Where so I start my stepson who lives close to this restaurant said he disliked going there because the waitress was rude. Upon arrival we got the cranky waitress that he had warned me about. Yes she was cranky. A poor waitress as well. Forgot to ask if we wanted something to drink, then forgot to bring our drinks. Upon paying our bill I discovered a fee and when I asked about she said the management added a 20% gratuity for 4 people or more. Popped in at 855 and were told they were closed but fortunately the server offered to let us do take out. Thai takeout is yummy but also extremely messy. We ordered Tom yum soup (not smart), green curry chicken(not smart either), and drunken noodles with beef (much safer). We were not given spoons or plates and when you're in a hotel, that makes eating Thai even more challenging. We really enjoyed the flavor, and the portions were decent for $14. They'd get 5 stars if they stayed open after 9 on weekends so we could have been less barbaric with our table manners. Come on, at least 930? read more

Got the chicken pad Thai, crab rangoons, shrimp basil dish and the shrimp & veggie tempura - overall food was delicious - especially the shrimp tempura and crab rangoons, pad Thai was average (4/5) but looks like there was a discrepancy with prices on the website and what I was charged - not a huge deal but I still don't like it/want things to match & be straightforward. read more

This place is so good! I came here two days in a row. First I ordered the drunken noodles and the potato curry spice level two, which has a nice kick. Then the next day I ordered a spicy fried rice bowl with chicken. Both dishes tasted so delicious. I would say as a disclaimer I enjoy spicy food and level two was decent I could probably make it to level three but I'd stop there if you aren't great with spice. read more

It was so disappointing on the costumer service that we got. If I could I would give it 0 stars. We sat down waiting for an hour for our food. They even forgot one of our dishes even though we told them that we were missing a dish.my glass cup had a lip stain on it when I was about to drink out it. We asked for Dr Pepper and they said they had no more. We asked question, like if they had cream cheese and if they could add it to one of our orders , they said they didn't have anymore cream cheese, but for an appetizer that I ordered it had cream cheese in it and they said that they didn't have any. They were a guy that entered the restaurant a while after we order and sat down. He got his food like 20 minutes after he ordered. Food was fresh and delicious- we had the Pad Thai with chicken and the Panang Curry with pork and only red peppers (my request) I could taste the lemongrass in the curry-subtle and nice. It was a Sunday afternoon and service was fast and friendly. The only thing that wasn't fresh was my rice- seemed like it had sat for awhile. 4 stars was mainly for the decor and music. Hearing Kenny Rodgers sing cover songs the whole time was unpleasant. Maybe when they are busy you wouldn't notice it. The food was great though! read more

Absolutely love this place! The food is absolutely incredible and the portions are generous. Every time my husband and I visit the area we make it a point to get some of this deliscious food. We love this place. The food is very fresh and yummy! Service is also great. Very friendly staff. I especially liked that, even though there were lots of customers, it was very quiet. HAILEY Taste of Thai is still excellent Asian food. Ketchum location has changed ownership. Have tried it 2x but sorry to say the quality is not there, just not good. Definitely go to the Hailey location or get it to go. read more

Whenever I get a fix for thai while visiting the valley I head down to Hailey for dinner at the Taste of Thai. Great to pear up with a trip to the movies in Hailey. Good food all around. We ate here on New Year's eve and found that it has wonderful, authentic Thai food. My 13 year-old daughter loved her Won Ton soup and I loved my delicious chicken - vegetable dish with Thai peanut sauce. My husband had a shrimp dish and was also very pleased with his dish. This is a perfectly adequate restaurant. Regular egg rolls were ordered as an appetizer; however, instead of standard-sized egg rolls (as pictured), I received a plate of 8 finger-sized rolls. The flavor was average, though they weren't cooked thoroughly and were still a bit doughy on the inside. The appearance and taste lent the impression that these are pre-packaged and not made fresh, but they weren't inedible by any stretch of the imagination. Overall, a little less than what was expected for a $5 appetizer. The Chicken Pad Gai served for the main entree was generous in portion, and not over-sauced. The onion was a bit heavy for my taste, but that is entirely a personal preference as it tends to overwhelm the more delicate sauce and the large pieces make it difficult to eat with other ingredients. The noodles were a tad overcooked, but again, far from inedible. There was plenty of chicken included to preserve the flavor balance. The overall taste was decent, but tended towards the average end. There were no other customers present in the restaurant, though several take-out orders were filled during the visit. The service was a little slow for water refills at times and the glass went dry twice with 5-10 minute waits before it was remedied. As far as value, it is comparable to other prices in this area, but a bit more for dinner than most may be accustomed to seeing for standard food. Of note: both the waiter and hostess seemed to be genuinely nice people, and I did not get the impression that the lapses in service were in any way intentional, but may have arisen out of distraction. While this may not be a first choice for dinner, neither is it a place I would avoid. read more
