Once I arrived the employee said that it would be an extra $50. because the backseat was very dirty. When I picked the car up they had charged me an extra $175. to clean the seats. (the owner who is never there made that decision) They were not stained. They just were dirty. I had to pay an unjustified extra charge to get my car. I have had a auto dealership in the past and dealt with many detail shops. Most would not have charged anything extra. This business just looks for any reason to charge more for any reason. Wish I had read the reviews here before buying the Groupon. I use Groupon as an entry point to doing business with a new company. Lower risk, backed by Groupon, good deals as a 1st time customer, all make sense. Except for using this with A2Z. The initial call to schedule seemed fine at the time. There were maybe a couple red flags that should have made me hang up right there but I didn't realize it at the time. They requested my information, standard, they requested card information though I said I had a Groupon. At this time she only required the credit card, I asked if she wanted the Groupon voucher and she didn't have a straight answer. She then ran through a laundry list of upsells, though I said I had the Groupon. When I asked about the Groupon again she said she could take it now or bring it with me later. Very weak process and with a lack of confidence behind what she was saying shows that issue. She confirmed the day and time once more and that was the end of the call. My drop off was for 9:30am. With that I made sure to get up and out to remove items from the car. I pulled most everything out except for a crate in the back hatch and some stuff from the center console as well as some trash items. Hindsight I should have just removed the items but I was thinking I'm getting my vehicle cleaned, why clean it before the clean. In this case I was wrong. After arriving the door is locked and there are covid protocols on the door. Following these to a sheet you need to fill out and the top say that EVERYTHING must be removed from the vehicle. Well great, I'm not here to drop this off and will be using Lyft to go elsewhere. How can I now clear out the the few items and trash still in there? Now an employee arrives. I let him know my situation and that I had not been informed about needing to fully clean my vehicle out. He said it probably would not be an issue & asked about the crate. It is just a dog crate & could easily be pulled out & thrown back in (it's compact). He did tell me that there were extra cleaning charges for dog fur & the office would let me know. Make sense & I kind of thought so beforehand. I called them about 20 mins later. Let the woman know what I had told the employee. She told me the same as he did. The items/trash should not be an issue but she will confirm. She did say there maybe a charge for the pet hair but would let me know when she called back. When called back she let me know that the charge for the dog hair would be another $205. When I asked why that was so high she ran me through the cleaning process. When I asked if we could just ignore the fur for now and move forward with the $185 package I already bought she told me that was against company policy. Asking what my options would be. She informed me they could cancel my appt and charge me $40 for a cancelation. I asked why, after they've refused my business, would I be charged to get my vehicle back. She said they're not refusing my business it is just going to be done for $205 more. I'm out 2.5 hours + $40 + $26 (Lyft) and I'm stuck with $185 in Groupon credits. 1 Clean up your appointment schedule process. Make sure to disclose everything on this phone call. "Additional charges maybe needed for xyz items", "Please make sure to remove all items, trash, etc from the vehicle. This includes cupholders, center console, ect." 2 Use Groupon properly. This is a marketing tactic for generating NEW business not maintaining your 'screw people over' bad business. With NEW business you take a short term hit for return business,longer gains. 3 Be price transparent, "xyz could be an additional fee of up to $200 but I'll know more once they inspect the vehicle." Or "Your appointment is for a $40 cleaning quote assessment. This fee will be taken off your final bill should you approve the quote." Bad business practices, bad business structure. This could all be corrected at the ownership/management level. read more

