This shop is okay if you absolutely need some customization at the last minute or are on a tight deadline and don't really care about the quality of the work done here (b/c it's NOT top notch), or if you bringing your daily driver here (just don't EVERE bring your weekend car or ANY car that costs upwards of $50k-$200k or more!!!!!). For starters- while they have no problem providing you with quotes, they do NOT invoice their work- so when it's all said and done, you will pay and simply get a receipt (absolutely NO itemized listing of what was done). I believe that they do this to HIDE additional charges and the quotes you receive over the phone are often not accurate. They have no SHAME in making sure that you prompted with the TIP option on their little credit card device (last time I made sure to choose NO TOP while smiling at the clueless young receptionist!) So in summary, if you HATE being ripped off or paying an additional $100 to$1000 more (as I once did on my Telsa) then don't bring your car here, as transparency/organization/clear communication is NOT a priority at this shop. Also, we have gotten work done at literally over a hundred shops across the US on our 14 cars (ranging in MSRP from $76K to $278K MSRP) and this is the only shop where the owner tolerates the installers/employees blasting loud music and yelling like animals for extended periods at a time (while he's sitting in the office making calls)- I literally felt like I was in a zoo- NEVER AGAIN!

This review is from my mother…read more Review : This is regarding the Carsmetology located at 6159 Jackson Ave. In Ann Arbor, Michigan. Outwardly my vehicle looked ok, my vehicle was picked up at 6pm, with whomever handed us the keys immediately jumped in his vehicle and left the area. I could see the wheels had been cleaned and the front windshield looked clean, no streaks or smudges. Upon opening the doors, there was no 'clean car smell', the carpet mats had been vacuumed but not shampooed as was listed it would: all fabrics vacuumed and all fabrics shampooed. They were absolutely filthy, all of them, fronts and rear. The seats themselves also weren't shampooed, spots not touched. Didn't vacuum under the fabric mats. Scuff mark visible. I left a voicemail and sent a email, no response. It took me three plus hours, 12 cleaning wipes and $6.35 for a car fabric cleaner, and my car is now looking like a brand new car!

It seems silly and nonsensical, so I finally made the decision to get the rear passenger windows tinted. Overall we had a great experience. The appointment was easy enough to schedule, and they were very prompt once we arrived. The man at the front desk was very friendly and informative. He walked us through all the various grades and asked us what our goals were and matched them to our interior. At no point did we feel like we were getting upsold. We were walked through what matched our needs and no more. The experience was a great example of how a strong business can operate and everyone feels satisfied. We'll absolutely recommend this business to anyone and everyone, and we'll no doubt be back if the need arises. Extra shout out for the attention to detail. You can't roll down your windows for a few days after the tint is added... so they tastefully put painter's tape over the power window buttons to protect you... from you. Chef's kiss.
