My wife needed a dead bolt for her office. She made an apointment for the afternoon. The Locksmith spent less than two hours from start to finish. She was charged over $500. Interestingly, the gentleman in the next office decided he needed a deadbolt as well. The same locksmith did the installation immediately after my wife's. But he only charged him $100+. Quick, competent, and friendly service! After locking myself out of my house, I originally contacted a different, closer locksmith but got an answering machine at 9 a.m. Then I tried AA All American Locksmiths and got a live person, who estimated an arrival within 40 minutes. Shortly after, I got an updated estimate that the locksmith (Gabriel) was delayed on a prior job but would arrive within an hour of my call. Gabriel arrived on time and apologized for the delay, but I was actually impressed that he arrived so quickly. He got me back into my house speedily, and I am glad that he recommended a keypad lock to prevent future lockouts. I asked for a quote online and had gotten great prices. But when he showed up the prices were without installation. What? What did you think I was going to do with the locks? So he fixed my own deadbolt and handle and I bought a deadbolt and handle to put in another door. 2 re keys to make the keys fit all locks. Plus a $35 charge that you don't get back. I thought I would be paying $200 and ended up paying $400. Knows what he is doing but I believe he is overpriced. read more

Worst business encounter I've ever had. told me since it was Sunday and raining the call out fee is going to be $75. he then proceeds to tell me that since the lock gave him more trouble than expected he will have to charge me $675. All he did was change my two $200 Baldwin security lock to what first looked like good heavy duty locks... but of course after further inspection on the internet i find them to be a cheap $10 lock called Kwikset. Do not use this locksmith Gabriel if you don't want to get ripped off. read more

Needed to have two locks changed on a door. Called and the man was here the next day. Called to let us know when he would be showing up. That was helpful. He did a great job, and new locks and lots of keys later, we were done in about 1/2 hour. I don't know what others charge, so I cannot compare, but I felt that he was fair.
