans hemmed. i requested that cuffs be added to the slacks after they were hemmed. it is a small, modest store located in a older shopping center in tempe. as far as customer service the owner is very nice but at times a little difficult to understand due to her heavy accent. prices are reasonable=12.00 each pair of slacks and 9.00 for the jeans. i called around several places to compare prices. overall don't expect the jeans to have a perfect stitching. its a little sloppy but for the price i was alright with it since it's not that noticeable. i would probably return. read more
