I arrived with so many nerves, but left there feeling so happy and grateful that I found Dr. Catalina and her staff. The staff are professional, helpful and follow all protocols to protect their patients health and safety. I come from a family background of folks in the medical field and know proper protocols for patient health and noticed each individual make the proper decisions to follow health safety and sanitation guidelines. I was impressed at how they handled each task and how Dr. Catalina herself made me feel at ease, confident and comfortable in the chair. I couldn't believe it, but yes.. now I regularly attend dental appointments and know that when I step into her office, I will be taken care of and welcomed. I feel transformed and love by Dr. Catalina and her staff. From the All-Knowing Receptionist to the Hygienist to the Boss and everyone in between! From my initial appointment to the last time I was there on the 17th of June she has given me bad vibes and I am already fearful of the dentist from having a bad experience with braces. I have no idea what her issue with me is and I put in my headphones to try and tune out the conversation she was having about me with another staff member. I'm not sure if it's my skin color (I am an African American woman), or what issue this person has but I am going to request my medical records and find a dental office that has staff who have positive and upbeat attitudes and don't sneer at or disrespect paying customers and patients. The dentist who works here Dr. Annas is very nice and listens to my issues (have been having problems with food getting stuck and he had helped me prevent more cavities and fixed my fillings). Despite this, I am not going to continue to give my money, time, or energy to a location whose staff clearly does not want me to be there. If this is your standard of care, you all really need to reevaluate who you have interacting with patients. It takes effort and energy to be mean and nasty to people. Judging by the previous reviews of rude staff members at this location, I see this continues to be a common issue.

Thought I just got something stuck in my cap. Nope I had a fracture in the root. So har to have my tooth pulled. This was part of a bridge so she had to cut the bridge and pull the molar. I put some headphones on and she was very gentle ( yeah I know still getting a tooth pulled) with it but before I knew it we were done. For context I avoided the dentist at all costs for nearly 25 years due to a pretty rough experience I had as a child which created a bit of a severe phobia (the kind where you seriously consider pulling your own teeth instead of going to the dentist). Like you'd expect my teeth became an issue that couldn't be ignored anymore and I began looking for a dentist. I stumbled across all west family dentistry and took a chance that has turned out to be an excellent choice. They have been incredibly patient and supportive all the way through & I could not have gone from being too afraid to sit in the chair to successfully getting a tooth extracted without their superb quality of care. From reception, to the hygienists, dental assistants, and the dentists themselves this place is great. I'd like to thank Dr Aguilar, his assistants one I believe is named Erica, the other who helped with my extraction I cant remember her name but she was very kind and helpful. The ladies at reception especially Heather are top tier, they have wonderful communication and help create an environment that makes someone in my position feel more comfortable.
