I took my 2023 Mazda CX5 in to have it detailed for the first time since buying it. I used their Clipper coupon and was kind of hoping I wouldn't get a "discounted" job for a discounted price. Not the case. We had construction all summer long and the inside was covered in fine dust from the construction. Marlon and Co. did a fantastic job with it. Everything lookes like new again and they're were no greasy surfaces or places where it looked like the job was rushed. I've been pretty wary of some services these days as some businesses seem to be doing the least for as much as they can charge - not so with A2 Auto Image. Paid a good price to have my car detailed inside and out... Inside actually was a pretty good job but the outside was less then satiisfactory. Exterior of car was to be washed and waxed. Upon pick up, I found that numerous pine sap drops had not been removed and yet I was assured that the truck HAD been waxed. Not sure how that'd be possible......also truck was finished a full day after it was due to be done.... Nice owner but would not return a 2nd time UPDATE I was contacted by the owner who generously offered to 'make things right' after reading the above review. Unsatisfaction is what you will retain after receiving A2 Auto's services. Brought my truck to them for an interior and exterior detail 40 minutes away from home which led me to go with the most expensive package they offer known as the "ELITE" package. Upon arrival i was excited to see my 2020 silverado to look brand new again after spending $280 on their services. On my drive home i couldn't help but notice all of the smudge marks on my mirrors, windows, cluster, and eapecially the corners of my mirrors and windows where it hadn't even been attempted to be cleaned. It's pretty bad when you think to yourself there's no way i would pickup my date with my truck looking like this. I would not recommend A2 Auto Image to anyone. read more

Never will I ever again get a tan fabric interior in a car! A new pair of dark jeans in the summertime will get that seat blue in no time flat. Plus, after 3 years of on the road eats, dogs riding shot gun, and many a cup of spilled coffee the seats looked dirty and dingy. So, when it came time to turn my lease in I was afraid and ashamed to take it back to the dealership. It was just SO filthy and I knew I'd get charged for a cleaning. I had heard good things about A2 Auto Image so I decided to get my own cleaning vs. getting a bill from the dealership and took my car here. I could not have been more thrilled with the results! It was like my car was brand new! I wished I had taken it in earlier so I could have enjoyed a clean car too. They got the seats back their pristine condition, the dashboards, touch screens, etc were all polished up like new. There wasn't even a single piece of lint to be found on the floors. I was sad to get in and ruin the beauty! On the outside they did a wonderful job cleaning up the tires, polishing up the paint, and buffing out a few scratches I had along the bumpers and the doors. I was SO impressed by the job. Plus the staff was courteous and my car was ready on time. A win across the board. My new car has dark leather seats so it's not quite as pronounced when I have spill but if I ever do, I know who to go to to take care of it! read more

Such a scam. My wife took our car there. The employee who was smoking in the office and refused to put it out Around my pregnant wife, then walked the car with my wife explaining everything would be cleaned wiped down and vacuumed. My wife paid. When the car was done an hour later my wife inspected the car to find it was not cleaned at all on the inside. the employee then told my wife she needs to pay extra and come back a different day. I had both of my cars done here. My SUV was great but someone decided to hot rod my GTO when they required i leave it i overnight. If you have a car with serious hp, stay and wait for it to be finished, don't leave it overnight. I ended up having to pay to have a lot of work done afterward and they didn't want to take any ownership. read more

I hadn't been to A2 Auto Image but the reviews were good so I checked them earlier this month. Appointment scheduling was easy and the person on the phone was helpful. Car drop off was easy also, although it was a little confusing as to where to go once I arrived. (If you're facing the building from the road, the office door is on the left side) Note - there is not a shuttle service to get you to/from home/work, so be prepared to have a friend drop you or to grab an Uber. When I picked up my car at the end of the day, I was disappointed to find my car covered in pollen and dust from the parking lot. I understand that things blow around outside, but if I'm spending $200 on a detail package, I expect my car to be spotless when I arrive. On that note, I found multiple large wax spots on my car, as well as a new scuff (that rubbed off, but still...), and various issues with the interior. (some crumbs, flecks of things, dust, etc.) And I unfortunately did not look closely at my trunk until I arrived home, but the trunk was not very clean either. To the credit of A2 Auto Image, they bent over backwards to fix everything I pointed out when I was inspecting my vehicle. However, I ended up spending nearly an hour there for my pickup, missed an evening appointment I had as a result, and was just generally underwhelmed with the end result. (despite the fixes, which I appreciate) Bottom line, if I'm spending that much money on my car, I expect better the first time. :\ read more

