Definitely recommend A1 Fence! I sent online requests for quotes to three companies, and Mark (the owner) was the first and only one to respond. He called within 24 hours. Our neighborhood has an HOA, and he was helpful with the waiting game for approval from the neighborhood. I had an estimate in hand within a few days even though we hadn't moved into the house/city yet. The install only took two days, and we think the fence is perfect! We got the cedar with pine posts with cap and trim and three gates. The gates are heavy duty with three hinges and sturdy hardware. The outcome is great with no hassle throughout the process. The fence around our driveway and parking area was not the best quality but was in good shape when we purchased our home 11 years ago, but in the fall of 2019, it needed to be replaced. Mark Dolan responded promptly to my inquiry and gave me an estimate within a few days of my initial call. He was friendly and knowledgeable and, since his estimate was reasonable, we hired him for the job and were placed on his schedule within a week or two. His crew arrived on time and worked diligently throughout the day, almost completing the project in one day. They returned the following morning to finish up before lunch. They removed the old fence and took care of the disposal. What they installed was a 5 foot semi-private fence with two gates, one a single entry, the other a double gate for vehicle passage. After completion, the crew cleaned up quite thoroughly. This fence is much better quality than the one that preceded it, a world of difference. We could tell the old fence had been built by a novice, but it became starkly evident after our new fence was finished. The hinges and gate latches are examples of the superior quality and finish of this fence. It has now been two months since the fence was installed, and we still couldn't be any more pleased! I am not easy to please when concerning my home and my complicated fence turned out perfect. And of the nicest quality, no skimping on posts. Very nice. Oh! I don't need to forget that I had a neighbor who was trying to cause legal difficulties. He demanded that we stay out of every inch of his property. I had wanted to put it on the property line, mainly because it was on a rise and I could block annoying neighbor out. He promised to put gnomes all over it. And ugly things. Lol. He said the police would be called and we would not be able to build it. BTW, he had at first mention of a fence, told me where I needed to put it, giving him access to about an extra 10-15 ft of my home. I have 1/3 an acre.
