I just want to say I was thoroughly impressed with the courtesy and honesty I received from Aaron at A1.

Went to a gold and silver place to sell my coins and they offered me $200 for the whol lot, which…read morewas weird because I had over $250 in USD so I opted not to sell to them. Today I decided to try again and I went to Archangel and dealt with Chris. Talk about a day and night difference. Everyone was friendly in the store, Chris didn't make me feel rushed or pressured. He went through my whole coin collection which the other place didn't do. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions regardless how silly they were. This seems like a family run business with lots of repeat customers who like to chat. Not only did I feel like I got a fair deal, but I actually had a pleasant time while I was there. They do not purchase jewelry, as a few people came in asking. Would recommend 100%!

While looking through a box of coins, my father mistakenly began examining a box that was apparently awaiting appraisal. The box was unattended, and he believed it was available for customers to browse. As soon as an employee informed him of the mistake, my father immediately stopped and apologized. Unfortunately, the situation did not end there. The employee raised his voice to my father in front of other customers and staff and continued to berate him even after he had apologized multiple times. What could have been resolved with a simple explanation instead became a public confrontation. My father is a 76-year-old disabled veteran, and the continued hostility was upsetting enough that he began experiencing symptoms related to PTSD and felt he needed to leave the store. We left immediately and will not return. My father made an honest mistake, acknowledged it immediately, and apologized. He did not deserve to be treated with disrespect. We have always had positive experiences at other coin shops where we were treated with professionalism, courtesy, and respect. Unfortunately, our experience here was the exact opposite.

In days of old, the word pawn is an important word from the Roman era that meant "platinum," and…read moretranslated to cloth. In these times it was not gold and silver that were important to the people, but clothing. The working class would pawn their clothes to meet their needs. These days, no matter what class of society we come from a pawn shop is a place to exchange goods for one's needs. While it may not be clothing that we find as useful as the Romans, many other things can be pawned or sold to meet your needs . Come on in and see what treasures that have been lost and need to be found. Do you remember when we used a hand shake to make a deal? Can you take someone on their word of honor? These days, our world has been shaken up, everything cost more than it did before. Where are we to find the stable footing for our future. You might want to consider a more tangible asset. For all these panning services this is the business to use. If you are looking for something different to put that fiat currency into. They carry a wide variety of silver, gold, platinum to trade those dollars into . If your into historical items come and discover what "moneys" of the United States used to look like. Many coins from around the world are for sale too. These purchases must be made with cash though. So if your looking to buy gold, silver and old coins bring green cash for the exchange. Are you looking to trade in some old coins. Do you need some money on the spot, then this is the place to be. You will get a fair market value for what your selling? The owner posts the daily values for gold and silver spot trading too. Your going to get the best integrity from the employees here whether buying or selling. When you come in ask for John he is an enjoyable human that loves what he does! He was the guy that aided and still serves all our coin purchases. He still believes in a hand shake as someone's word. Let's have a great day now!

On the coin side, it's by John, and he was honestly great to work with true gentleman very patient and knowledgeable. He took his time going through our coin collection, explained things clearly, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. You can tell he knows what he's doing, but more importantly, he treats you with respect, which goes a long way in a space like this. The other side of the shop is more focused on toy collectibles. We didn't get a chance to meet the owner there, but the woman working was friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe was positive. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're into coins or collectibles. Good service, knowledgeable people, and a unique setup having both businesses under one roof.

I came into this location about three weeks ago and had a good experience with Jessica. We looked…read moreat some jewelry and said we'd come back another day. She was super helpful, friendly, and knew her stuff. So we came back on May 12th around 1:30 PM ready to buy, and I really wish we had just turned around when we didn't see her. No one greeted us.....not one employee. The only person who even said anything was the security guard, and funny enough, he actually remembered us from our last visit he ever said "hey welcome back" when he saw us. We started walking around, and a few employees were just chatting with each other. They saw us, definitely made eye contact, but no one came over or said anything. After about 5-10 minutes of us looking around and being ignored, an older white guy (semi-tall, gray hair, black frame glasses) was standing nearby. He didn't greet us either, but he had no problem going straight to two women who walked in after us and offered them something (which they ended up not even taking). Still, he didn't say a word to us. At that point, it started to feel personal, i felt we were being judged or profiled. I don't know if it was race or just assumptions based on how we looked, but it didn't sit right. We ended up sitting down and I told my boyfriend, "If no one says anything to us in 2 minutes, we're leaving." Finally, a taller Hispanic guy with a bald head and glasses came over. He had been chatting with someone when we first walked in, so it's not like he didn't see us. When I said, "We're being ignored by everyone," he apologized and started helping us. He showed us two rings, and we asked him to put in an offer on one. He said he'd go check with "him"..... I assume a manager or the owner. He came back like two minutes later with an offer that honestly felt like a joke. No effort to talk to us, no questions about what we were looking for, just flat energy all around. I've been to other Max Pawn locations, and the experience was totally different, way more welcoming and helpful. This location didn't feel that way at all. It felt like we were bothering them just by being there. I really hope whoever runs this store checks the footage from that day and see how we were completely ignored. These employees are being paid to sell, and it didn't feel like they cared to do that. Definitely not planning to come back to this location.
