This is one of the most unprofessional place of business. Melissa the owner is a cheat & a liar. She does not keep her promise. I paid almost $2000.00 for a service I did not receive. Don't recommend this place to anyone. It's been over 2 years & I still haven't got either the product or my money back. Doesn't even have the courtesy to call or try & reach a solution. Never have I dealt with such a liar & cheater. So today the owner Melissa & her goons ( office manager) DEANNA , hit an all time low. I called to tell them I would be stopping by next week to collect my money as I have received nothing for the $2000.00. Their extremely rude & arrogant office manager DEANNA calls me & threatens me that if I come, I would be arrested. Wow they sure know how to treat people. Rebecca's wigs review I would never recommend this place to someone dealing with hair loss. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, I was met with an unfriendly demeanor. I gave it a chance figuring maybe she had an 'off' day and decided to still schedule an appointment. Keep in mind, this person is different than who I had my consultation with. I recently lost all my hair and was diagnosed with alopecia areata after the extremely difficult loss of my mother. One thing to point out is, I was never asked anything about my hair loss during my consultation. Mind you, I am a mid-thirties woman, and have always been known for my "beautiful thick hair". So as if losing a part of my identity wasn't hard enough, I had a less than ideal consultation with this business. I was at the point where I decided to go fully in on investing in a quality wig. The first wig I purchased was online because I was too embarrassed to go into a salon to find a wig. When Melissa, who apparently is the owner, was assisting me to find a wig, she told me to take off my current wig then looked at it in disgust and said in a condescending tone, "I've never seen a wig like this before". I paid $500 for the wig she shamed me for having. Throughout the appointment she was very condescending and appeared annoyed after I didn't like the first wig I tried on. I was very uncomfortable the whole time. I brought my cousin- who is a hair stylist in the area with me. We never mentioned that she was a hairstylist, and she was trying to ask questions that would help me with finding the right wig. Melissa dodged every question and spoke to us in a very rude way. I finally tried on the 5th wig and ended up settling on it. During the appointment Melissa stated she's a trichologist, so I asked if there was anything she would recommend to help with my hairloss, and again, she dodged answering my question and said I'd need to go to my doctor. I've been to multiple doctors and 2 dermatologists. I mentioned that and she just changed the subject. She repeatedly told me I wouldn't need a wig grip even though I told her it felt like it could slide off easily and she just kept saying that with a properly fitting wig you don't need one. I have small children who are always climbing on me, and yes, it does slide back even with small movements through the day if I don't have a grip on. She provided no helpful education while I was there, such as caring for my wig/ properly fitting my wig, and she kept pulling it too low on my forehead; and when I would move it back she would pull it down again. I will say the only breath of fresh air was the helpful woman who checked me out, her name was Melanie, and she was the most compassionate, sweet, caring woman. She helped me with tips on fitting the wig properly, care instructions, how to properly use a wig grip and most importantly, she made me feel like she actually understood how hard hairloss is to go through, and how much it impacts your life. Melanie should be the owner of that store. She was an exceptional human being. Melissa clearly has no idea how impactful hairloss is on people, which is a shame, because you would think when someone is spending thousands of dollars in your place of business, you would treat them with dignity. read more

Not a good experience. Sized up as not a buyer and it was over. $25.00 wasted. They're looking for an easy sale

