Last year Ken and his assistant Juan did an excellent job restaining my arbor…read more This year I had him paint my cedar siding house in the same color previiously applied. -They first thoroughly power washed the siding and somehow avoided spreading the old paint particles on the landscaping. -They spent a great deal of time prepping and somehow found and repaired additional dry rot my general contractor and I had missed. -They then completey masked all windowa, door knbs etc. -Ken had done precise color matching of the old siding and trim paint which they then applied. -He also applied a different color metal paint to the gate and exterior lamp. The result was absolutely fantastic with everything cleaned up and nothing damaged, including shrubbery close to the house. Lastly, Ken's price was well below any other bid I received which I expect is largely becasue he is a 2-man operation without the overhead of the other contractors. Ken doesn't have a web site or fancy bochures. He and Juan are just higkly skilled painters who are focused on the best quality and who take great pride in their work. They are the best!!

We were visited the day after we called their office and were offered an exceptional bid for the job. We were advised that NAPCO would stand by this bid, even if the job took longer than they estimated. At the same time, if the job took less than the estimated time, the price would be reduced accordingly. The two man crew arrived every morning on time, made sure everything in the house was covered and protected and completed the job a full half day earlier than the estimated time. Instead of asking for a reduction in the price we asked if they could use the additional half day to paint a small bathroom. Not only did they complete that job, but the final price was still reduced from the original estimate. The house was immaculate when the job was done and the crew even helped in relocating some furniture. Steve provided my mom a bid with a list of everything that would be done, explained things to her and it was quick and simple. Other companies were a bit way too much for what my mom wanted to do, although nice to be aware of other options but it wasn't what she wanted and the quote was double to triple what Steve quoted. Steve was able to schedule out 3-4 weeks for our paint job, he called a couple days before to let us know when he'd be out. First day was power wash and walk through of what colors my mom wanted and where each color would go specifically. My mom is pretty agreeable to anything and she was going to let Steve decide but he told her "I want you to be happy with it." I appreciated that, shows he wanted his customer to be satisfied and not just get the job done. Steve's team did everything he said would be done, made sure to cover and mask off everything. Walk through was done and only a few little spots my mom wanted touched up and Steve took care of it. My mom enjoyed talking to his team and they appreciated it as well. The business has a verified license and strong reviews, so I expected a professional, well-executed job. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. From the start, there were issues with preparation and masking -- several areas were not properly covered, leading to paint bleed, overspray, and uneven lines. The paint coverage was inconsistent, with visible thin spots and missed sections that had to be pointed out repeatedly. The company returned three separate times to fix problems, but each visit revealed new issues that still weren't fully resolved. Even after all the follow-ups, the final result remains substandard. There are areas with bubbling and poor adhesion that suggest improper surface prep, and overall the finish lacks uniformity. Communication was polite, but the repeated callbacks and the need to constantly monitor quality made the process frustrating and time-consuming. For the cost and time involved, I expected far better workmanship. While the team made efforts to correct problems, the job ultimately fell short of professional standards, and I cannot recommend them based on my experience.