I had the misfortune of being cut off by a hauler carrying tar. It speckled tar all over the front, window and up on the roof as well. I looked to groupon for deals on detailing and came across A2Z. My first impression upon arrival made me a little hesitant. The entry wasn't so "office" like for arrivals. But the staff was extremely friendly and very honest about the treatments they offered. Though they state closing time is 6pm - they were well beyond closing hours working away on vehicles. That to me, is real dedication to the services they provide. The service on my SUV: They really did a great job on the removal, as well as a clay-bar service, wash and wax with Black Magic waxing for black vehicles. Granted it cost me a pretty penny, the ending result was great and exactly as they promised. I am giving 4 stars, since I only did exterior services and not interior, so I cannot give 5 until I experience the full package! I'm not a clean person so i expected maybe an extra $20-$30 but when I got the call to let me know that the pet hair plus ?mud? on the center console would be an extra $260 I couldn't believe it. On top of that there was some problem with my tires that I didn't care enough to try and comprehend at this point leading me to $348 out of pocket. I have never felt compelled to write a Yelp review good or bad but I feel like I need to warn other consumers about this place. They are selling a Groupon that they then attach cost onto referencing the fine print in the Groupon. I bought an suv detailing groupon for 185$. Once it was too late to refund my Groupon and I had already driven 40 mins one way to drop off my car they called to tell me they wanted to charge me for a 3rd row and "additional" charges that added up to double the cost of the Groupon. When I told the manager I didn't want to pay that and felt misled by the Groupon advertisement he said there was nothing he would do. He was very rude on the phone to the point where I felt nervous to interact with him again. When I expressed that the car was only dirty bc it had dust from a camping trip he was very mocking about the niceness of my car, which I can assure is very nice just had surface dust. It's a nearly new Toyota Sequoia. When I asked if I could work with him and what could he provide for the 185$ he refused to work with me. This place is just trying to trick people into paying for what they won't just list out as the cost. I'm not saying they aren't good or that their services aren't worth what they wanted to charge. Where do I start? I bought a Groupon for a complete interior/exterior detail for an SUV for $155, which seemed like a reasonable price. I scheduled an appointment (which made me put a credit card on file) and on the morning of my appointment around 0930, brought my large SUV (Chevy Tahoe) to their location. Due to COVID-19, it was a contactless drop-off, which I appreciated. I signed a form they had set out and left my keys in a dropbox. A sign said I would get a call and could pick my car up that night, between 1700-1800. Around noon, I get a call from the company. I tell them I have the Groupon. The woman on the phone tells me that it will be an additional $35 charge because my car had a third row (which is reasonable and I was expecting) and there will be an $11 tax charge (also fine by me). Then, she tells me that due to the car's state of "neglect", they would be adding an additional (brace yourself) $260 neglect charge. This was due to some stains on the carpet and dirt on the leather and doors. If you're doing the math, you'll notice that this quickly went from a $155 detailing to a $495 detailing. I was not willing to accept such a ludicrous charge, so I said I wanted to cancel my detailing. She then informed me that I could, but that the Groupon ($155) was nonrefundable and that I would be charged a $35 cancellation fee. So now I have two options: pay nearly $500 to have my car detailed or pay nearly $200 to have nothing done to my car. I decided to bite the bullet and get the detailing done. At this point, they told me that I wouldn't be able to pick it up until the next day. Finally, I go to pick the car up the next morning and guess what, they left the lights on all night and the battery was dead. The final product looked nice, but for $500, it wasn't even close to worth what I paid for it. At no point did they apologize for my horrible experience or try to right the wrong. This is clearly their business model: try to upcharge their customers once they know that their customers can't walk away without paying for it. It is unethical and it is wrong. We took a car in yesterday to be detailed. Here are the facts: 1. We picked it up at 6 PM. When the car was driven to the front, the driver said he opened the rear passenger window and it went all the way down and he couldn't get it back up. 2. He recommended warming it up as it might be frozen. 3. Hair dryers and space heaters did no good. 4. Took the car to the dealer this AM, and they said the window motor was burned out because there was water in the main motor, and it is likely we would burn out the other motors if we didn't replace the main motor. Cost to replace: about $700. 5. Spoke with AtoZ, who said there's no way to prove it was their fault. Unwilling to help ease our financial pain. 6. Insides of car when we picked it up was very wet, and remains that way. No way to sit on the seats. 7. Car had no window problems previously. BUYER BEWARE! read more

