I had some wedding rings to sell, and visited LV Jewelry Exchange after reading all of the great Yelp reviews. Initially, I was a bit peeved, because I called during business hours and got the voicemail. Thinking perhaps they were just on another line, I drove down there, to find a sign on the door saying they'd stepped out and would return in about 2 hours. Ugh. I went to do some errands, and to my surprise, the proprietor, Aaron, called me back! I returned with my rings. Aaron is a self-described straight shooter, and that is an accurate assessment. He explained that he wouldn't be able to fully assess the ring without it being clean, and gave me instructions on how to clean it. He also suggested that I find the purchase paperwork, as that might increase the offer. I returned the next day, and waited while he gave a VERY full explanation another set of customers about how diamond values are calculated. It's obvious that he knows his stuff! Unfortunately, I couldn't find my paperwork, and ultimately decided not to sell my rings to LV Jewelry Exchange, but I felt like Aaron was fair and honest, if a little curt.