I recently took my car into A2 Auto Image for detailing and I was NOT disappointed. I have not been the nicest to the very tan interior of my 2010 Mazda 3. Since I purchased it in 2010, my seats have progressively gotten darker and darker, to the extent that I thought I would never be able to have them look nice again. The folks at A2 Auto Image were recently able to remove a large caked-on water stain and splash spots from the roof and hood of our 2010 Ford Fusion. The car had been parked in a Chicago parking garage and an overhead air condition unit left quite a mess. Although we tried to remove the stains ourselves, no amount of cleaning seemed to work. True it's an old car, but it's in good shape. So we decided to take it to A2 Auto Image. We were very pleased with the work. The car looks brand new inside and out (well, as new as a 2010 car can look anyway)! The owner is very kind. These folks are my new heroes. After 5 years my car was a rolling pigsty. Crap and cruft everywhere. I explained that I just wanted it cleaned up. They said their most basic cleaning was $35. After seeing the mess they tacked on another $15. I couldn't argue with this at all. They cleaned out all the crap and vacuumed the hell out the car. Bonus: they cleaned both sides of the windshield, too. They'd told me it would take about 90 minutes but it was done in, at most, an hour. They get extra bonus points for making the appointment for the day after I called. $50 was more than reasonable for all the work they did. At some near future point I'll bring it back for the full shebang. I have no doubts they'll do a fantastic job. read more

If you ever need a car or truck detailed I cannot say enough about A2 Auto-Image at 122 Jackson Plaza in Ann Arbor. I recently bought a used Jeep Cherokee from a guy who owned 2 Bulldogs and the car looked like he had used it as a kennel for a year. There was hair over everything and it smelled terrible. I spent 6 hours with a shop vac trying to clean it up before I gave up. The car was so nasty inside that I was able to knock $700 bucks off the asking price when I bought it, that's how bad it was. A2 Auto-Image not only got all the dog hair out but conditioned all the interior vinyl and plastic and more importantly the car smells great. I can't say enough good things about them. read more

Overall, I had a great experience getting my car detailed here. First off, I was two hours late for my appointment, due to a calendar gaffe on my part. The staff at A2 still found a way to fit me into their busy Saturday schedule. They didn't throw any guilt my way, they simply made the best of the situation! Secondly, the value for what you get from their Express Detail is pretty amazing. When I think detailing, I think of a $200 package that includes someone using a Dremel tool to wheel-polish your car charger port. A2 has deluxe detailing packages with all the bells and whistles, but you cannot beat what you get from the $35 Express Detail. For somebody like me, who drives a company car and not a Murcielago, it's a great way to get the car spiffed up before I need to drive clients out to a data center. Sure, there are a few things that might not be included. There were a few crumbs left in the door pockets, and my dash panels weren't exactly glistening with protective chemicals. Yet the car was worlds apart from the condition in which I dropped it off! And besides, that's what the deluxe packages are for, which I'll be getting at the end of this icky winter season. The Express package is a great way to keep your vehicle at a steady level of cleanliness throughout the year, and maintain the results from a Deluxe detailing package. read more

Preface: I've never paid for detailing previous to this. My car is generally filthy. My sister had a recurring A/C condenser issue that caused the carpets of her car to get soaked, repeatedly. After a year of this moisture, the car had gotten musty and was full of mold spores. With my mold allergy, I could only ride in the car with all the windows rolled down. I took it to A2 Auto Image for a tear-down, interior detailing, and carpet replacement. It was an expensive ordeal - $350 in all. But, it was absolutely worth it. The alternative for this car would have been the junkyard. That interior is sparkly clean and my nose verified that the mold is gone. They used an "ozone" treatment to clean the vents, and even did a second treatment when they thought the smell as still lingering. Although I'm not a person who would usually pay for detailing, their work on this really bad mold and moisture issue was awesome. read more

My husband wanted his car detailed for his birthday. So glad I bought it here. He says it literally looks like new. I drove it to A2 Auto Image myself and noticed that it was very dirty inside. I doubt he vacuumed it twice in the 3 years he's had it. I also drove it through our muddy roads on my way to get it detailed. So hearing him say it looks like new is a big deal. The owners were extremely helpful giving me directions (My map had them on the opposite side of Jackson ave). I thought the price was fair. When I went in to pick my car up I had to give it back to them to finish cleaning it: door sills, wheel wells, and exhaust tips. I can forgive the wheel wells (they get really chunky and grimy) but the exhaust tips were inexcusable. They weren't even wiped clean on the chrome exterior, let alone polished, and there wasn't even an attempt made to clean the soot from the rim or inner tip. This alone wouldn't have been enough to lose a star, but the pricing is a bit high. Thank goodness I had a Groupon to deflect the high prices. I would not have felt like I got my money's worth if I paid even their "sale" prices. I opted to pay the additional to clean the engine compartment, which was also overpriced, but they did do a good job. I would recommend their services provided you're receiving a reasonable discount. read more

I have an old jeep wrangler that came to Michigan after 20 years in the California sun. It was very sun faded and I was not expecting that much could be done about it. To my surprize AA Auto Imaging worked with me to come up with a paint restoration plan that fit my budget. When it was done, all my friends were all convinced I had repainted the car. But, no, it was just the original paint finally revealed after decades of being ignored. AA Auto Imaging is a family business, so they take their job and reputation seriously, and the people could not be nicer. You can trust them to do great work at a reasonable price. read more

