One of my pet peeves when dealing with contractors is them being on time when they say they will be there. Green Valley Painting was on time at every scheduled meeting. The guys that came to do the actual work were helpful and friendly. I was worried they would leave my yard sloppy when they were done because I have dealt with other contractors that have. We hired Green Valley Painting to do the exterior paint work on our two-story home because they had done such an excellent job on our kitchen a few years back. We wanted to get our house painted / sealed before rainy season began to protect the wood / house and we're glad we did. They arrived on time, were very detail-oriented / skilled. It was clear they took their time to do things right and we appreciated that. Somehow during the process though they squished one of my favorite flower bushes in our front yard which created a gaping hole in our landscaping. But they made things right by replacing it with the exact same bush type at least and even planted it for us. They also provided us the exterior touch up paint cans. AND they even painted/fixed a minor paint ding in one of our kitchen cabinets upon request (with the touch up paint from the original kitchen job they did). Great at customer service. They are LEGIT! I feel bad that I actually didn't even write a review because it has been a long time but they deserve it. When we decided we wanted to paint our house we got 4 quotes and narrowed it down quickly to Green Valley and Universal. They both were definitely pricier than the 2 other quotes we got but they both were super professional and you can just feel how legit they were and you are paying for what you get. What won us over honestly was one of our neighbors so happened to be getting their paint done by Green Valley and we loved it. Fast forward to us going with Green Valley and literally from the moment we signed the contract until the paint job was done they were UNBELIEVABLE! The team that came out to our house were super nice and meticulous. We ended up getting them lunch every day they were here because you can just see how hard they work. Don't let these excellent reviews fool you. I have never been treated this way by any service. I was scheduled to meet with them today at 9:30 a.m. to discuss my project. I have been waiting for them since 9 a.m. I called to see if they were coming at all and I was told that they knocked on the door and rang the doorbell, waited 15 minutes, and left their card. Really? I have been home this entire time. I find it hard to believe that they were here for this long and didn't think reach the out. Mind you, they have both my email and my phone number. What was the point of taking any of that information down if not to contact me? I was led to believe that this was a reputable business. The level of unprofessionalism is shocking. Green Valley was one of three bids we received to paint the interior common areas of our home (ceilings included). We decided on them after looking at online reviews and checking their status with the State of California. We selected them, in part, because they not only had the required licensing, but they also had worker's compensation insurance; something the other two bidders didn't have. Our house was in desperate need for some exterior trim to be freshened up. Ian, Casey and their crew were top notch. Very profesional. They supplied us with their Licenses without us having to ask.
