When I landed on my layover I was desperately trying to find a hair appointment for when I arrived in Lansing a couple of hours later. Thank God my google search landed me at Call of Beauty. I found them through Facebook and reached out immediately. When I found them, I was already on my connecting flight about to take off but they had a texting option. I sent a quick text and let them know what I was looking for and asked for appointment and availability. They responded immediately with great pricing and were available. I told them I would reach out as soon as I landed to confirm an appointment. Soon as I landed qns secured my rental and called to.confirm my appointment. I arrived 15 minutes later. As soon as I arrived l was greeted and offered cider and donuts! There was no wait and was taken immediately. Veronica, my stylist, did a quick consult and quoted me a great price for qah, deep condition, flat iron and small trim. Veronica is amazing! I had the best wash ever! I had a hot towel around my neck, a back rest cushion. I was in and out in 90 minutes and extremely happy with the final product!

I should have not been put in that position to begin with since she is obviously a professional and does great work I'm gonna chuck it up to the fact I just don't think she has experience with fine curly hair like my own. I don't remember the woman's…read morename that cut my hair but it was just an OK experience; I would not pay full price at this salon or go back. She first washed my hair. When she was towel drying my hair, it felt as if she was pulling at my hair. The trim was really quick and she never even double checked that everything was even, which I thought was strange. Usually, at different salons, they would pull the front pieces out to make sure that they are even and also go around the bottom of the hair with scissors to make sure everything is even. There were a few pieces in the bangs that weren't even so I went home to fix that. She did ask my several times though on if everything was okay and I did have her trim the bangs a bit shorter and such. When she blow dried my hair, she didn't even use a brush but instead, just used her hand. The blowdryer was really got and it was hurting my right ear so I kept moving my head so it wouldn't hurt as much. Maybe this experience was due to me having a Groupon...I'm not sure. I know that there are many stylists there and they are not the same, but I wouldn't come back regardless.

For scheduling, she is flexible and open; in rare instances when she is not immediately available, Anna is fantastic about communicating openings in the next day or so. Jordan is absolutely fantastic. She's a great conversationalist and had me laughing for most of the appointment. Not only that, she's a fantastic stylist.
