Coach Ash and Sassan are so positive and fun and really seem invested in the kids they coach. Based in Irvine, but their camps go anywhere in OC and they are very reasonably priced. They also host a chess club, and plan and coordinate many extra curricular activities for their kids; like watching the LA Galaxy and autograph signing session with Jose Villareal. Apparently they were assigned a new ticket number instead of the original one that came with our order. She asked if he was #69 and he said no, but that those appears to be his missing order. Instead of checking with the team to confirm where his missing order was, she snapped at him and said that it's for order 69 and then says "Are we done here?" and walks away. The Asian guy comes out and confirms that they were ours and to disregard the lady. The rest of the staff were nice but that Asian lady needs a serious attitude check. -1 star for her stank attitude. My husband and I not only appreciate what the coaches know, but we are also continually impressed that the coaches are good teachers and offer constructive & positive re-enforcement, and that they're tough-love kind of coaches. You can know a lot and be a crappy teacher, but that's not the case with these guys! While the facility offers cage time, private lessons, and group & team training - our sons have had the privilege to play on their OCX Baseball Academy teams. From a parents point of view, our boys have learned a lot from being on these teams. They fully understand the concept of "earned" playing time now. We are grateful for less of the political "BS" that goes on in the local rec leagues - and even more grateful to not be experiencing "Daddy ball" or "coach Dad" anymore.

My daughter's hard work, and Henry's training took this "untrainable" girl and made her a 4-year Varsity player as well as a 3-year captain. We have recommended numerous people to train with Henry and ALL of them have improved significantly. You may not like Henry (he's a nice guy), you may not like the parking situation, but ask yourself why you brought your child there - to get better. If your child wants to get better, with Henry's help, they will.
