They proceeded to call me at work, and continued to demand that I call them at their office for a balance of 45 dollars that they threatened me to send to collections for (all while I'm at work and cannot call!) Please hire better and more competent front desk staff, who can be accountable for their responsibilities, know how to communicate, and write down the correct address of their patients. I have never had this issue with any medical office in the past. Also, I hate to beat a dead horse, it's not courteous to call people when you can resolve an issue by text or email, it is also ridiculous to demand people to call you when they clearly stated they are at work. Do better. In addition, I doubt that they communicated about this "balance" of 45 dollars prior to this text - I don't think they ever sent me any mail, because they literally had my dental insurance and cannot mail this to the wrong address. Good luck also coming up with proof of call log or text messages to show the practice owner/dentist that you have contacted me prior to this! I wouldn't be surprised if this person never did the admin work to get payment from patients, and now their ass is on fire, because the practice is not getting paid. I had an ok time being this dentist's patient. Overall it's ok, besides the fact that he always wanted to ask me about my country of origin. I understand this is your way of making small talk, but I'm not a fan of keeping discussing my country of origin at every single visit. Perhaps this is just an annoying white male thing. I'm not sure if it's my skin color (I am an African American woman), or what issue this person has but I am going to request my medical records and find a dental office that has staff who have positive and upbeat attitudes and don't sneer at or disrespect paying customers and patients. The dentist who works here Dr. Annas is very nice and listens to my issues (have been having problems with food getting stuck and he had helped me prevent more cavities and fixed my fillings). Despite this, I am not going to continue to give my money, time, or energy to a location whose staff clearly does not want me to be there. If this is your standard of care, you all really need to reevaluate who you have interacting with patients. It takes effort and energy to be mean and nasty to people. Judging by the previous reviews of rude staff members at this location, I see this continues to be a common issue.

I usually come in for x-rays, cleaning, and I fill in my front tooth which I chip frequently with some sort of enamel and a UV light hardener. It's nothing permanent, but I'm OK with that. I'm normally taken care of the same exact day, but this time was a little different. The new dentist said she didn't have enough time to take care of me and that was that. They didn't fill my tooth, which is specifically what I came in for, but they were too busy to do it. Despite me calling the same day of my appointment and asking if they had an opening. It was clearly just a hand into my pocket as if they needed to make a quick $200 off some x-rays and the cleaning. Now it feels like it's more about the sale and less about the smiles. Unfortunately my visits as an adult were always by emergency care and never by personal desire. The outside of the building is older - but the inside is delightfully decorated. This office has ample seating and a small refrigerator filled with water bottles for convenience. Per my recent visit with Dr Michael Thompson, his demeanor was calm and his bedside manner was stellar!! I was told by another dentist at another location that I would need a root canal - Instead I opted to get a second opinion on my own at Litchfield Endodontics with Dr Michael and he stated I did not need one and opted to fix my cracked tooth instead. The technology of their 3-D scanner made my visit efficient and smooth. I felt like I was in and out quickly. The staff at this office are kind and really made me feel comfortable.
