    Chicken sandwich

Very interesting establishment. You seat yourself and order your food at the bar. I was a little skeptical but so happy I stayed. I was torn by the burger and chicken sandwich and asked the bartender which I should go with and before I could finish my sentence he said chicken sandwich so that's what I went with. The sandwich was so good! The chicken was died perfectly and the sweetness from the honey mustard was a nice compliment.

Boston classic irish pub as much as it gets a bit overpriced but hey look at the area what do you expect? i admire the ambiance with sport tv and stats all over along with the food and beverage selections it's wholesome and plenty of friendly service as well as vibes 10/10 this is great spot to go to after work or with friends. i got burger and fries and they were a home run!

Fun and loud neighborhood bar that really delivers a good time and good food, even when it's busy on a rainy fall night. Love the Smithwick's on tap along with the Guinness. The Irish Mule is worth a nod, or two. Maybe three. Bartenders were really on top of it--attentive service even in the chaos. Above average bar food, topped by an amazing Reuben. No doubt other places in Boston are better but you just don't find great Reuben's in the south. We enjoyed this one as we did the dish and chips, another dish routinely botched at home. The cod fillet was perfect, crunchy on the outside but flaky on the inside. Pub fries almost worth price of admission.

    Smash burger. Delicious.

Came here for lunch with my hubs after a nice MFA date with the hubs. I'll say ; The owner is great. It wasn't busy when we went in. We got our food fast. My husband got the smash burger. It was great! I wish I got it. My chicken fingers weren't worth the cost (two tiny pieces and one regular sized tender) and it wasn't great. But now I know and I'll get something else when I return. The smash burger (husband only ate half) heated up well. Glad we came by even if my dish was meh. Will be back.

Came here for drinks with friends new to Boston and I was not impressed. The bartender had an attitude and was unfriendly. Thought about getting food and then I saw a mouse running around on the floor. Music was way too loud so it was hard to have a conversation. Women's bathroom was disgusting and one of the doors was missing a lock. There are TVs to watch games but there was no sound. The only positive was the one drink I got was quite strong and worth the $13 price. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Boston, Boston, Boston, Back Bay, Back Bay, Back Bay. Great Irish Bangers, Mash and Fish N Chips get no better. Great location, Great location in the middle of it all. The prices reflect the area. Staff is helpful and work hard to please. Old school Boston feel, in the middle of Back Bay.

I'm still dreaming about this meal. We stopped by after a work conference, needless to say we were starving, and decided to share three go-to's. The food was all hot and fresh, delicious! Super flavorful, not over-oiled or greasy like some bars' food. Classic pub feel on the inside, dark and cozy. Service and food was quick to table. If I lived in Boston, this would be my stomping ground!

Literally amazing food!!! YOU MUST EAT: Scotch eggs! Calamari! The dipping sauce for their calamari will BLOW YOUR MIND!!! The pub vibe is great, the beers are great, the service was great - BUT THE FOOD IS RIDICULOUSLY GOOD!! If you're in Boston... YOU. MUST. GO. Have a great day my friends! Enjoy!

I went to A.T. O'Keeffe's located on 911 Boylston St, Boston, MA. This irish pub and sports bar has over 65 bourbons and has one of the largest bourbon selections in Massachusetts. They also feature some pretty amazing food and cocktail selections! For cocktails we had their margarita and an old fashioned. The staff was very kind with helping us choose a whiskey to try based on our preferences. For appetizers we had their scotch eggs, buffalo wings and truffle mac and cheese. If you don't know what a scotch egg it is a boiled egg wrapped in irish sausage, coated in breadcrumbs and deep-fried. All of the appetizers were very good but my hands down favorite was the truffle mac and cheese. So creamy and so delicious! For entrees we had their honey dipper crispy chicken sandwich, the A.T.'s Burger and the Shepherd's pie. The Shepherd's pie was amazing and exactly the type of menu item you want to see at an irish pub! For dessert we had their Creme Brulée and Bourbon Pecan Bread Pudding. The Bourbon pecan bread pudding had so much flavor and of course a hint of Bourbon Cara. Next time you find yourself in Back Bay and its a game night head on over to this spot! You'll have an excellent time and won't be dissapointed in the food or drink. Rating: Ambiance: 7/10 Food: 8/10 Affordibility: 7/10

Good place to come watch a game, but I wouldn't come here for a meal. We came in and sat ourselves at a table near the bar. Each table we tried had a bit of a wobble, so we picked the one that wobbled the least and sat down. It did take a while for someone to serve us, so we grabbed a menu from the table next to us and I looked at what was on tap. When our server came she was very friendly and got our beers to us right away. She recommended the chicken sandwich which I ordered. It was decent for bar food, chicken was fried very well but the honey mustard and other sauce just spilled out the back of the sandwich and it started to fall apart as I ate. Fries that came with it were nothing special. My boyfriend got the A.T. Burger which was ok but also nothing special. Our server was attentive, she did come and check on us a couple times after our food came out. We were the only ones I saw eating there, everyone else was there just for the game and beers. I think that's the move for this spot. This place has a good sized bar, large TVs, and beer on tap. Good for watching sports, but I would probably recommend eating dinner somewhere else before coming here.

Not very Irish, not very good food, not the cleanest and drinks were flat. Too bad, wanted it to work.

It wasn't particularly busy on a Sunday at 1pm, which was fine with us, and the other patrons were all middle aged (like us) or older; the youngest person was the bartender. The music wasn't blasting, there were hooks under the counter to hang your purse (which was much appreciated), and the gender neutral washroom was clean. The bar catered to beer drinkers, of course, and the only wine they offered was Pinot Grigio for $9 a glass, but it was nice and refreshing on such a hot day, and at least it wasn't something disgusting like Moscato. It really is very tiny, so just be aware that seating is sometimes limited. They didn't have too much on draft, thought some of that was due to the Scottish being in town for the World Cup the week before. We went with lemon drop shots, and the bartender was very transparent about the fact that he was out of most of his supplies due to the Scottish. No fault at all to them for that because that was the situation at every bar we went to. Service was friendly, the shot was nice and strong, and it was a nice little spot. Beyond drinking, there isn't really much going on in the bar in terms of activities, but there were TVs. So, watching sports here is definitely an option. I'd definitely say that this spot is worth popping in if you are enjoying a night on the town, but that it probably shouldn't be the only spot you go to.

But they have done a great job giving the entire joint a serious style and vibe that makes it feel like you could have taken it right out of the television. Lots of vintage decor and show memorabelia, definitely cool to see. The establishment kind of consists of three or four different dining rooms, and you know that it will almost certianly be busy when you come, as it was when we did. But I gotta give props to the staff, who did a great job juggling to many customers and still getting everything out in pretty quick order. The drink menu is pretty standard, with a good selection of beers on tap, including a really good house hazy that I recommend. And of course, wine and cocktails available. And as for food, it is mostly lots of pub favorites, with some house specialties tailored to certain characters. We both wound up going with the Giant Norm Burger, which was excellent. Two beef patties, plenty of cheese, and lots of sauteed mushrooms. Definitely a winner! And price wise, I was pleasantly surprise, as it didn't seem any more expensive than other similar pub sorts of places we explored in Boston, so good on them for not falling into the tourist trap mindset. All told, Cheers was a surprise on this Boston trip. Surprising we went, and surprising how much we enjoyed it. If you want a taste of nostalgia AND a taste of good burgers, definitely consider swinging by if you are visiting.