NOVEMBER 24/2025: I made a $1790.20 purchase: $1400.00 for human hair and $ 270.00 for a synthetic wig. As of yesterday, after 6-7 phone calls to owner Melissa, she never returned ANY calls. I wanted to remind her of the conditions of the human hair sale. The human hair wig was to be inner-cap tailored, color-rooted, and styled. Four physical trips resulted in either no record of my appointment or a 35-minute wait to sit for a style of the synthetic wig sold to me, which was way too small. One assistant offers to cut & enlarge the synthetic wig during the only hands-on appointment. Last week on 12/16, I confirmed (recorded) with the alterations assistant, "Karen," that the wig would not be ready until Dec. 30. I was overcharged $60.00, marked as the 6% state sales tax. Do not recommend unless you want to be given the runaround for weeks on end and with no estimates on when they will be finished. It seems there is no communication between the employees and even less communication with the customer. Was very saddened by this experience after reading so many great reviews. What a pleasant experience! I purchased a synthetic topper from Rebecca's about 18 months ago to address my thinning hair, but found I was wearing it less and less. It just felt uncomfortable and the style was probably too youthful for me. I went in last week and met with seamstress Karen, who repositioned the clips for a better fit. She also encouraged me to get the topper cut into a style I liked better that framed my face. I then met with LaAngel, who cut the topper to perfection! I've purchased wigs from here more than once, and it's always been an amazing experience. The staff are highly knowledgeable, professional, kind, and compassionate. I especially loved working with Beth. She helped me to find just what I wanted, and made sure that the fit was perfect and that I understood how to care for my wigs. I stopped in to Rebecca's wigs last week for the first time! I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will be starting chemo in the next few weeks. I have very long hair and was sad to find out it would be gone. I spent a couple hours trying on wigs and could have tried on even more! Nancy was sooo wonderful along with the other staff. I ended up getting 2 wigs one of which matches my hair now almost identically! They also offer other services and I plan to return for them along with a head shave when it is time to wear my new wig! I'm a first time wig buyer; therefore I needed professional help. I did not get this at Rebecca's wigs in Farmington. I told Suzanne I did not want a heat sensitive wig. I found a shag Bob but needed to order my color. You have to pay up front and sign a not return release . Had I been able to use American Express I would have stopped payment. When I picked it up as I was walking out the door she told me not to let the bottom of the wig come in contact with clothing. At that point I realized she wasn't listening when I ordered it. It was heat sensitive and I couldn't return it. Do yourself a favor go to a reliable place or order online and save yourself $100. read more

I will be starting chemo soon and since I know nothing about wigs, I decided to book a one-hour consultation with a professional, during which I expected I would find out: 1. the best wigs for chemo patients, 2. how to care for and store a wig, 3. input on the best style and color for me. I got none of this that was not prompted forth by me. The 'professional' just stood and stared at me with a half-smile until I asked a question, which, after answering, she went back to staring expentantly for me to ask another question. After 45 minutes of this and trying on wigs, I was tired of leading the 'consultation' and decided to leave with paid time on the table. I told her there were three wigs I thought I liked but I would come back with my sister so I could get her opinion on which I should get. The woman said "would you like to order one now so you won't have to pay another $25?" !! It is one thing to charge a fee for a 'Professional Consultant' (using the term loosely), but a fee to come back and shop? Mind-boggling! Yeah, if I get a wig it will not be here. And if you are not wise to the world of wigs, you won't learn anything here. Keep your $25. read more

I did have an appointment for a full consultation. I expressed concern about the fit and that it looked like it was popping up off my head and was assured it was the right fit and it just needed to be thinned and styled. i got it thinned 3x and styled and it still is not right; and i have been told by other people that it is too big. After getting another wig for $80 i have something to compare it to so i know when i say it is too big and i was not fitted right. The new wig i got fits my head and does not have extra material bunching up making it look like it is popping off my head. I unfortunately am a customer that did not get the right fitting or direction for a wig from your store. The wig I got from you does not have a way to adjust the size, there is no way to rectify this that I have been told from your store. I can appreciate your response but it doesnt fix anything. read more

So insensitive. Starting chemotherapy due to a young breast cancer diagnosis that came out of nowhere. After not finding exactly what I'm looking for at Rebecca's wigs, I asked for my head measurements. They refused to give them to me and said that's their information so THEY can help me find a wig - they told me to look up tutorials on how to get my head measurements online. I understand that they want the business, but as a wig salon they should have the goal of helping women feel beautiful during a very difficult time in their life regardless of where they find a wig that does that for them. I never thought I would be wig shopping at the age of 38, but when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, this became my reality. I stopped in Rebecca's without an appointment, and they welcomed me with open arms. They helped dry my tears as I tried on what felt like almost every wig in the shop, and never did they make me feel like I was taking too long. They just kept bringing me wigs to try. My visit to the studio was at the end of December 2018. I was interested in a topper. I made an appointment knowing I would have a one on one with the hair consultant. Well to my surprise she was also interacting with another customer and I felt like I didn't receive the custom service I should have. At times she would start asking questions and I didn't know if she was talking to me or the other person. I just didn't feel she was caring about my needs like she should have. The other person bought 2 wigs and I only bought a topper, maybe that was the reason! I really like the products they carry but I felt the service wasn't geniune. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and I was told I would lose my hair within a couple of weeks of my 1st treatment, needless to say I was so sad. I decided to cut my hair short and buy a wig before I lost my hair. I did not know what to expect I just remember the awful wigs my grandma wore. Believe me it is not your grandma's wigs anymore!
