They advertise the price is for a cord of wood which is 8'x4'x4'. What they are actually selling is what is called a face cord which is 8'x4'x16". Upon delivery they dump the load which I agreed to and started stacking myself. I quickly discovered that about 50% of the load was cut to a 12" length vice the standard 16" length and consequently fell through my wood rack until I dug through the pile to find enough 16" pieces to put on the bottom row to stop that from happening. Additionally, about 15% of the load was small irregular shaped chunks that were unstackable and are usable for a burn pit at best. There was also a lot of pieces of free bark. It appeared that this load was the cleaning out the remains and left overs of a wood pile. I called to give a heads up about quality control for future customers as a courtesy to the owner and got a lot of excuses about how you have to expect this with loads of firewood. When I pointed out to the owner that I have bought a cord of firewood each the last 12 years (the guy I bought from the last 4 years was out of town) and this was the first time I got pieces cut short (which was a deliberate choice to cut them that way on his part) or odd shaped chunks he hung up the phone. Do not recommend using this business.
