However, he forgot that we have 3 cats because the bouquet came will lillies (which are my favorite flower but are deadly to cats), eucalyptus leaves, and hydrangeas. He mentioned that lillies are my favorite flower - which they are - and the florist acted on his instructions beautifully. But lillies are lethal to cats, which he seems to have forgotten. After I slept on it with the bouquet hidden away from the cats, I was able to remove everything toxic to cats and oh my heart. It was even prettier than the original. It went from "Nice flowers" to "This is ME!" The roses seemed to be different colors in the original arrangement. But when pulled out, they were cream and peach, not yellow. Honestly, I love the new bouquet better than the original. Don't misunderstand me, the original was GORGEOUS. But I have 3 cats. The flowers - all of them - were fresh, fragrant, and super high quality. Their rose selection is top tier. I adored their lillies too - just couldn't keep them. I think that, if my husband had told them that we have 3 cats, the arrangement would have been even more lovely and I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it differently. That said, I still like the smaller selection of cat friendly flowers. It feels more "me" than the original. NOT A FAULT OF THE FLORIST. Fault of the husband. The florist is 5/5. When I picked up the arrangement later that week, I saw it and was immediately disappointed. It looked nothing like what I was shown at my last visit. I was in a rush and didn't have time to complain. I realize this is my fault and they likely would have fixed matters. Instead of a beautiful sympathy arrangement, it was now the day of the funeral and I had a vase that looked like it had one of everything in it. It didn't seem like it was worth the price I paid. My stepmother had just lost her father and so I sent her flowers, but instead of bright and cheerful they were deep colors which I was trying to avoid since she needed something to cheer her up. It was very hard to get anyone on the phone and I had to call several times over a 4 hour period until someone answered and wasn't very friendly. I'm giving them three stars because the flowers got to her house on the same day and at least the flowers look decent. I just really wish they wouldn't false advertise with what you're purchasing online.
