Service and attention to detail are above expectations. Worth the visit. I would recommend and I will return.

The pork chop was a favorite, and the baked potatoes are Idaho sized so be mindful but it's recommended. The mocha pie was a favorite even for those of us who don't care for dessert or care for coffee flavored items, so give that a shot it was very good. Overall it's a must hit spot when in town no matter your party size or age. Get your name in early and eat up!!

At 8pm they are out of prime rib, halibut, trout, artichokes, ribs, and salad! WHAT is going on? I do understand this sort of thing happening on occasion, but literally the last 4-5 times anyone in our family has attempted eating here, it has been such a bad experience like this! Bad food, out of main staple items, or summoned to the dreaded basement... Unfortunately, after 46 years of dining at Pioneer, I think we are done! The past several seasons, something seems different. Always out of MANY items, and service is blah! It was literally a family favorite, so it's sad to even be typing this!!! Shout out to Sawtooth Club for getting us in last minute and serving a delicious meal! We will be back to support them!

While we waited, we noticed the clientele and the hardworking folks staffing the store. Most everyone working at the store was friendly and anxious to be of assistance. The store is jammed with a lot of goods and not a large footprint which can make navigating the store challenging with a cart and a lack of spatial awareness for yourself and others. We feasted on our sandwiches at one of the tables at the front by the coffee stand. It was delicious and fun to watch the people checking out and play old money/new money.

ATKINSONS SELLS EXPIRED MILK, FRUIT, AND BEVERAGES TO THE COMMUNITY AND APPARENTLY DOES NOT CARE! It's disgusting and unhealthy. Three times I've brought home Atkinson's milk, fruit juice, and cherries, only to find that the expiration dates had already passed and the fruit was soft and spoiling. Their produce really sucks. It makes people lose money and time and threatens family health. Someone is going to get seriously ill from this store. Greedy store owners who aren't concerned about customers sell expired food and rotting produce. SPECIFICALLY IN HAILEY. Entirely true. Switch to Albertsons.