Great service and friendly staff! My car recently went through several road trips and was not looking its best inside or out. I purchased a Groupon for interior and exterior cleaning and my car looked amazing afterward. It is an all day process which is different than other places I've been too, but it was worth it Staff made sure to show me the car when it was done to make sure I was satisfied before driving away which I thought was nice. Scheduled an appointment at the plymouth location as we used to take our cars to the prior detail owner who did a fantastic job. We scheduled at there regular rates no Groupon. Dropped off night before which there lobby was left unattended and I called and was told just to leave my keys and their guy on duty should be back soon. The day of I got a text that they were up charging is $120 up charge due to "pet hair & condition" which our car was in good condition and did not have pet hair. We actually took it elsewhere later that day and they said it was in great condition and detailed it for us. Stating this place has been up charging people a lot & has not heard good things. Happy I went with my gut and cancelled only to be reviewing my credit card statement seeing they charged it and I have called them and now they are declining the calls. Made appointment, got everything out of my car, added clay bar service, headlight service and others. add on charges were for about $150. I was treating myself. they said I could not user the groupon because I was a previous customer, it was for first time customers. I checked today if it says that anywhere when you purchase it and it does not. I was not going to pay full price when I had the groupon. When I went to make the appointment 10 days prior to expiration but was told they were booking out more than 30 days after expiration of Groupon but still would not honor it even though it was their books that were full. I brought my 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid in for detailing. The car looked great when I picked it up, but they blew out my navigation screen in the process. Apparently they didn't realize the car was a hybrid and tried to jump it... When I picked the car up they didn't tell me they had jumped the car or that there was any problems with it... played dumb when I called them back on my way home to ask if they turned the screen off. When I pulled into my driveway I reached into the glove box to find the Navigation System manual and found it had already been pulled out of the plastic sleeve... clearly someone had noticed there was a problem. Next day I called back and was told they "had' to jump the car when they were cleaning it (I've never had to do that myself... even in -25F weather this winter), and perhaps that caused a problem. Later in the day they claimed the screen had been "acting intermittently" when it was in their shop (also not true... has never had any problems)... Owner refuses to get on the phone with me. $150 Groupon + $125 in additional fees + $1000 replacement of the Navigation system screen... LIARS, CHEATS, STAY AWAY! read more

I purchased a Groupon for $165 for exterior and interior detailing. A2Z then calls to say that it is going to be another $130 because of the "condition". This is complete garbage because my car is in good condition. In reading the other reviews, it seems to be a theme here. I would like to know what "condition" the car needs to be in to not get the extra charges. Apparently it is part of their business plan, to get people to buy the Groupon and then tack on more charges. Saying they won't complete the job with out the extra charges. On top of all of this, I dropped my car off the night before my appointment. It wasn't completed until 6:30pm the next day. STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY. Worst and complete ripoff of your money if you go here. Here is my experience. I went to and gave my odyssey mini van morning 9 AM for full interior and exterior. I went in the evening to pickup and saw mini van inside to check if everything is cleaned. Door Jams all doors inside panels are not cleaned at all. Then carpets are not cleaned completely either. Leather seats I showed all marks and Aprila (she says she is owner) says his staff worked for several hours. When I asked why these basic areas are not cleaned. She simply says it is a miss and sorry. This is complete rip off of paying $149 for Interior detail. Exterior no need to say .they just do car wash nothing else. Better go to Midwest Car detailing, they charge less just $67 and clean car very detail. I think the reviews in google are managed and I dont think 5 * reviews are real. read more

If i could give negative stars, I would. HORRIBLE service and Groupon Scam. They let you book an appoint with Groupon and then do not honor based on made up rules not in the fine print. They charged my card WITHOUT my permission for a cancellation, even though we cancelled because they did not honor the Groupon. Overall very rude - they don't care about the customer, just trying to get money any way they can, whether by not honoring Groupons, charging hefty cancellation fees when they know the situation before booking, or false advertisement. I had booked an appt prior and cancelled 5 min later and they tried to charge a cancellation fee since it was the next day - I had to remind them I JUST booked it 5 MIN ago. They look for ways to take your money. They were even rude to the Fedex guy who is one of the nicest people I know (we live near by and he delivers to us as well). They do not look to provide service and if anything happens to your car while with them, I would be concerned they would not fix. I asked to speak to the manager, and it turns out that is who I was talking too - that explains a lot, as a culture of poor service or care of the customer, is coming from the top. I received an Xmas gift from my wife last December of a Groupon for A2Z Detailing. My Prius is 7 years old and needed a thorough cleaning. When I picked up my car, it looked great. The first sign of trouble was the rear wiper wouldn't turn off even though I hadn't turned it on. (That problem resolved itself after pulling the fuse for the wiper and leaving it out for a few days.) The second sign of trouble was the young A2Z representative accepting no responsibility for the apparent wiper problem. He insisted they did nothing to cause the problem. He seemed offended by my suggestion. [Poor customer service] The third sign of trouble was noticing on my drive home that the inside driver's mirror was streaky, the inside windshield was streaky and the driver's outside mirror was...blotchy. [Poor workmanship.] The fourth sign of trouble was later that night, when it was time to head over to a friend's for dinner, when I turned on the car, the Navigation screen showed the system was resetting. It took about 3 minutes before it was up and available. [Perhaps inappropriate use of water around electronics?] Within a week, my wife and I started a drive to Arizona. Every time I started up the car, the Nav system reset itself. If I made the mistake of touching the volume knob on the audio system, the CD changer would open, making the on-screen-map out of view, and would stay that way for 5 to 20 minutes. That problem with the navigation system persisted throughout the drive to Arizona. Six weeks in sunny Arizona didn't help nor did the drive home. Since March, time has started helping out. The Nav problem comes and goes, depending on some interaction of temperature and humidity. I experienced the problem for a solid week in mid April. Oh, by the way, the fifth sign of trouble was the mildew that hit about three after the detailing work in January. The A2Z rep had warned me about that. He told me when I picked up the car that I'd have to leave the engine and fan running for two or three hours to prevent that. I ran it for four, but the mildew got us anyway. Once the mildew smell drove my wife out of the car, I've tried three chemical remedies and an ozone machine. The problem isn't GONE, but it's better. I'm only writing this review today, four months later, because today's when I found the credit card information on A2Z to know who to review. The mistake of going with A2Z will coast me hundreds of dollars for a new navigation system, a great deal of hassle and a lot of heart burn over the whole fiasco. It may be reasonable for A2Z to challenge my review because I've not called them about it. I haven't given them a chance to make things right. If you were standing with me when the A2Z rep blamed me for the wiper problem, I don't think you'd have made that call either. read more

