One time they left the door open long enough for our pet to escape into the alligator-filled river in our backyard. Another visit, they serviced the filter but never put the top back on. The lid blew off like a rocket, could've taken someone's head off, and our pool nearly drained completely. That caused thousands in damage, and they never paid a dime. We got a half a** apology at Best. In writing. The previous owner of my home had just replaced the pump, but almost immediately they came back saying I needed to replace it again. Then within a couple months they insisted I had to replace the light too. I can't even count how many thousands of dollars I gave them, only to end up with even more thousands in damage they caused and refused to fix. We finally switched to Tropical Pools, and they've been awesome. If you're looking for pool service, stay far away from Golden Eagle."

The gentleman who comes to clean our pool weekly is always here around the same time, same day. While he's cleaning the pool he takes photos and sends them to my husband to let him know he's been here (normally I'm home, but I don't handle that stuff lol). Also, the reason I mentioned those inch worms are because when a rain comes or overnight the pool can be covered in them. Seriously, they're everywhere. Coastal Pool Care manages to get all of them. While having a bugless pool doesn't last (due to nature and weekly cleanings), he does a very good job ridding the pool of these annoying bugs, checking the chemicals, and being prompt and on time. I used to use pinch a penny in jax beach, but their markup on parts is a little out of control. I found a motor on amazon for 156, and pinch a penny had the same type of motor for 253, plus 85 per hour to come and put it on. unfortunately, even though they are wonderful people, they will not come out and put on a motor that you don't buy from them. so anyhoo, I called poolwerx in jax beach and the guy there said he would be willing to come and put on the motor, but he charges $175!!!! so that was totally out of the question, even though he was a very nice guy. he must have thought I lived in ponte vedra or something! lol!!!! i'm just a poor atlantic beach housewife who has a hubby with a big appetite, so I have to pinch pennies so I can feed him! lol! so I do a local search, and the first name I come across is HENDERSON POOL SERVICE. all I can say is, God was truly looking out for me that day! I call them up and talk with the sweetest young lady, teriea, the office manager, and I swear she was an angel sent from heaven. I explained the situation, and would you believe it, not only were they willing to come out and put on a motor that they did not sell me, but they only charged me $80!!!! and I got lucky enough to get her husband, the service manager come to find out, to come out and put it on. he also has 19 years of pool experience, so I felt very comfortable with him putting it on. not only was he professional, neat and quick, he was also extremely friendly and down to earth, making it a true pleasure to deal with him and his wife. I had a nice time chatting with him while he installed it, and although the large seal that came in the seal kit didn't fit correctly, he was able to use the old seal and didn't even try to sell me an unnecessary part like a lot of people would have done. this was my first time dealing with this company, but I can tell you they are honorable and honest.
