A few years back I had A1 come to my home to clean my three chimneys. Efraim came out and was very did a great job. About a month ago I was looking for someone to remove a pellet stove and install a wood burning stove in its place. After many phone calls to about 10 different companies and getting no where with these places I gave A1 a call to see if they knew of anyone who could do it. Turns out they do it themselves! Maybe they do good work, but I have no way of knowing. Made a morning appointment and day of the appointment they texted to say they were running late. Late afternoon I texted them to ask if they were still going to show. Efram called almost immediately to apologize for not showing up and promised I'd be the first job the following morning, early in the morning. At nearly noon, having not shown up and not communicated I texted to ask if they were still going to show up. Again, Efram call almost immediately to apologize say he forgot to tell his scheduler. As an apology he offered a discount and said to call the office to reschedule. After 3 calls and several text they have ghosted me. No reply, nothing. Maybe they do good work but given that they don't show and don't return calls, it makes you wonder. read more

Had our chimney cleaned yesterday for the 1st time in about 18 years. The crew was very good- called me to let me know they were about 10 minutes out. Were not flustered at all by our official 'greeter' my 12 1/2 year old Aussie, who insisted on being patted. They went right to work, and had the cleaning done very quickly. Also did an inspection of some cracks we were concerned by, and gave my husband suggestions for how to correct them. We also found out that the spark arrester we had put on way back when had vanished, maybe in a high wind storm or something, so will be buying one of those. They worked around our solar panels carefully. We will happily use them again- hopefully more often that every 18 years! read more

We have been using Efraim and his family run business since last year to sweep our wood burning stove in our (very rural and out of the way) forest home. During a rain spell this year, we were unable to burn wood due to our clogged stove and our house was freezing.