I had decent experience with them but not others. When I picked up my car at the lounge, another lady was there. She told me she got charged extra for her car because she drove a Kia Soul. They claimed Kia Soul was a SUV not a sedan. They like to find a way to charge extra or sell extra. Just to be aware of this. When I was there to drop off my car, they wanted me to purchase the higher quality of the service for $20. I thought it was only extra $20 and I was fine with this. Until 3 or 4 in the afternoon, they called me to set up a time to pick up my car. They informed me that my car wasn't clean enough, so it needed to do a special/extra wash for additional money (I didn't remember how much now, but it was at least $40). I felt like being ripped-off because when they inspected my car at first, they didn't inform me about this. They just asked me if I wanted to get better wax. I thought they could see it at the initial go-through. Well, at least they found other things. I thought it was too close to the pick-up time, and they just called to inform it. I didn't really know if they rushed to clean my car or not because it took at least 3 days to dry it off. I didn't take it in the summer when the humidity was high. I took it there at a dry September day. Well, at the end, I told them I didn't need anything extra and just used the Groupon value. I did tip them at the end. Hi, this is a car detailing center. I brought my SUV in to be cleaned and dropped my car off on a Thursday night. They worked on it Friday and didn't finish in time for me to pick it up by the time they closed. They said they would keep it inside to air it out. When I got there Monday morning they did not have the car inside, I looked because I couldn't find anyone to help me, so I looked in the back and my car was not in there airing out. I got my car back and it has so much new car smell it could barely breathe. When that wore off my car smelled of mold and dirt. My car smells perminately like someone passed gas in it. I have been running the car on high heat with the windows open for 2 weeks now, as instructed but the smell won't go away. They told me I would have to bring it back in and pay another $100 to get the smell out. I asked if she could deduct the $60 tip I gave because it is no longer warranted. She said no, I told her this felt like a scam and she hung up on me. In total, I paid more thand $400 to have my car cleaned and they made it smell horrible. read more

I was charged an additional $20 because there was a lot of sand in the car. I was surprised of that charge, I would think all spring details would have this, and it's part of the reason for the detailing. Also, my radio did not work for a day later, it must have gotten too wet. Luckily it did work after leaving the car window open overnight. Otherwise, it looked good. read more

After buying a few groupons, I had two cars detailed at A2Z in the past two weeks. The first vehicle was done great and would have been a four/five star experience. It does take all day for the detailing which is a slight inconvenience, but not a huge deal. Staff was friendly and professional and most importantly the first car looked great on the interior and exterior. We were pumped...which lead to an even greater disappointment after picking up our second vehicle. We dropped it off at 9am and went to pick it up at the end of the day 5:50 . The vehicle wasn't finished when we showed up and it seemed apparent that they were scrambling to finish mine and one other vehicle before the end of the day. It was raining so the walk through prior to picking up the vehicle was cut short by my choice. That being said, i think the expectation is that it should be clean without me reviewing it. The interior, especially the hatch area of my SUV, was not very clean. I found some debri (cough drop) and still needed another round of vacuuming. It also doesn't wasn't waxed. Overall it looked OK but not worth what we paid to have it professionally detailed. I would be hesitant to go back when we've had better experiences elsewhere for the price. Update - A2Z contacted me after reading this review and offered several solutions to make it right. Very professional staff. Updating from 2 star to 3. Still annoying it wasn't done correctly the first time but good cust service to try to make it right. read more
