Let's say I walked in today and HAD to try a different place because they didn't have my reservation and didn't even seem concerned. They acknowledged they made the reservation, but since they were busy they couldn't do it. They said I they had openings later this week. I left work early to get there and just getting the appointment took days and was more work than I generally want to do for a service. So, when they didn't apologize and couldn't honor their agreement, I left. (I was not rude prior to leaving, even then I just said it was too much work and I had left work early, so no I didn't want more of their 'service'.) Went less than a mile down the street to a much more upscale salon and was able to get my hair cut right away for a very reasonable price. Unless you need to be patriotic (there's a big flag behind the empty reception area) while getting your hair cut, or have time to be jerked around, go somewhere else!

When I landed on my layover I was desperately trying to find a hair appointment for when I arrived in Lansing a couple of hours later. Thank God my google search landed me at Call of Beauty. I found them through Facebook and reached out immediately. When I found them, I was already on my connecting flight about to take off but they had a texting option. I sent a quick text and let them know what I was looking for and asked for appointment and availability. They responded immediately with great pricing and were available. I told them I would reach out as soon as I landed to confirm an appointment. Soon as I landed qns secured my rental and called to.confirm my appointment. I arrived 15 minutes later. As soon as I arrived l was greeted and offered cider and donuts! There was no wait and was taken immediately. Veronica, my stylist, did a quick consult and quoted me a great price for qah, deep condition, flat iron and small trim. Veronica is amazing! I had the best wash ever! I had a hot towel around my neck, a back rest cushion. I was in and out in 90 minutes and extremely happy with the final product!

Then Rachel Applin moved to a new salon called Changes Hair Design Out in Haslett, MI48840. This ids when Rachel took a turn for the worse. She no longer cared on how she was taking care of my nails. My real nails were splitting down the center so she used glue to fix my nails and then applied my new nails with more glue. I got a bad infection in my nails where I was put on a antibiotic to clear the infection. I was to have another appointment May 16, 2025 and received a reminder text From the Salon on May 14 reminding me of my appointment. When I showed up Rachel was not there, so someone got ahold of Rachel and she had told them she left me a text. Later on I received a text from Rachel saying she has decided not to do manicures on me and I would have to find someone else. My nails were really bad and no one was willing to do manicures on me. I saw my Family Doctor and he looked to see how my nails were doing and told me my nails are going to take three to six months to completely heal and stay away from getting any more manicures till my nails were healed. Rachel only stopped doing manicures on me because of the way things happen. I have pictures of what were and still look today. I am totally upset for what she did to me.