They seemed to leave the detail out of detailing. I asked for the deluxe package for a car that was already pretty clean. The interior looked nice but the wheels, rocker panels and door pillar/hinge areas had oily dirt and tar. when I asked about it, I was told that tar removal was a separate "extra" service that I would be called and offered the next day. (That didn't happen.) Trunk may have been vacuumed but not cleaned and the engine and engine compartment and trunk lid/rim was only cleaned as much as a large rotary brush could easily reach. My wife gleefully tells the neighbors about the hours I put in completing the job after paying more than $200 to have it done. I think I would have gotten equal or better service at a hand car wash for half the price. read more

I went in a few weeks ago and had the interior and exterior elite detail package done on my car. I showed up about an hour late for the drop off time and neglected to call and let them know I would be late. Thankfully the woman working in the office was very kind and offered to squeeze me in even though that had already taken in another car in my place. When I picked up my car it looked great. Everything inside had been wiped down and vacuumed and the seats had been cleaned. The exterior was clean and shiny. I would definitely recommend the detailing service to others. read more

I walked in to set up an appointment, and maybe that got us off on the wrong foot, but she was not just brusque she was genuinely and aggressively rude. I got a gift certificate for Christmas to get my 2012 van detailed at A2 Auto Image, and I wasn't sure what to expect, since I've literally driven it all over the country with my dog and the inside of the van had definitely seen better days. I thought the dog hair problem was hopeless - I've tried vacuuming; using duct tape; and even a wire brush to remove dog hair. I was absolutely astonished to see how clean it was when I picked it up - it looked brand new!! I had let my car become absolutely disgustingly filthy to the point where I dreaded driving it. I am talking spills, dog hair, kid mess, the worst. I was amazed when I picked up the car and the interior looks like it did when I bought it new 7 years ago. The family who owns this business took it on as a personal challenge to get it as clean as possible. They even removed some panels and folded down the seats in the back to clean the area where my spare tire is stored which I am sure was filled with all kinds of dog food and other debris. They reconditioned and cleaned all the interior surfaces and told me repeatedly that if I found anything I was not happy with the next day to be sure to bring it back in and they would correct it. ! WARNING ! -FOR THE PEOPLE WHO TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR VEHICLE- Had my car detailed/waxed. Never will I recommend this place to anyone. Yes the car looked nice from a distance, but when I arrived home I noticed that they "A2 Image" had placed a dent on the rear corner of the car. I called them immediately and the person who answered the phone told me that they are about to close shop and didn't want me to bring the car back to have them look at it. Huh ?? The time was Tuesday 5:54. I live only 3 minutes away from there. If they were a respectable company, they would had said to come back. Ok, so 9:am Wednesday I went back the following day and showed them what they had did to my Mustang. The Manager whom I spoke to said it wasn't the companies fault. Again, Huh ? Absolute joke ! Anyone who owns a beautiful car KNOWS their own car ! After talking/arguing with this person for hmmm 10mins., I asked him to call the Dent Wizard. He said that they had used that company for there dent removals but use a different company now. I asked him what was the name they use now ? His answer was, "He said he couldn't remember". All-righty then.... He said next Wednesday to bring the car in to get fixed, ok so I did. But where is the Dent repair man at ? The Manager had some excuse, I wasn't even listening to him at this point. The Manager then said that the owner is to call me. Hah ! Do you think she did ? tap tap tap..... Ok so I called them. The Manager then told me this time that the Owner would meet me on the following Wednesday. Ok, I drive there once again. I'm there, but where is the Owner ?? The Manager had said that she is too busy to make any arrangements with me to meet. Again, Huh ?? These people who work there do not want to take responsibility for what they had done. Even the Owner shows no respect to the customers. In sadness, This journey with A2-Image that cost $200.00 will end up costing me $$$$ because I now find out that the rear bumper cover needs to be replace and re-painted. So, I had two of my vehicles detailed here. I bought a groupon and thought it was a good deal. The owner, Brandy, was very friendly. It wasn't until I got my car back that I realized just how wrong it all went. My mats were GONE and replaced with some old grey mats from someone else's car. My car is a 2014 and the mats missing were the original mats. My interior is black so I knew immediately something was wrong. Then a few weeks later I open my sun visor and the cover to the mirror falls down into my lap. It was snapped OFF. When I called about the mats (before I knew about the mirror) I was told by a man that worked there that they sometimes got dealer cars and the dealers didn't always want the mats back and I was welcome to "dig through" the mats and choose a pair. In my opinion this is not an answer, they should have offered to buy me a new set of mats. In fact they're lucky that I didn't sue them for damaging my car. I will not go back again. read more
