It was not even a half hour later when a truck pulled up to my domicile. It was a guy named Jacob(Jake?) who I have dealt with before. Very nice, respectful and efficient. He got my engine "jumped" and afterward said that I really should replace it ASAP. I took his advice. I drove to a parts retailer and the woman tested my battery, told me that it was defective. I bought it and she installed it. Things and autos cost money. Well worth it to have a running vehicle.

First time I was 8.5 months pregnant and my car needed work done that meant I had to leave it. Knowing this Lance the manager arranged for my car to be delivered to my house when it was finished as I had no ride there to get it (fantastic customer service). Another time I ordered high end wipers, one of the clips went missing and so the wiper wasn't able to be attached. They (Bayside) ordered another new set on their dime just to get the piece needed to attach to my car. This past week I had to have my AC fixed and then one of my exhaust pipes wasn't opening properly. Not only did they fit me in first thing in the am but they were willing to work with my husband to troubleshoot the issue. During this they found a hole in one of my lines, repaired it free of charge. These guys are the ONLY shop I will bring my car to here in Spring Hill. They are honest, reliable, and treat me and my family with respect. This is not a take 5 shop, they are going to take the time to try and figure out what issue your car has and will call with price options just so you know you're not getting "taken for." I read the below review for 1 star and I completely disagree with their review, especially about Lance who has been nothing short of awesome every time we need his help.

I have purchased new cars every 3 years until I retired and decided to purchase a used car, something to get me around town. The vehicle was my choice and I looked at several different cars available and also different car lots/dealerships and came back to Golden Oldies. They helped me to stay in my price range and were not pushy like the big dealerships. Prices were comparable to pricing on Edmunds and other websites. Shortly after buying the car, I began experiencing problems with the traction light, then it was the engine light came on they just reset it, then it was the serpentine belt, then it was my passenger window motor, then the car started smoking really bad. Since then, I've had to bring the vehicle back multiple times for repairs, which has been extremely inconvenient and frustrating. Despite these repeated visits, the issues have not been properly resolved. I expected a reliable vehicle, especially so soon after purchase, but instead I've been dealing with constant back-and-forth and no lasting solution. What's most disappointing is the lack of accountability and urgency in addressing the problem from the sales person Tony from the Springhill location. Never returns calls back. Communication has been inconsistent, and Sam the manager in the shop in Hudson is very rude and pretty much said it's an old car you get what you get. At this point, I would not recommend this dealership to others. Buying a car should come with peace of mind, not ongoing stress and repeated trips to the service department.

This is a little late, but still relevant. We had a king pin installed on our class A coach. After…read morethey inspected it and said it needed a king pin, I submited it to out warranty company who authorized the repair. A few days later RDI said the threads at the top of the knuckle, where the grease cap goes was damaged and needed a new knuckle. After getting the estimate RDI was told to stop work in case it needed to be inspected. I told them to order the knuckle but not complete the work. After not hearing back from our warranty company I called them and long story, they wanted to inspect. Called RDI and the work was completed. Thanks RDI. After looking at the knuckle, it appeared as if a hammer was used at the top, as if driving in the king pin. It certainly could have been repaired with a thread file. Fast forward a couple months and the coach was taken to another shop that was local to me for an oil change and they pointed out the lower grease cap on the knuckle that RDI replaced was missing. There was a little dirt inside the area and little grease. I contacted RDI and their reponse was that there were no parts left over when the intial repair was completed and if it fell out it's on them. I asked for reimbursement for the cap and they stated "there's no way to verify when it fell out or if it was something we caused" I advised them if it wasn't installed it's on them, if it was installed and it fell out it's on them. They never responded back.
