Since everything had to come off anyway, I bought a package deal online from Detroit Axle that included new bearings, rotors, and brake pads for all four wheels. Angel was incredibly accommodating and explained he could easily install the parts I provided.I shopped around for mobile mechanics in the Valrico/Riverview area, and Fair Tech was by far the most affordable. Out of the first five mechanics I called, two never responded and three were significantly more expensive than Angel. Quick Heads-Up: Google still lists Fair Tech as a mobile mechanic, but Angel has since opened a small garage and works out of that physical location now.The turnaround time was fantastic. I dropped my car off around 10:00 AM yesterday. They already had a car on the lift but assured me mine was next. Filled air pressure in all 6 tires, topped off windshield fluid, added a half quart of synthetic oil in the generator to top that off and fixed the factory radio that Camping World in Tampa told me was dead after they had it 15 months for repairs! The true definition of a local owned family run business…read more The owner Jim knows his radiators as he immediately was able to calm my fears over the phone when i called in a frantic state asking about my car which was overheating due to radiator problems. So hard to find a good mechanic because of the fear of price gouging & the countless number of dishonest mechanic stories, and never once did i get that feeling from here. After being able to get a tow to their location, I was immediately serviced by Jim & his crew. He was up front & honest with me all the way & took his time out to explain exactly what was going on with my car's radiator and heating problem. Jim also was able to provide me with a few options on what to do to fix my car and save me ALOT of money in unnecessary repairs. WHO DOES THAT! The whole radiator replacement took about 6 hours (due to waiting for various parts to come in from the suppliers) but time flew by as i was chatting the time away with Jim, his mother & the other customers in the store on politics and daily headlines. Fortunately i made the right choice, Josh was amazing. He was honest,, thorough and reliable. He even showed up on time plus He save me over $1000 in auto repairs.! His quote,including his mobile fee, was less than all the other quotes for my repairs . I was told I needed a new alternator, tuneup and Possibly a cracked engine block. when he checked the charging system It was fine. The only problem was a loose battery terminal. No alternator was needed, nor a tuneup his only charge was $50 for his visit. He didn't even want to charge me for an oil change. He said everything was fine.come back at 85,000 for the oil change.
