Junior was so easy to work with and was able to identify pretty extensive dry rot on my pergola that other painters had missed when I was looking for estimates. He was honest about the job and ultimately I ended up demolishing the pergola since so much of it was infested with dry rot. Although it didn't end up being a paint job, Junior and his associate took down the whole thing, cleaned up and dumped it. He is honest, hardworking and such a pleasure to work with. First off I would like to talk about the work done. Mine is a two story house in Vacaville fully furnished with vaulted ceilings. I wanted to have the popcorn ceiling removed for the past several years but never wanted to put up with all the mess and inconvenience. Junior Ramirez came to my home and we discussed dividing the job into two projects so my wife and I could comfortably stay in the house. The work progressed smoothly in a timely fashion. First off acoustical ceiling was removed then the ceilings were textured and primer painted. Two coats of Kelly Moore Swiss Coffee paint was applied after the primer. Interior walls were primed then two coats of KM Navajo White were applied. All trim, doors, sills, etc. received sanding and "three" coats of paint. Work was done by perfectionists who were friendly, professional, and respectful of our home. I decided to hire Junior Ramirez when I first interviewed him because he was punctual, reasonable, and flexible on how the work would proceed. The big word to me about contractors is "Reliability" and throughout the job I was completely satisfied with the work and how it was performed. I recommend Ramirez Painting for all your painting needs. Give him a call when you need quality painting, you'll be glad you did!! Brought him back with Alberto to paint my kitchen cabinets.
