I know why Lance and this company have such a great reputation. Refreshingly honest and competent, would definitely recommend.

The two gentlemen were very personable, obviously knowledgeable of their craft, and considerate; from protecting the carpeting, to the arrangement of the gas logs for proper air flow and aesthetics. They even gave us a recommendation for a good place to look into replacing our gas-piped grill. I especially want to brag on their kindness. We have a dog, and I know service men either love or hate dogs investigating them and barking, but they were so patient. Second, my dog is an epileptic rescue, who had a bad experience with a groomer that has left him terrified of the iPhone notification bell, to the point that we keep our phones on vibrate. During the service call, one of their phones went off, and they immediately noticed the panicked reaction from the dog. Once I explained the situation, both immediately set their phones to vibrate. I know it's a dog, and I know they were there to provide a service (which they did with thorough professionalism), but their kindness and compassion throughout the appointment was much appreciated. We will definitely be keeping them for services for our gas fireplace. I cannot recomme

They then proceeded to tell me each of the 3 chimneys were unsafe. I asked for estimates for repairs and was told that none of them could be repaired for a wood burning fireplace and that none of them were up to code. Our cabin was built less than 20 years ago but they claimed the chimney was too narrow to be repaired. I was told I needed flu liners and woodburning stoves as my only option -- interestingly, when I looked into it for the cabin, I would have had to special order a stove base with side panels because the chimney and the hearth were too big! They never got back to me with the promised photos or detailed estimates. I was told the 2 regular houses would probably run about $8000 to $10,000 and for the cabin, it would be much more because it was so big. I had had all three cleaned 2 years before by a fellow who retired and at the time, he said they all looked great. We hadn't used 2 of the fireplaces at all in that time and we used the third a total of 3 times yet I was told they were very dirty and it was lucky I'd called to get them cleaned.

He then checked the wood burning stove and said it was outdated and he couldn't clean or inspect it (home is less than 25yrs old). He said a report would be sent to me with pictures explaining the problems and left. The next day I get an invoice for $349 and when I call the office to ask about the difference in quote the office manager (as she identified herself) was rude and condescending telling me that there might have been endangered animals in my chimney and that their insurance doesn't allow them to clean outdated equipment. While trying to explain that I was unhappy paying and not getting a cleaning she cut me off several times mid-sentence and was very rude from beginning to the end of the conversation when I asked to speak to the owner or manager. A few hours later I get a threatening email from Dion Martorella - Ops Mgr who says I "have refused to pay my invoice" and goes thru a whole list of reasons why they are right and I am wrong. I never refused to pay an invoice and just wanted to find out why it was not the agreed upon price and why my chimney was not cleaned while their tech was only at my house for 48mins including being on the phone for a portion of the time. Horrible experience and I can't believe they're in business with multiple other reviews that match my experience.

However when they came this past November they told me that I needed a new remote for the fireplace that would cost just over $200. This seemed high, but I agreed to pay in advance so that it could be ordered and was assured that in a week or so it would arrive and they would contact me to come out and program it to the fireplace. That was on November 12, 2025. To date, I have not received the new remote and after several phone calls and texts have not succeeded in getting any resolution to the situation. Currently, we are not able to get return phone calls. My next steps to get my money back will need to involve legal routes. I do not recommend anyone falling for the "new remote" scam and I would be very reluctant to do business with these people. Ed S February 23, 2026

They seemed to be knowledgable and professional. We had a broken remote that they said they would be back by to replace within the week. As of today, October 8th, 2025, nearly 9 months later, we have not been able to reach them for our follow up paid services. Both my husband and I have called time and time again and left multiple voicemails and no one has returned our calls. Furthermore, no one has come out to replace the remote or to perform the second service we paid for. We wondered if there was a death in the business or if the business itself had gone under, but upon looking at reviews it seems that they are performing great service for others as recently as a few weeks ago. I'm not sure why they have neglected to fulfill the work we've already paid them to do, but leaving a google and yelp review is the first option we have to resolve the issue. There are further steps after that that we'll have to take if this doesn't solve it. My advice for those looking to see if these folks are a good option--I suppose make sure you end up on the "will service" list of customers instead of the "will take payment and refuse service" list of customers.

We accepted the proposal, signed a contract, and he said I had to make a $500 downpayment so he could order the chimney liner. I wrote him a check, which he cashed immediately. He texted a few days later and said it was backordered. Then no contact. I called and left a voicemail message after a week, then texted after two weeks. Finally in November someone texted me back saying Bradley was away on family emergency. I left him alone over the holidays and contacted him again the first week of January 2026 by texting, and got no response. I left another voicemail the next day, no response. I also left him a message in the Yelp app - always expressing my condolences. The last time I called him, it directly hung up, so apparently he blocked my phone number. Running a small business can be hard, and they can experience hard times. I've always been friendly and understanding, giving Bradley the benefit of any doubt. I wish he were just honest if he needed to use my money to get by temporarily and would commit to honoring our contract eventually. Instead he stole our money and is avoiding me. It's between him and God now, except I strongly suggest you avoid this business so you're not hurt as well. Now I have a cracked chimney that is leaking and no money to repair it.

Called this company several times, not return call or answer. Had 2 other companies come out who said we have cracks in our chimney, that were not recent AND a piece of exposed wood in the fireplace (rendering out fireplace unsafe to burn anything). I found a number for this company (by calling the company who does their financing) and called them. They sent a tech out who gave us an estimate for the chimney cracks. Said nothing about the exposed wood. We asked to speak to the owner, was told we could not. We asked for their local address, the receipt has a company in Dallas, they refused to give me their Knoxville address. We are out 250 BUT had we known about these issues, we would have negotiated them prior to buying our house and possibly would not have bought the house as I really want a fireplace!
